The judge sees his attempts for a mistrial at every turn and won’t give him a sliver of daylight on them which is why we see such tolerance for his absurdities. Agreed. Assuming his mother testifies on Monday, I wonder if the prosecution will ask questions about anger issues, if she's ever felt he forced her into doing something against her better judgement, or if she's ever been afraid of her son. After all, mister "if you ASK me I will, but ain't nobody gonna TELL me what do" very proudly declared that if he tells her to come, she'll be there - that really doesn't sound like a person who takes "no" for an answer. I have to wonder, what does he think she can possibly say that will convince the jury to spare him? That he regrets it? No, we're all convinced he only regrets having been caught. That he's suffered? Maybe, but how does his suffering balance against the pain of those injured, and those who lost loved ones? That people are aiming hate at her? OK, blaming her for the actions of her 39 year old son is out of line, but why should that translate into mercy for him?

Simply bringing her up is to Brooks' tremendous disadvantage, because of what she entails. It's one of those topics you hope the prosecution forgets to mention.
Because the judge is on to him, she knows his ultimate aim is a mistrial. Best thing she can do is be patient, Bite her tongue and let this reject dig his own grave.
Judge Dorow is trying to ensure it has no chance to appeal for mistrial. She did her job beautifully. Everytime we thought she should have done something to reprimand it for it’s behavior, she didn’t. And she had a VERY good reason not to. @@TysonFromNY oh yeah which side would that be ?
Doesnt he seem caring?
This is triggering, like forreal. Being in an abusive relationship and trying to communicate with someone who may be high on the narcissistic spectrum is infuriating and quite pointless. I pray this man gets every bit of time he deserves.
He "DESERVES" the death penalty!...
@@sarlaccstapeworm990 Yeah and hopefully some lifer helps him find it
What's comforting, at least FOR ME, is that there are prison inmates that are bigger and BADDER than he THINKS he is. They won't give a 💩 about his narcissist actions or outbursts.
Agreed
@@m.w.976 Yeeeeeep. Everyones the tough guy till you’re with the bigger fish. He’s gonna go about 2 weeks in Max until he gets the reality check of his life.
Props to the officer or deputy behind him. That guy has maintained the most unexpressive face through this whole thing.
I have thought the same thing.
Yesss!! He has that stoic face.🤣
I think he’s over it 😂
Haha. I was thinking the same.
People would be amazed if they knew how common a-holes like Brooks are. They are a dime a dozen. The difference with this case is its high profile and very long and drawn out. But idiots raging in a court room like he is happens like once a day easily. People finding out they are going to jail or prison don't take it well
I cannot believe the patience of this judge. I’m in shock.
Dia you want a thumbs up so you feel relevant?
@@admiralboom481 I'm glad you responded to them so that you can feel relevant
@@admiralboom481 What's your problem?? What was so horrible about what she said? You need a girlfriend, you're displaying virgin energy. You have too much time on your hands.
i came here to make the same comment. lol i didn't think judges were allowed to give this much leeway. I think she wanted to give him enough rope to embarrass himself and prove that he's unstable.
I am not. You take that back.
The old "she told me she was 18" excuse 😂.
This man reminds me of the students I have in class who disrupt the class. Yet, they never take OWNERSHIP of anything. Out of CONTROL.
What kind of class do you teach?
Is he the father of these children? 🤣
@@TemplarBlonic It could be 9th grade, but this circular reasoning, disrespect and "what about-isms" can be seen from 3rd to members of congress.
Your students have been raised by parents who let them get away with it, as well as the teachers in their previous grades.
I know teachers who handle their classroom better than this judge runs her courtroom
That judge was much much kinder and patient than I would have been.
she has to be, hes trying to get a false trial, meaning hes trying to get her to show bias towards him and get angry
She had to be. It almost seems like he is trying to rile the Judge up in order to get a mistrial. Win by making the case that the judge was biased.
@@devcs9474 I doubt he has an actual plan
That’s why she’s a judge and you’re not. It’s called being impartial.
@@Stranger_In_The_Alps don't get me wrong. You right, but you could have just complimented the judge instead of throwing this lady to the dirt.
I cannot imagine dealing with someone like this in my life. He would be hard to get rid of/away from. Very harmful and abusive. Yuck.
Isn't he serving 6 life sentences?
He’s the one who opened this door
Agreed
He hates being told about himself. He throws tantrums when the truth is told.
This prosecutor was genius with this argument! We need more prosecutor's like him.
Imagine if Brooks took the stand and got questioned by him. Sucks we missed that.
I know right? I would surely hate to get on his bad side. Meanwhile, the last gentleman on the prosecution’s table, sitting with his back facing the wall, looks like he’s dying of laughter inside. 😆
You mean the sheriff’s deputy? I’ve been watching him the whole trial!
Yes Sarah Jane,,He was ready and loaded with his response to Brooks, who was not ready for what Zach came back at him with..Brooks had no clue that information was about to hit the prevervile fan! The boy did his homework 🤗
It must be his weird eyes and eyebrows that boost his intelligence.
The reality is this. EVERY single person involved in making MR brooks accountable for his vile actions has done such a professional job.
EVERY one of you have kept this about the families and community, and by doing that you have shown the highest respect to the victims.
Sending my love and respect from AUSTRALIA. Xx
lol the karen judge is a joke. court system in the US is broken when you can let this clown who knows he’s guilty so he is going DGAF mode and trying to push for a mistrial by usingthe opportunity to filibuster and grandstand by representing himself with no clue of basic decorum or court procedure and causing extra trauma by cross examining the victims relatives who he (allegedly..) flattened with his ford escape. This is why there needs to be some legal standard to represent yourself and a minimum level of decorum in court as in this case contempt does not work because imo he knows he’s going to be locked up for life anyway. the weak Karen kindergarten judge is an enabler to this clown show by allowing him to derail basic court procedure, she needs to be replaced.
