1. I love that, as TFS themselves pointed out in the recent creator commentary, at 6:20 Vegeta wasn't even being snarky or sarcastic. He was actually showing the minimal amount of respect by calling Bulma's mom what she wants to be called, but is just genuinely confused by human culture lol
2. Trunks slowly going from seeing the group as heroes to realising that most of them are *beyond aggravating* is comedy gold
3. 7:36 literally the only time all these characters agree on something
I figure Vegeta has found he can't do anything to change Bulma's mom's cheerful attitude towards him, so he has stopped even trying.
Not to mention he's legit scared of Chi-chi. I love that Sayiens respect strong women.

6:27 The fact that Panchy is the only person that Vegeta calls them by the name they want says something. She wants to be called Milf so Vegeta calls her that. Then she says she wants to be called Gilf and Vegeta just says “Your culture is so confusing.” Meaning even though he doesn’t understand it he’ll call her that. I guess he respects his mother-in-law.😂

There's a true lovable irony of Android 16 clearly being Kirby's favorite but all her "distressed/surprised" noises could be mistaken for bird sounds.
also to answer the question about the movie I believe that was Ninja Scroll from the 80s. TFS said in their commentary about the episode they decided other animated shows should be the other channels as a "variety" of tv genres. AND of course the begging of "he said one week i'm using it"
The movie they show isn't Ninja Scroll. I've always wondered what movie they used here, so I decided to check the TFS wiki. Apparently the movie is Sword for Truth.
They were both licensed by Manga Entertainment for their English releases. Ninja Scroll was in 1995, and Sword for Truth in 1998 on VHS and 2000 on DVD. Sword for Truth received largely negative reactions in the UK and US where it was marketed in lieu of their success with Ninja Scroll. It was released with the tagline: "The best sword fighting action since Ninja Scroll!" But Sword For Truth (1990) actually predates Ninja Scroll (1993) when you compare their original releases in Japan.
Cell’s “tile problems” is fucking hilarious because I worked for my old man’s tile company for years.
I’ve seen my dad tear up entire floors because the shade of *one tile* was off, or the row of tiles would somehow curve despite all of them having straight lines.
Can relate, as an engineer I come up with this kind of problem every time. Oh and the tiles curving thing, its because of composition, heat and structure arrangement, combine all tree conditions and they can end up cracking, curving and even sticking upward from the ground, it's a hole thing to deal with in projects 🥲

This is a top 5 DBZA episode for me. The humor in these slice of life moments was great and tfs knows how to make them interesting to watch

LOVE these reactions, especially how stunned Kirby ends up with some of the jokes. XD It's a little bittersweet that we're coming up on the end of the (main) series; it's some of the best material, but it's also the end of an era.

No, in the actual show he only makes the ring once. Its a joke TFS added that they colored one square green to make the ring not perfect and give an excuse for why he has to keep restarting. Cause it has to be perfect like him.
Fun fact: #CellGames was actually trending on irl twitter after this episode was released. I forget how long for but I think it might’ve been at least a day.
And it kept coming back as any time anyone mentioned that episode, or the arc in general, they'd use the hashtage in their posts and tweets and such. And also Lani doing everything in his power to boost it.

Kirby, enjoy the Brantley Gilbert concert. I saw him live several years back, and it was a fun show (even as someone who isn't a country fan)
Penguin Village is on the list of towns Cell has visited. It was the setting of Dr. Slump, Akira Toriyama's previous work, and Goku visited it as a child during the Red Ribbon arc. According to KaiserNeko, it's still standing. Cell got into a fight with Arale Norimaki, a little girl and main character. She snacked him around a bit before he decided it wasn't worth it and left. He still went there, so it was added to the list on a technicality.
Arale is a lethal joke character who regularly destroys or damages the moon, only for it to come back the next week. It doesn't matter how strong you are you can't beat her. She is even able to talk on Vegeta without breaking a sweat, though I'm unsure if Arale can even sweat. She is also a perpetual child because Senbei Norimaki apparently forgot he promised to make her older later. Clearly, he never got around to it and she wouldn't age on her own.
Not gonna lie the idea of Arale just smacking around Cell like a fucking beach ball makes me laugh my metaphorical ass off
I have a feeling this might Kirby's favorite, yet also most uncomfortable episode of DBZA, so far, given the pussycat jokes, the bashing of country music, and the return of "all these squares make a circle" 😂

The fact that the only real bonding moment Trunks and Vegeta have in this version of the show is shitting on Krillin is wild lol.
Also the fact Vegeta actually calls Bulma’s mother what she wants to be called, which he doesn’t do with anyone else, not even Bulma herself.
Trunks and Vegeta have a small bonding moment when they flip each other off as Trunks is about to go back to his timeline.

@ryanbrochu3336 those are certainly in the top 5, and I do think they're amazing, but Cell's delivery just sells it so damn hard-- the only one I think might top it is Vegeta saying "My game now... first rule, you fucking die!" And buu just going, "Oh. Buu has played this game..."

Think about the implication behind that statement. Cell has eaten/consumed scores cities/towns and buses amounting to countless thousands and that's in this timeline alone. How many thousands, if not, millions has he eaten back in their timeline?

This was the episode I found DBZA, and I stand by that their slice of life episodes are the best showing of their stellar pacing and writing. And the fauxchestral remix of Cell’s theme from the Faulconer score MMMMMMMMM SO GOOOOOOD

Love the Cell Games, Perfect Cell raging over the stage not being perfect (😂) is hilarious. Android 16’s innocence when talking about the cat is incredible. Vegeta actually being scared to face Chi chi is perfection(😂). Vegeta’s interactions with everybody carried honestly. Cell’s be free to pray to your god but spoilers I won’t be listening had me speechless. The sneak peak of the Demon himself
