We've all be waiting for Kirby's reaction to Chi Chi's "he said one week I'm using it" and I think it became REALLY obvious to her what was about to happen especially with that smile that just plastered itself across her face.
Also TOTAL side note on the "grr I wish I was a carrot" is because (for those who don't know I'm sure there are plenty who do) every Saiyan is named after a vegetable.

I laughed so hard when as soon as Chi-Chi said "Pay me back" Duck's eyes widen and he had the face of "Oh god this is gonna be awkward." And now I too can not wait to watch the next one and watch all the awkward conversations and moments with the return of the Green White Mage.
Recording the Goku/chichi lines there towards the end must have been so awkward for MasakoX 😂
It was probably hilariously fun.
If it was like the Vegeta/Bulma lines, Kaiser would have had them record separately

Damn. Chi-Chi was being *aggressive* with Goku. Did you hear her grunting? I can vividly imagine that she was on top, and Goku had a good grip on her thighs, so that was a foot fired Kame-hame-ha (he did that once in OG Dragon Ball) when he finished.

I just want to bring up that Goku moans in bed, but ChiChi? ChiChi is grunting with the effort she puts in. Full primal. The creator commentary highlighted for me, and now everyone must bear the same burden of knowledge
If you really think about it the Eldritch Horror Mr Popo is actually surprisingly patient when he could’ve lashed out as soon as there was a problem.
When you have the staggering power of Popo, you can afford to bide your time!

If you listen to Goku and Chi Chi carefully at the end you'll notice that Chi Chi isn't moaning in the background... She's grunting. She is taking CHARGE and DOMINANCE of that Kamehameha.

Gohan here, despite his own thoughts is actually even stronger than Goku.
The next episode has one bit that needs one piece of context. Goku in Dragon Ball was a bit unhinged and didn't know his own strength. It wasn't until he met an android (Eighter) that he learned to value life above almost everything else.

I forget which episode I came in on with this, but patience is finally paying off. Only two more weeks till Broly. Two points specifically I'm looking forward to for reactions. My favorite batch of Vegeta dialogue in all of DBZA and those that know can probably guess the scene unique to Broly Abridged. Cell Games (Presented by Hetap) is such a wonderful surprise, glad that's getting placed in there chronologically :D
If that her reaction to the "I'm gonna use the whole week" I cant wait for Kirby's reaction to the end of DBZA.
6:05 Just to clarify, Namekians are capable of using mystical abilities (magic) to create things from nothing. This is the ability that lets Kami and Guru create the Dragon Balls, and is the same concept Piccolo uses to materialize clothes. Since Piccolo is Warrior Clan, instead of being Dragon Clan like Kami and Piccolo Daimao were, he can't create dragon balls or lay eggs, but spawning clothing is considered basic magic that either type of Namekian can perform easily.

We all wonder about the dinosaurs XD In DB the world was a LOT more 'fantasy-ish'. You had anthros, dinosaur and dragon people, werewolves and magic users. But DBZ was a lot more 'basic' modern earth in it's background XD

Tossing all the fantasy stuff away was the worst part of Dragon Ball, probably that's why I like Kid Goku's phase way more.
@@Mari_Izu The Earth of DBZ used to be so cool. Even if a lot of the beastfolk really where that wide spread 'cosmetic' drug, it still gave it a very unique vibe, when combined with the martial arts and other fantasy stuff along side the otherwise modern world.
Toriyama got much more into sci-fi during that phase. What fantasy aspirations he had at the time mostly went into his designs for Chrono Trigger.
Also the man only ever focuses on the immediate plot. The world around it only exists as a stage for that.

Before this episode I never realized that Piccolo & Vegeta never actually fought it crazy. Goku making fun of his friends reaction to his power is hilarious perfect Vegeta impression. Mr Popo & Goku’s relationship is also one of my favorite parts of the show.. hearing 16’s hatred for Goku so blatantly is kinda jarring considering how sweet & calm he usually is. I almost cried the first time I watched Gohan ask Piccolo for a matching gi such a beautiful example of their relationship

Considering how tall Piccolo is, I actually don't imagine crowds being much of a problem despite his cape. Just look at him standing side-by-side with all the other characters during some of the anime's intro sequences. Those pauldrons would probably just pass over most people's heads.

Also, in Hetaps and any other company's defense , the Dragon Balls ARE only an slightly obscure legend. And the SS thing, they basically transformed (which uses a ton of energy just to do), did some light sparing, then went to bed and woke up still SS as if it WAS their baseline form, so all that energy wasted on transforming can just be put into training making their base SS strength and speed much much higher.

I love how DBZA only got better after season 1. This is the peak. The next few weeks are some of the best videos i've seen!
To be fair though, season 1 was kind of rough. A lot of the jokes feel dated because they're based more on memes or pop culture rather than jokes about Dragon Ball itself, and the voice acting and editing were both clear indication that Team Four Star had a lot of kinks to work out. Still funny, but definitely not as timeless as the later episodes.
