Great advice I’d also recommend having something in the shed to wee in, I’ve got a commode! You can pour it in your compost heap, but at least gives you a bit of privacy especially for ladies! As well as this channel I also enjoy Charles Dowding, grow veg and allotment kitchen and garden. This time of year is great as I don’t feel like I’m playing catch up as I can clear without coming back the next day to some weeds that have grown overnight xx

I've just got the keys for my allotment plot... It's a brand new plot so just covered with some grass/ small weeds. I've been following you for a long time and I'm now excited to start the process. Thanks for this post because I was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed at where to start with planning! X

Emma, your videos are so inspiring and I love watching your progress ! I finally got my name down for a small plot at an allotment 5 minutes from where I live (I had no idea there even was an allotment so close by and I’ve lived here for over 15 years 😂), so your videos are fabulous for picking up all the good stuff!

Had about a dozen or so pots of Meteor peas that have been growing on garden bench for weeks. Really needed to get in the ground. I don't know what I'm doing,. Took them to the plot this morning. I thought "how do I get these in? Oh, I remember. Do what Emma does. "Just whack it in" - so I did. Probably get chomped overnight, but they won't do anything in those pots. Had to get planted. Have a good new year Emma.
