I agree and honestly, like I said for a millionth time, he is going to be our wide receiver too. We don’t need another wide receiver. I keep emphasizing that the Steelers are not gonna trade anyone that they have for a receiver who is not even guaranteed to do good. Not to mention they already said they’re not looking the tree anyone so I don’t know where you got that from because during the Pat McAfee show Omar himself said that they’re not looking for anyone right now and he’s just saying that these are rumors.

We don't know this he had 2 ok games vs very bad defences then a below avg same problems picket had 1st half vs ravens he ended up same score as picket vs ravens. Then for playoffs he has same poor start the defence saved this team no Rudolph. It was time we moved on from the 3 backup qbs we had last year.

EXTREMELY CONFIDENT! Russ has done a lot with lesser offenses in the past. He is still in his prime, he’s just not in the middle of it. He has at least 3 more years of very high level football left in him, and 3 years of good football left in him after that.
I doubt Russ will ever hit the cliff before he retires. Can he play until age 45? I doubt it. But I can see him suiting up until age 40 or even 41. The 2024 season is essentially his age 35 season.

Between Pickett, Rudolph and trubisky they only threw for 351 more yards COMBINED then Russell Wilson last season. Also it’s hard to judge fields considering the bears set him up for failure from the jump

I’m a big Russ Wilson fan, but JF1 is an elite talent who 3 yrs ago was thrown as a sacrificial lamb on the worst team in the league. 27th, 28th and 29th rated O-line and a receiving corps that led THE LEAGUE in drops the last three years. Until DJ Moore came along, Darnell Mooney was WR1. Give him time to throw and receivers who don’t drop 25% of balls thrown and JF1 will kill it like Lamar Jackson. Yes, the MVP on the Ravens.

Before the season it's all possible. Today it looks like a team that wins on defense has a real chance to go far with a decent offense.
Now it's up to the guys on the field. I think the Steelers might have a couple hall of famers on the O-line. But, we'll see. That's what makes it fun.

A trade for DK will be complicated because the Seahawks will definitely want something valuable in exchange. The Seahawks will only want one of two players: TJ Watt or Justin Fields plus other stuff.

Once it all shakes out (down to the final 53 man roster) it'll take some time for everyone to connect...but once they do, this team has extra potential to do something special. Forecast: for this first season I'll say the win 11 and go into the post season under their own power. The Steelers WILL have their first playoff win in 7 or 8 seasons. Next season should be better. I hope Coach T holds it down and the team together. Let's ride on 3!!!

Confidence at 9 on the offense as it is now. We upgraded at QB, made some changes at wide out. Plus our coaching staff has been improved. We have a new wide receivers coach, new QB coach, new OC, added a pass game coordinator, and promoted Sullivan to senior offensive assistant. All of this was to help elevate Kenny, but I think all of these minds collectively are shaping the Steelers into a true contender

I’m exited to watch the Steelers run game. With the offensive lineman they drafted last year and in this years draft their line should be great at run blocking. Then either Wilson or Fields in at QB are both threats to run the ball(albeit Wilson not as much as he used to) then you have some really good tight ends in Pat Freiermuth & Darnell Washington,& lastly Connor Heyward can play TE,H-back or fullback. Najee Harris,Jaylen Warren,& possibly even Cordarrelle Patterson should do well with all the blocking help they have for the Steelers in 2024.
Same as last year but we have 2 qb's that can throw. The running game and Defense was the only thing that won games last year oh and mason being hot.

Rough hearing this talk about Warren supplanting Najee. It won’t happen. Coach T LOVES Najee on and off the field! He’s the Bellcow. Period. Point blank. Warren reminds me of Pollard. What happened to Pollard as soon as Zeke left. He did nothing. Najee wears down a defense and then we turn Warren lose. Both are needed and everyone should be thankful we have two hard running hard hitting backs that produce. They aren’t selfish or jealous of the other and neither should we be. It’s not a rb competition now or ever in Pittsburgh.
The so-called experts have made it painfully obvious that they did NOT do their homework. They did NOT watch the Steelers tape from the past 2 seasons. Shame on them. Anyone who DID watch knows damn well that this QB room got a HUGE upgrade.
6th seed playoff berth and a win, or better is what will qualify as a successfully improved team. They have a shot at it all.
They also fail to realize the QBs are not going to be asked to throw all around the yard to drive the offense. Expect heavy 12 personnel and play action dots from Russel Wilson. Najee and Jaylen will drive the boat.

Anybody who thinks that Fields will be returning kicks or playing special teams needs to put the pipe down. If he gets injured and something happens to Wilson, we are screwed. A gadget play here and there, I can see happening... even though the opposing D will be ready for it as soon as he steps on the field.
I’m at a 9, as long as Russel Wilson doesn’t pull a Aaron Rodgers’s and get hurt in the first game, we’re going to be a 12 win team, but as always our division is STACKED, Joe burrow will be back as well as will Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson… they’re are all threats. Hope we can pull it all together and take the division instead of getting a wild card into the playoffs and getting blown out

If russ stays healthy in combination with our run game I think we'll have a top 10 offense, and our defense will be off the field sooooo much more. If we can go up quickly in points the defense will feast all year.

@dlw2982 I said Fields didn't work not Moore and with his QBR dropping by 10.2 from 2022 to 2023 and finishing 21st in PFF grade he was not great coming to a worse pass blocking unit and George Pickens who's worse than Moore and no one else proven to be good
