Great video, great video, but you should add the 2002 world championship when Manu dominated all the games and showed everyone how his game was. Had he not got injured in the semifinal Argentina would have been the champion. That team was even better than the one that won the Olympics.

You sound silly saying this especially since the creator of the video is lying, Manu never averaged more the 19 points a game so how did out score everyone? He isn’t even in the top 50 all time scorers and only averaged 13ppg for his career. SMH

I am Argentine and I have Manu on par with Messi! OBVIOUSLY I know that Manu is not in the GOAT debate of basketball, much less while Messi is in his sport, but taking into account the support that both sports receive in Argentina... it is expected that a Messi will appear and It is absolutely unexpected and inexplicable that a Manu appears, to the point that the "renewal" of our basketball is Campazzo! 😭😭😭 that's why for me Messi and Manu are on par..

As a diehard Spurs fan, when I first saw Manu playing, I was like who the hell is this loose cannon! Take him off the court. Then I grew to love him and he became my favorite player of all time, right next to Tim Duncan and David Robinson. I've been a Spurs fan since the mid 90s by accident. I had a Spurs hat in 1994-95 and said, you know what this is going to be my team even though I was living near Boston. So I made the Spurs my favorite team and the Celtics my second. I'm so glad we suffered that horrible season and manage to draft Tim Duncan. This dynasty would've never happened and I would've never been able to enjoy greatness from these Spurs players. So it's been close to 30 years now since I've been a Spurs fan. It's been a rough road after 2015, so lets hope Wemby can carry the torch.

I remember watching a game where he had the last ball with like 15 seconds left and SAS was losing by one, he scored a two and there were around 1.5 seconds left and the other team calls time out. The camera obviously focuses on manu after basically getting the winning shot and he says something to himself in spanish. I come from Paraguay, the neighbour of argentina so its pretty easy for me to read his lips. Stop for a moment and try to guess what he says. He says "me apure", which translates to "I hurried up". Imagine the level of perfectionism you have to have, there were less than 2 seconds left and he scored putting him team up in a playoff game I believe, but that wasn't good enough for him. This is only one of the many reasons why I admire this guy. One of the few famous role models both inside and outside of the court.

When he was an older vet and the other team would go on a run or the spurs would make a few dumb plays in a row, Pop would sub Manu in and he would instantly change the energy of the game. He didn't just use his left hand. He used his right often dribbling, but went back left where he was more comfortable. This makes it seem like he only dribbled and shot with his left.

Manu was always so humble and such a team player while also being absolutely obsessed with playing as perfectly as possible and to win at almost all costs. That's a combination I've never seen in a team sport, ever, since other obsessed players usually have a huge ego and ofter try to do too much themselves - but not Manu. Which is why he'll likely always remain my favorite player of all time.

The timing of this documentary is dope. I watched this Argentinian stud slice up NBA defenses as a jit. I mean there was a legit time there where he coulda been argued as 3rd best SG in the league. His movements were so uncanny and unpredictable. Never bowed down. Never. Prime Kobe, Prime Wade, when playoff Manu came out he looked like he was just a different monster. Definitely nostalgic and worth a watch. Ty brotha.
