I installed this last week. Installation was very straightforward with no tools or experience, and the results are insane. It pops like crazy when letting off/downshifting in the 2-4k RPM range. Cold starts are almost too loud with the valves open, it's so awesome.

Awesome demo! Is it necessary to do the stage 1 APR ECU tune and soft limiter removal in neutral for my 992 Carrera base? Will it sound the same without these upgrades with just the controller? Thanks!

As shown in the video the VC includes two remotes that can control it. The Homelink is just an additional way to control the valves for vehicles that have it.
Have a 992.1 with PSE from factory but had dealer install an Akrapovic ti cat back exhaust. Will this work? Believe the factory valves were installed as currently car valves work via PSE button to open and close but not fully, Thoughts?
It's more from the tune, though it can happen stock. The tune also allows you to raise the rev limiter. We love pairing both the APR tune and the valve controller for best results! Yes it does! We provide a remote as well! The HomeLink allows it to be integrated with the car. We’re working on other forms of integration but most often we use the remote anyway when showing people from outside the car the difference in volume 👍
No, it will not cause a CEL and it shouldn’t void your warranty. It is completely reversible and untraceable if you want to remove it before going to dealer but most likely they will not void your warranty for having it
You reference drivers side for the short cable but is the installation the same as per the video for RH drive models regardless? e.g. just do it the same as the video doesn't matter which side the steering wheel is on?

I just installed this on my 992 Targa 4 GTS and it's a huge difference in sound. I'm glad I did not spend the money for sport cats or an exhaust.

Just installed yesterday, it was super easy and the results were really nice…just a little deeper and throatier with a 30m in install

Yes our valve controller will allow you to control your factory valves even on non PSE vehicles for the 992.

As long as they are still using the Factory Valves Actuators our VC will work without issue!
