I've been using one of these from Peter for the last month or so now on my Sparco rim. Superb piece of kit. Easily installed. Just tops the wheel off. Love it. Thanks Peter

I carbon fibre wrapped (vinyl wrap $20) 2x old android phones around all the bezels and put onto open wheel and sparco (v8 supercars style rim) , works and looks awesome (better than it sounds lol as I was very fussy with the look of them ) im on console so limited to what and how I can mod them , but sim dash is a very good app for this

I'm thinking about upgrading my T300RS with a add-on wheel. I'm not sure which one to choose.. Any recommendation? The ferrari 599 is only 2cm larger then the standard wheel. Is it worth it or is it better to choose the a bigger sparco wheel?
didn't try the sparco but 599xx feels great in hand and I would definitely recommend it

needs to be original nextion, knock-offs don't work with simhub

Great work again :-) One question I always have been thinking: Why do you use one magnet on each side, as only One magnet will stick to the metal plate. As i see it, the number 2 magnet is not neede - if not the intention is to get a stronger feel/stick. Let me hear Peter :-)
see this video: ruclips.net/video/rf8PqbjdBoI/видео.html , the idea is you can balance the magnet forces so top magnets are pulling the paddle, bottom ones are pushing it, if all magnets are the same size the forces are balanced and linear, changing magnet sizes allow you to amend the curve of forces affecting your paddle :) no bottom magnet = standard paddle as all other magnet ones, no top magnet = 'spring' like paddle effect :) I like things to be customizable so one can tweak it to individual preferences

how about just the magnetic shift paddle mod without the display?
Yup that would work just fine, as you could see on the video the display just sides in so there's no need to add it:)

Alot of weight on the wheel for thrustmaster bases rigs only kick out 3 -6 nm
it's just a bit of plastic and small lcd screen, I have not noticed impact on any of the wheels
Wouldn't it be better to mount the lcd display on the base, this way you need only one display for many wheels and the display wont rotate with your wheel.

Does this work on Xbox ?
as far as I know there isn't a way to make it work with xbox or ps4, it's PC only as it requires SimHub software running in the background
How about using a PC on the background with SimHub software running and race on your Xbox? Would that work?
@@nelis0737 there isn't a solution I know of that would work this way with a Nextion screen I'm afraid
It works on xbox with Simhub. I know it works with Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motrosport 7. The games have a telemetry data option (data out ip address).
