Let's be honest, you are all subscribed to Serpentza. You will find the videos and share them with your people. That's how they start watching. I don't know about you, but I am way more inclined to subscribe to someone posting real hard hitting coverage, instead of the person who self-censors so they can get as much of that sweet RUclips ad revenue as possible.

@@sneakygloworm Only people with money can say it wont bring happiness. All of my problems are caused by the lack of money. If I had it I wouldn't need to stress about anything and life would be so easy and wonderful instead of a daily struggle and having to smoke weed to stay sane which makes me too passive. And you can't study when you are hungry and depressed for not having enough money for food or anything fun and are forced to smoke daily to not wanting to kill yourself.

@@johnElden8760 There is a lot of people from east Germany that said their quality of life went down after reunification because the west continued to treat them as enemies. This continues today.
@@kspau13 Public employees had it better under east Germany as they were small petty kings, the ones who controlled licenses to do business, the ones who issued permits, the ones pushing paper in various public departments or STASI they had their quality of life go down. Or in many cases they just had their ability to exercise arbitrary power at their own whims removed as now with democracy there is at least some ways for citizens to address corruption with free media.

I worked in Chine for a few months way back when things were booming. The lack of charity and mercy of that culture was palpable. I could feel it, occassionaly see it. Everything was intense competition. Can only imaging what the Worker's Party brought to Hong Kong.
100% agree on lack of mercy. Stay off their escalators and elevators. Heck, stay away from infrastructure.
Then they move to the west and the. Try to takeover our schools and culture. I seem to be the only person questioning the over hiring of these people in our schools and companies. They takeover and hire only their own, and have no respect for western morals.
Any society without God knows not what real mercy is. Selfishness abounds. Ruthlessness accepted as survival skill. Let those who know mercy show them what mercy is. Grace abounds.
THE STATE as a whole is what matters in socialist nations. The people are just a resource.

Tried watching this again on July 31, 2024. Just cannot get by the look of desolation on their faces. Then with the flooding that is occurring in many places in China? Devastating.

You didn't see people walking around all day with their nose in the newspaper, it was a morning ritual to read the paper..I grew up at the tail end of the analog era. Nowhere Girls are the result of what we call “luxury beliefs”, like feminism for example. Which works for top tier and the rich, but which wreaks havoc on the lower classes.
If men outnumber women so much in China it is so hard to comprehend how "leftover women" and "nowhere girls" can even really exist in any significant numbers. I guess it is just more communism, but applied to relationships rather than more typical economic stuff, but normally the scarce resource would have more value than the abundant one.
Not when men are worked to the bone, and lack any extra money. What is the average Chinese man going to offer these women other than $20 for some action? They can't afford to do dating, certainly can't afford a wife and children. You're seeing a lot of this in the West too where men are just saying, "nope". The average Chinese who get married and have children get to live in poverty, when they were accustomed to a relatively good life as a single child.
Maybe women are more than just vessels through which men can exist. Maybe some see themselves living their lives on their own terms?
Back in the day people got together and had lots of kids because either they had a farm to run or because child labor in cities was legal. These days child labor is generally not okay plus expensive education is a must so people have less incentive in having them.

The China State Council focused on auditing the subsidy funds for the Rural Compulsory Education Student Nutrition Improvement Plan totaling RMB 23.137 billion in 159 counties across 13 provinces from 2021 to August 2023, and found that some of the funds were directly misappropriated. Specifically, 66 counties used RMB 1.951 billion for repaying government debts, funding the "three guarantees" at the grassroots level, and other expenditures. Some funds were covertly diverted through methods such as lowering the catering standards and falsifying procurement transactions. Some funds were colluded to obtain and used for issuing welfare benefits. In addition, there were also issues such as power rent-seeking in catering procurement tenders and meal supervision.
My heart goes out to these young women. Not much that I can do for them.
At the same time I'm reading there is a massive male surplus in China. How are there so many leftover/nowhere girls when there are lots of guys around? Surely there must be some good guys to be had.

I love (and I mean hate) how the ages 30 and up is like a mental death sentence to getting older. You’re 30+ years old and you don’t have: own family and kids/ haven’t finished school/ women falling out of favor/ no job/ etc. People of today are acting like chodes. 30s is a blessing. It’s the age of maturing if you are willing to allow it whether rich or poor. It’s just that a lot of worldIy things are being thrown at us that our 30s is seen as the end instead of a mature beginning.
How can we help these women? Is there any way at all - are there legitimate organisations to donate to?

There is an inconsistency here. He implies 'leftover women' have options, such as building a career, and later funding education abroad. Yet he generalizes that 'nowhere girls' have no such options. That is a disconnect. Has the male chauvinism suddenly become much worse, such that it once allowed women to higher level positions, but now does not?
Also, I HAVE seen women in videos of the giant political plenum meeting.(even here, one in red at 3:41 and one in white at 4:44) Certainly, they're a minority.
