Sports and passion hey it's all good but the way he did it showed that even after 4 smashes with jumps that despite him putting clearly everything into hit after hit over & over the emotion wasn't alleviating and the only reason he stopped was the racquet wasn't just smashed it was totally destroyed. If you're choosing not to notice that the nature of the smash was a little different to most then fair enough but it was and there's always reasons for such. So you can't blame some people for being curious and wondering why and talking about although putting him down for it would be a step to far I'd agree.

To be fair, the tennis (and sports in general) landscape back then was very different. Saudi is heavily investing in a lot of sports to improve its place in the tourist landscape. Think football, golf, and F1 to name a few top global sports with a big presence.
