This is the second time in FF history where the main protagonist got power directly from the main villain. Bhunivelze already paid that price thanks to Lightning, now Ultima has to pay for it by granting his power to a man who already has all the other Eikons.
Eh, I’d personally consider the Armiger unleashed to be superior gameplay wise (at least from what I see here). The various combo Enders and cancel tech make it much faster than the long animations I’m seeing here. But I’ll wait for ffxvi to come to pc on sale, just to be sure.

SDT was all about dramatically expanding your options in short bursts, whether that meant completely replacing your moveset (Dante) or just overcharging your original techniques (Vergil). At its best you’d use it for a second or two to squeeze out max damage or reposition in an eyeblink. For example, there is no mission in DMCV where you can maintain SDT indefinitely. Here, the very first encounter with Ultimate Eikon forces you to use nothing else. It may empower you, but it does somewhat limit your versatility.
They finally found a way to implement Dante's Sin Devil Trigger. It actually makes a whole lot of sense, to have Ultima as Clive's own Sin Devil Trigger. 😅🧠💡

I’m going to be honest here, FFXVI is one of my favourite games of all-time, but why tf didn’t Clive acquiring Leviathan’s Eikon powers and abilities at least slightly alter the original ending? It makes zero sense that Clive should die now, given that he has all 8 Eikon powers. That means he should be able to absorb Ultima’s power, be completely in control and be able to live normally. The problem before was that he was an “incomplete vessel” but now he’s literally not. He wields the power and abilities of all 8 Eikons, so how would absorbing Ultima’s power still kill him? This video literally shows and proves that he is capable of harnessing and wielding that power damn near effortlessly, it just might take a little getting used to. Don’t get me wrong, the ending obviously shouldn’t be completely different, Dion should still go out as he did, as should Joshua, but I genuinely thought that what’s happening in the screenshot used in the thumbnail of this video was going to be incorporated into the original ending somehow, with the vast majority of it being unchanged, apart from Clive obtaining Ultima’s power.
He got all the magic, channeled all the magic effectively (similarly to seen here). He then used all the magic to destroy all the magic--then proceeds to try and use magic after having just destroying all magic. The curse appearing on his hand is validification that there truly is no magic anymore, as even he can't call on it anymore (and of course straining to do so invokes the curse because even that one little spark was an incredible feat for a world without magic..)
Ok so take it like this in the base game leviathan was no where to be found only mentioned ulyima knew of the existence but probably didn't know where leviathan was if you want to put it that way also going back to meeting and seeing walijus he was frozen in time who or what froze him
No idea why you think the problem is Clive being incomplete. The ending makes it explicit that Clive's body wouldn't have been able yo handle the full power required to remake the world: Ultima's plan was doomed to fail from the start. Clive just used the power to get rid of magic and ensure the world can live on, which in turn made the curse kick in because no one can handle that much power.

Damn! Why all the super power modes in recent FFs are dlcs?! Armiger Unleashed was dlc (doesn't count anymore since Royal and Windows Edition), Bahamut stance is dlc as well and now this?! Why couldn't it just be a reward for finishing the main game?!
I never figured they would change the ending but at the very least there should have been an additional cutscene of Ultima getting beat with his own power.

So both Ultima and Omega weapons are still the strongests swords
There are 2 weapons that are stronger one with 750 attack/stagger and one with 500 attack 1000 stagger

He die because he have too much power he had 7 Eikon and Ultima if included Leviathan nothing would have change since it's still too much power.
