Being able to have all of the ekions and not getting a more elaboration of the ending is a complete waste..but then again to hide an ending behind DLC would be a low ball move as well so I'm torn
I'll admit while having Ultima abilities is awesome I think it's stupid that he'd give out his direct, unfiltered abilities, especially considering one of his quotes in the final fight is literally "You cannot have this power, it is not yours to take". I'd have preferred it if having gathered all the eikons at once, Clive is able to merge them into the pure power himself.
It's because at no point did ultima see you as a threat. You physically can't beat him, even in this situation. The problem is in the final battle its a battle of wills. Clive wouldn't bend and ultima was starting to freak out over how strong humanity willpower can be,weakening his own will.
Well to be fair, Ultimas power and Kairos Gate are meta content, considering the unlock requirement is having a clear save (you have to have done Origin first to unlock Ultimas powers), so it makes sense. Leviathan on the other hand is weird, they should have at least included it in the sequence,
They still couldn't beat him in the real world. This is all a mental battle for Clive's body. Whether or not he had given Mythos the power would make no difference. They couldn't match the power he wields.
My perspective is that Ultimalius deemed Leviathan defiled, as such he did not want to take back a fragment he saw as impure, which is why he made no effort to lead Clive to Leviathan in the first place. Remember, he only wanted his race to survive in the end, everything else needed to be discarded, so it's logical that a "profaned" fragment defiled by human's will would not be taken back. I think it's actually fitting for his nature of looking down upon absolutely everything. As for the fact that he gave Clive his own power, he gave him just a mere fraction of his power, not the entirety of it. Of course, it would be a miscalculation on his part, but he had never seen Clive as a threat or a competition.
Unpopular opinion: Clive should’ve been able to use Hellfire like from his dark boss fight. I mean, it’s Ifrit’s signature attack and he is the Dominant of Ifrit so makes sense and yet he has every else’s powers and two of Ifrit’s.

Ultima's abilities all have a fast cooldown nearing 20 seconds, except for Ultimate Demise, which is at 100 seconds exact. Clearing Kairos Gate levels gives accessories that bolster them further.
I didn’t manage to get Ultima but I got Leviathan. In fact, I finished him off with Leviathan’s special attack. Imagine, the one Eikon he didn’t want you getting and that’s the one that beats him.
Ff15 was arguably worse with dlc half the casts development was locked behind micro transactions and they didn’t even release the final dlc that would’ve been the true ending
@jorgetorres-yw9ju Yeah honestly XV's is *way* worse Cutting out character development for the main companions was such tone-deaf move (even if it was due to time constraints), at least with XVI they're like weird little side stories that isn't required to understand the full scope of the game's story. Like both games have their own set of problems for sure, but to say XVI's DLC is comparable to XV's clearly doesn't get why the philosophy of the latter's existence was such a gut punch. And the fact folks was denied a more fulfilling ending that got reincorporated into a crappy novel, made it even more engregious.

Nox was in the first Posters as team mate and Aranea can get it by a Glitch(Maybe Fix). I like the FF15 movie more as the hole Game and Sir Ulric is a better Character then Noctis

Get rid of dominion. That ability is garbage and 3x out of 5, you will miss your target
I think the main issue is the upgraded ability doesn't function, I've not seen the 2nd impact actually do any damage or stagger anything
