Hydrogen Baby vs Coughing Bomb
Literally.
LMAO
bro this has me dying
You almost killed me
LMAOOOO
9:49 When you 1v1 a literal infant and they start kicking your ass so you gotta lock in.
Clive: aight imma fight this baby.....Damn baby got hands.
BABY
STAND
I love Clive because halfway through the fight he forgets what he's fighting and starts shit talking a baby
@@jesuisradmusic I mean, if the baby was kicking my ass I would shit talk him too
When you bring a fire type to the water gym
Clive: "What do I do, lord?"
Ultima: *"Destroy the child. Corrupt them all."*
Execute Order ULTIMA: Eliminate All Humans.
4:46
“Drifting in the realm beyond all knowing.
Forsaken, shedding tears of glass.
Now tumbling from the boundless heavens, taken.
White moondrops, burning indigo!”
“Leviathan, Leviathan, Endless!
Leviathan, Leviathan, send us!
Leviathan, Leviathan, breathless!
Leviathan, Leviathan, deathless!”
“Leviathan, Leviathan, restless!
Leviathan, Leviathan, test us!
Leviathan, Leviathan, bend us!
Leviathan, Leviathan, rend us!”
“Silence from the knife that softly severs
Mistaken for an unsung prayer.
Now rising from the soundless Deep, awaken.
White fury, blinding indigo!”
9:42 I waited 4 years. 4 years to hear this song in XVI, and I have to say... It was worth waiting every minute, Soken delivered another certified banger of a song. Easily one of the game's top 3 tracks.
Same here, since that trailer I wondered where it was
Probably top 10 franchise´s tracks as well imo
IMO top 3 is Leviathan theme Phoenix theme and Ultima final phase theme
Same hereee i got chills when it started. I was like: At last they used it! One of the best tracks in XVI and it wasn't in the game until now :) it was a good closure and a good spot to finally use it. Loved FFXVI
anyone know the name?
I can't believe the literal baby was the hardest boss in the game
Im sorry, did i hear that right?
The dominant of leviathan, THIS THING. IS A FKING *INFANT?*
@@charlie-cv5df yes
@@charlie-cv5df essentially they were going to sacrifice the baby and leviathan kicked in to protect its dominant at least that’s the gist I got
@@charlie-cv5dfthey used the Baby as a form of sacrifice since he was a dominant, so it retaliated and transformed. Clive was fighting Leviathan in order to basically let the Baby release all the frustrations it accumulated over 80(?) years of being frozen in time.

FINAL FANTASY XVI NOT ONLY LETS YOU BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF A CUCKOLD BUT A BABY TOO
PEAK GAMING
wait I forgot, which one was the cuck again?
So glad to hear 14 leviathans theme during the dps phase
Really loved hearing it for 30 minutes cause man that dps phase is hard lol
@@doolenny9458 Ok im glad that wasnt just me, I had to try so gd hard so many times to make it in time. Even then I beat it w/
@@slimabob same lol I was more satisfied to beat that one phase than most bosses lol
I swear you need to play perfect
@@doolenny9458 same lol. I was more proud to beat that one phase than the full leviathan fight XD
Clive: we're gonna have to beat up an infant ifrit...
Ifrit: FUCK YEAH! LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!
This is the theme you heard on the very first trailer. You thought it was lost and forgotten in the main game. Its very fitting for this dlc since its leviathan the lost
The lyrics to To Sail Forbidden Seas finally make sense with the context of the moment
Operation "Punching A Baby To Sleep" acquired
phase 3 vocal begin: LOCK IN MODE
Nice to be able to hear phase 3 when I'm not fighting for my life/getting drowned because I failed the DPS check lmfaooooo
Haha, final fantasy mode I assume? Yeah that DPS check was INSANE. I had to retry several attempts, I think I succeeded the fourth attempt.
@@orenekete nah just action-focused. Can't even imagine what it must be like in FF mode lmfao
@@kartikayysolaDude in FF mode I was punching air I swear lmao. Great boss though
The FF mode dps check was insane I was like "Oh great I missed a combo at 80% of the boss' life so I already know I'm going to fail"
I’ve had like 3 runs just end cause spitfire takes 5 seconds when I had like 3
Genuinely surprised me that they would put FF14's Leviathan theme somewhere in the fight
Having 3 phases of music for my favourite FF summon is also a TREAT too.
Goated Eikon fight.
I mean each of the Eikon fights have references to their FFXIV counterparts. "Control" has parts of "Fallen Angel" at the start, Titan Lost's theme has one-to-one rifts from Titan's "Under the Weight", Bahamut's entire fight is a call back to the Coils of Bahamut, Odin's has some measures that are very similar to Odin's theme from FFXIV, "Urth's Font."
@@coolyeh1017 didn't know that for Odin and titan actually, but with the others i did
so i suppose thats where my surprise comes!
@@JestahThe Titan one is very obvious once you know the section of Under the Weight it comes from. I believe it is at the 1:38 mark of Under the Weight, but the FF16 melody is literally riped from the guitar that occurs after the first vocal verse.
@@voistar5387 Oh damn imma have to give it a relisten then and keep my ear out for it sharper this time, Thank you kindly!
the legacy of crystals...
Has shaped our history for long enough
The DPS check was rough on FF mode, I was level 84 and had less than half a second left when I broke the shield, took a lot of tries. Glad to see they put the awakening theme into the game
I was level 108 and didn’t do much better lol. The DPS check was rough
Not to anyone watching the theme like most other ekion fight starts during the fight's 2nd phase. The first phase in the wave uses the standard ekion theme. I loved this fight phase 1 music sounds heroic (with a touch of pirate) as Clive is trying his best to save the kid. Phase 2 gives a sense of panic something big is coming and u don't know (unless u run out of time in which case it's tsunami and it destroys the village) Clive trying his damndest to stop the attack. The final phase yells just a bit more u can do it save the kid and Leviathan from it's rampage and pain. A wonderful send off to FF16.
I absolutely love to see a live recording of 3nd Phase ! It just hits 🤩🤩🎶🎼🎼
Man, phase 3 was incredible, this gotta be the best DLC I've ever bought
Definitely one of, if not the hardest boss in the game but holy fucking shit what a boss it is
Definitely one of the best on the game and thats saying alot cause every single one oft hid games bossees are fantastic
This is far the hardest boss in the game. No contest.
it's fire vs water, youd be surprised if it wasnt a hard boss
@@mentoloshurka mfw a BABY is the strongest boss in the game
Imagine if he absorbed aether like Titan or Bahamut.........
Bro was amped by 80 years of pure hatred he’d easily be top 3 strongest dominants if there was aether for him to absorb around
Yeah we ain't winning that one, unless we also absorb aether too.
Clive is absolutely fucked then
@@joeystarr1273 if Bahamut brought us to space, Leviathan can drag us down to the deepest and darkest abyss
An even more terrifying thought, if the eikons grow stronger as the dominants get older (cuz theres no way joshua didnt go from getting ripped open like a happy meal box by a feral ifrit to boxing fucking BAHAMUT blow for blow without some kind of strength boost)
Leviathan is the scariest dominant to me. The fact that he delves in the sea and causes tsunamis.
Was not expecting it to be so similar to the FF XIV theme
4:20 Sounds good on 1.1 speed
This is amazing! 10/10
17:18 the motif you’re looking for
For me personally, it was a battle wiht which i had the most fun ever. I loved the battle, the movements, the theme.
Yeah, FF16 isn't thaaaat popular, but honestly: I LOVE it.
Phase 3 SLAPPPSSS!!! I almost want to put myself through this challenging fight again
already did this morning. BRO NOW I WANNA DO IT AGAIN
@@zoltire6478 Stage Replay bout to be fun 🤣
Who knew fighting a baby would be this intense…
Dps check was brutal, especially coming back from a coming back after not playing the game since echoes of the fallen.
Yep I think forgetting that Ifrit’s square special was a charge attack is what made it so rough for me because I did it without ever fully charging that move and it was super tight. Looks like that’s the biggest factor in doing big damage and not needing to get off 3 spitflares
I’ve been wanting to hear this song in the game since I heard the hints of it in the original trailer.
What a fantastic choice for Leviathan’s theme.
Soken strikes again
YES IT'S HERE
FINALLY I CAN DIE IN PEACE
Easily the best boss in the game for me. Sure, it's not a huge spectacle like the others, but it more than makes up for it in gameplay. It had the most challenging and fun mechanics and I wish the othe eikons were like this.
Probably the hardest boss in the game with that dps check, i have seen a fair amount of best ff streamers failed it at least once each, the stress of clearing a huge dps check in a short tine under assault and barrage is real with this one. Even the Ultima Risen dps check on Purgatory wasn't this rushing.
Yeah i failed it once because i didnt realize how fucking tanky he was in that phase. Got it the second try tho @DDragon1226
I simply with there were more eikons fight they ars fucking hype
@@sirartorix389 maybe another game in this style could have Alexander and other big summons
@@ShowtimeLaw ngl I'd love a ff xvi-2 this time it actually makes sense, thry could tune the gameplay and insert more eikons stuff and shit like that
11:00 part gives me chills
that is the Real Leviathan's power look like!! aesome~~~
*Me clicking on video*
Please let Through the Maelstorm be in this somewhere, its one of my personal favorite Primal themes from FFXIV (especially the Blinding Indiego version)
4:19 HEEEELLLLLLLLLLL YEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I ascended, thank you soken
Levithanbeat me 6 whole times
6 whole times, An Infant child whooped my tail XD
Based on how easy this run looked I can tell this is normal and FF mode where it’s really hard compared to normal
the only difference between normal (from what ive seen of normal) and FF mode is that levi does significantly more damage, has more health, and the damage check is way stricter (you either clock tf in and perfect it or you don't pass the check--on normal it looks like there's some room for error)
Just did it in ff mode. That dps check really leaves no room for error. Had trouble with it for a while
@@thelonewolf6616 how hard was it on a scale of 1-10 on ff mode I just barely beat the dmg check slightly under leveled at 1 second before the tsunami 😹
@@joeystarr1273 I can tell you. Shit was hard. Died literally ±20 times. I had to go to Reddit to discover that you had to use spitflare 3 times then deal damage with combos and Brimstone. Also finished at 1 second before Tsunami.
That shit soured the whole experience for an otherwise breathtaking expansion. Pissed me off so much I had to listen to a podcast that tears the game to shreds. Then I came back and learned burst combos (■■■🔺️🔺️) to just barely pass in time
Clive : I got a world to save ... but first let me babysit Leviathan a while
Someone should use Awakening during Ultima’s final boss fight, it’s so fitting & perfect!
Amazing
One day I'll listen to all of the Final Fantasy soundtracks and give my opinion on them
but first, I have to finish listening to all of the Touhou albums
Definitely my new favourite eikon fight cause I’m a souls game fan and love the harder difficulty
Man why was the DPS check so strict XD still a fantastic fight!
Yea I did that in FF mode holy moly they want you to really REALLY save that flamethrower move and the other move for the end phase because wow if I did not do that I don’t think it be possible I had almost half a second left when I used it
@@thegamewin100 yeah, I was on normal and even then it felt like you HAD to save both moves for after the third pushback
@@Chromastone64 the pushbacks are based on both time and damage dealt. You can get through without saving both moves for the third pushback but it requires a really specific attack rotation.
did the check for the first time on FF mode
you basically have to download that entire damage check 100% and nail it perfectly on the head to get it--i made it down to like the last wire
then i died a couple times to raging seas :(
Did it on ff mode
I literally broke his shield like half a second from his using tsunami, lol
Final fantasy Mode doesn't mess around, and neither does leviathan
Was the toughest boss yet
Gyarados really loves using hyper beam. (I say this with love.)
3:45🌊💙
Best fighting ever on ff series
Pov: you're punching a baby
Clive actually Bright-slaps the little chap to reality 😂
This thème IS EPICCCCCC!!!!!!!!
I beat this on final fantasy mode damn was it hard but fun
14:31 what you looking for
King of eidolons
this would fit in a Zelda game too
YOU ALL KNOW THE TARGET
Most unforgiving dps check of all time
It’s funny how a literal infant has more personality than Barnabas
Tough lil baby this one
this is just baby leviathan length 100-200m+
leviathan in ffxv is 1000m+
Well to be fair this Leviathan is a literal baby.
Yes, this leviathan is a baby, literally. And yet he proved to be cooler than the leviathan of the 15
@@brandoneroza4725 i 100% agree, who knows how powerfull he could have been in his prime, maybe Clive would have needed to fuse with phoenix to take it down it it were and adult.
The dominus is an infant. Leviathan not. He won't grow neither any bigger nor stronger.
Besides XVs and XVIs Leviathan cannot be compared.
XVs is a more realistic Leviathan and also a goddess.
XVIs Leviathan has the original model (being used in any FF) and is simple a pawn of the "god" (Ultima).
That’s because in ffxv your playing as ifrit and not human form. Ifrit just looks small compared to Leviathan but still was really huge when we were fighting him as Clive
Вот эта песня из 1 трейлера
11:03
This is exactly what the game should have been on launch, a completely insane man given the power of literal Eldritch gods to go on a killing spree to absolutely kick the shit out of a baby
It's not child abuse if the baby fights back
Ngl was quite disappointed but given the DLC's overall theme it makes sense its kinda more tame than what we're used to and what we got for Titan.
Lol so uh this might seem weird but I've always felt titan was kinda tame he was the weakest one song wise in my opinion, not saying it was bad I just didn't like it myself
@@nightfoxgaming5779Agreed. I was expecting Find the Flame against Titan Lost, was dissapointed with what we got instead. At least the final phase is awesome.
Leviathan gets the the Awakening theme, that's awesome af!
@nintendofire622 for sure for me Levithan fits the leviathan I've know from like every other game, except 15 which is different beast in itself lol
yeah its definitely in the middle tier out of all the eikon fights but its still pretty good
Expected more guitar and more energetic theme like FFXIV's Blinding Indigo
ボス戦20分もかかるのか・・・しかもつまんなそう・・・
Still using that synthetic orchestra and choir Soken? No wonder you couldn’t get a BAFTA nomination.
How is it that indie developers are using real orchestras in their soundtracks but triple A SE is still using soundboards?
I guess there are many fans of soundboard in FF community. Since it is the backbone of FF soundtracks for a long time. It kinda gives a nostalgic 90s feeling a lot of fans grew with. Usually you will get the orchestral version at Distant Worlds anyway
You orchestra snobs are something else man 💀
Stfu and enjoy that fucking melody. This man is already full of work, and he never stopped even while battling cancer. He has every right to produce however he likes.
Also, how the fuck is that Soken's fault? Do you think orchestras grow on trees? Maybe you should blame Square Enix for that.
Also, the choir is real at least for the entire vanilla game. Every single voice is literally in the credits. This and Omega theme's are synthesized, but I'm not even sure to be honest.
Get outta here with your elitism. It still sounds incredible. Soken is a maestro of creating melodies and leitmotifs and weaving them into the narrative.
The BAFTA awards are genuinely a joke. They are really out of touch with games. They gave game of the year to vampire survivors 2 years ago. And on the other hand, the gaming awards with merity like TGA literally gave Soken the award.
Phase 3 is the goat
