Loving the vids mate! Fellow 182 owner here. Also have an elcheapo obd2 scanner and they work really well for. Basic codes. Pretty sure the previous owner never cleared the code for the decat. Cant wait for the update on whether the eml stays off now
It’s stayed off so far 🤞🏻 When I bought it I was told that sensor was acting up so the EML was intermittently on, hopefully it’s settled now. At £12 it’s a great addition to the toolbox.
I got my Leon cupra R 1P tuned to stage 2, including a decat and obviously an error light came on. Only after getting the aforementioned full stage 2 tune at a reputable tuner did the light go away. What about yours?
Glad to hear yours all got sorted. I managed to clear the light but it came back on, I think it was related to what became a bigger issue with injectors. All now sorted with genuine parts and the light hasn’t returned 👌🏻

Really helpful video. Hopefully you don't have a reoccurring problem with the CAT.

Nice cheap fix. If it comes back, don't rule out that the pre cat o2 sensor might be faulty

it's usually the bank 2 sensor after the cat which comes on with a sports cat/decat
