I wish Lorraine McIntosh had been lead singer on more songs. She has an amazing & unique vocal tone, tons of energy and joy.
Just seen them in Cape Town and they were awesome if you were in your twenties or teens in the 80s you must go back and see them again. Many thanks Deacon Blue for a great evening at Kirstenbosh Gardens.

The whole concert is on the The Big Picture singles DVD- highly recommended. It is engrossing and incredible.

@@brosephyolonarovichstalin2915 Realistically the Waterboys is just Mike Scott, (who is from Scotland - the town of Ayr I believe), however other musicians have come and gone. During the late 1980's he/they decamped to Ireland have maintained a close link with the country since the Fisherman's Blues album (1987/8). Thus they often get mistaken for an Irish band.
