- This ‘67 Pontiac GTO started as a semi clean car until Steve Aguilar contacted Sean Smith and the design work got going and went deep. Very deep. This goat now makes around 1100HP and every single element has been touched to create this rolling driving work of art that continues to pick up awards at every event it goes to so sit back and enjoy the ride...

First gen GTO is one of the most beautiful muscle cars ever produced. It's for sure on my top 5 cars of all time list. And this, this is just art in motion. Absolutely stunning.
This car is about as close to perfect as you'll ever see. Amazing work!
No weather stripping on the trunk. Definitely a Trailer queen
Agree 100%.. I'm curious what was spent on this car.. but it is truly perfect.. stance, color, wheels, interior.. spot on.. Wow!
Without a doubt this has to be the perfect Hot Rod it looks factory stock but it's not even close it's a real beautiful GTO.
Good Lord, this car is absofreakinlutely GORGEOUS!!! I typically don't like rings on tires, especially red ones, but it just works on this car and with that wheel style. That shade of blue paint looks like a factory GM color for a car from the 60s and 70s era. Man, I want this car SOOOOO bad and I wouldn't change a thing about it!
You call colored walls on tires rings?
Never heard that, is that some kind of new slang or you don't know the name?
im not a big fan of '67, but i like this one. it's more about appearance than horsepower that will never be fully used.
Nothing like American muscle, Beautiful GTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the Pontiac GTO so much but specifically the 66 and 67 GTO. This restomod is a work of art.
‘66 has a prettier rear end than the ‘67 does, and that’s the only real difference too 😉
@@narrowistheway77 Yeah the 66 gto is cool too.
I got a 65. Foothill paint and fabrication channel is building his own 67 right here on you tube. RUBY
I'll take that $10,000 dollar Mustang over than $1 million dollar GTO why because I can have the same amount of fun behind the wheel and, have plenty of money left to leave my grandchildren.
So satisfiying! I'm telling you we are living in the "good Ole" days right now. When modern technology is put in classic car lines its a match made in hot rod heaven! Keep 'em coming Jay.
We are in the last days of the ICE enjoy these while we can. Guys storing them or investing at auctions are gonna be crying tears in a few yrs
Thing looks like a Trailer Queen, has the comfort of a Lincoln Navigator, and the power to send it to the moon. But it's 100% all done perfect. This is the nicest GTO I've ever seen. That whine is terrifying though when he gets on it.
Wow, as a Brit I obviously have limited knowledge of American cars, but I bet this one is probably one of the best in the whole of the USA. Absolutely gorgeous and well done to Steve for creating this, I guess, work of art 😊
What a ROAD MONSTER!
Love that you Kept the body stockish.
This was my favorite car at SEMA last year for sure, it’s what I’d called OEM Plus, very timeless and Steve looks like a super nice guy.
Wow, beautiful GTO Restomod... Great build to all the guys who helped to build this car. I love how the engine just screams!
I used to love the ‘67 GTO the most of all, but I eventually realized that the ‘66 had the better rear end chrome trim and switched to loving it the most haha. Still, ‘66-‘67 are definitely the best of the GTO’s, they’re just so beautiful 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I remember when GTOs were tub’d out, had high profile blowers with Holleys and 500 horses was mind blowing.. As a teen they were taped up all over my bedroom walls. I definitely like where they’re at today.
The stance, wheels, meat, the charged mill & the paint elevate an amazing model to unrivaled epicness🤯💥💥💥💥💥😍 So sick🔥🔥🔥
Dad had a 67 GTO growing up. 6.7 liter then, as a child was scary
Has to be my favourite car of all time.....magnificent! Great video Shawn as per usual!
Guys gotta have 250,000 in that car absolutely gorgeous
I’m so fückin’ old, my first car was a $750 ‘69 Roadrunner. So I’m not farting in yer face when I tell you that this particular GTO project is the best one I’ve ever seen. It is “true” to the original Pontiac design ethos, and somehow managed to make those wheels look like a real life Cartoons drawing. Dick would have approved.
Just the little trim details that no one would notice; that is truly what makes this car. For the ultimate enthusiast, this was made with so much love and attention. Absolutely killer build.
Had to rewatch...I am still mesmerized by every square inch of that interior...details werent skipped esp the steering wheel.
Gotta be the nicest custom interior Ive ever seen ! Tasteful, classy yet still looks GTO to a point. Wow.
You gotta love a 67 GTO the best model year of all GTO's
I think this build was at Sema last year. One of my favorite restomods / pro-touring builds ever. I love it. Definitely a show stopper.
That’s a gorgeous car and one of the most iconic American muscle car bodies of all time and the color is amazing
This is DEFINITELY in my 'top 5' of all of the cars/trucks you've featured on your channel. It's absolutely stunning inside and out, makes all of the sounds you want to hear, and is just the nicest GTO I've ever seen. What a treat. Thanks for making this feature happen.
That car is perfect. And that weight comes from that interior. So plush and luxurious. Probably feels like a Bentley inside
Such builds may not be your cup of tea - but goddamn, you gotta respect the insane craftsmanship of all people involved. Just wow! 😲😎🤘
27:15 Steve's reaction to hearing the Mustang - floor it! Love it
Holy Crap - That’s a Monster. Looks and sounds amazing. Love to see Pontiac’s but would love to see more Pontiac power but this car is amazing amazing build.
This is by far the most beautiful GTO Restomods I have ever seen. Until 2 years ago I had a Marine Turqois 1966er GTO with a Butlter 503 engine. I miss it
The GNX they recently had on here was right there with it.
This is the most beautiful GTO I've ever seen (inside and out)! The interior is absolutely exquisite!
Absolutely beautiful and tastefully done GTO. Kevin went all the way without going too far (imo). I can’t think of a more passionate well deserving owner to highlight. Awesome video guys!
It costs a million because somebody put that price tag on it. It is „worth“ a million if somebody actually pays it. Bad ass car though.
The usual bragging figure.
My absolute favorite Car, "67" Goat with a 4 speed or whatever you want to give me ! LOLOLOLOL ! ✝️🙏❤️❤️❤️ I've never seen a more Beautiful GTO , that's for sure !
This car is the best car I've seen yet on this show..Sick design
Top speed 215mph, possibly 🤩
I absolutely love the 1967 Pontiac GTO. Could have fooled me on the exterior color, as it looks almost identical to the factory Montreux Blue. Much respect to the design and execution here. Love the wheels. Perfect proportions. Stance is just right. All the fine details...chef's kiss. The engine is a bit disappointing, as I would love to see a Butler Performance engine in there as opposed to just another blown LS. I would also prefer an natural brown leather as well, as I think it would complement the blue exterior much better. But again, much respect to the owner and the builder on this car. Just sharing what I would have done differently.
This man has one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen on video! This man knows his jewel
Defiantly one of your top tier rides on the channel, holy smokes!! I love everything about this build except that roof console, it just looks too modern for that car. The color, the wheels and the redlines are perfect! Thanks for sharing!
This is the nicest GTO I’ve ever seen this man is a BOSS
First 30 sec had me hooked. You've showcased some beautiful cars but this one....OMG! this things ticks all the boxes and kicks heads doing it. Well done to all involved!
It’s crazy how entertaining you can be while keeping it real.
Satan
@@CZ-kz7ug What?!
Steve just raised the pro-touring build bar!!!
This is without a doubt the coolest GTO I’ve ever seen, and might very well be the coolest CAR I’ve ever seen. Absolutely love it and the GTO is one of my dream cars. Well done.👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
4:17 ... In my opinion, this car completely speaks for itself! It looks A-MAZING!
Absolutely love the channel man!!! This car is spectacular in every way.
Straight 🔥🔥🔥 Supercharged GTO with the red lines 💪
🔥👍
That is a SUPPER BAD ASS 67 GTO VERY CLASSY BUILD and it's BEAUTIFUL love how he talked and explained all the different parts and machining that was ENVOLED LOT'S and LOT'S of MONEY SOUTHERN YELL IS HELL YELL.
Все парни , которые потратили свое время, силы, деньги на этот проект прожили жизнь не зря ! Это самое идеально сделанное 67 GTO которое я когда либо видел .. всем по Оскару !!!
The interior roof console is impressive I love it!
BADASSERY . Ya there's always someone faster, but what you have accomplished here is just bewilderment. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. MY ALL TIME FAV 67 GTO. IM A ragtop guy . But hey ! Lost for further words. Congratulations.
Love it! Had a black on black 66 gto with Pontiac 400 and muncie rockrusher 4 speed and with 525 ftlb tq to ground it was awesome lol I couldn't imagine 1000 😳 and BTW that Mustang had nothing on the GTO! Just plain sweeeeet
Sick car Steve. God bless your son for his service I’ll be praying he returns home safely. Gotta love a 🐐 they were the first for sure!
One of the best, top class work on this car.
When I was about 14, and started geeking out over cars, it was the 80s and modern cars were absolute garbage. I fell in love with muscle cars. I read every muscle car magazine I could get my sweaty hands on and the 66-67 GTO was, without question, the GOAT (Pun intended). I hung every photo of a GTO I could find on my bedroom wall. I drew GTOs in every school notebook. I studied the lines of the face and profile obsessively. It was, and still is to me, automotive perfection. There is only one 2 door sedan that can hold a candle to the second gen GTO and that’s the second gen Dodge Charger. Until today, I wasn’t sure which one wins at the end of the world. This car answers that question. I watch a lot of car videos but rarely does anything inspire like this absolute work of art. I often dream of what I’d own if I won the billion dollar lottery. It would be this car. Period. Game over. There is not an Italian exotic or bespoke hypercar that does it better than this incredible icon reworked with the love and passion only a gear head, muscle car fanatic could truly appreciate. Rogan’s Nova and his Vette opened new frontiers for my dreamer’s heart. This GTO connected that to the pure, innocent, unmolested adoration of a teenage, American boy who wanted to shred tires and wake up the neighbors with his 4 wheeled, fire breathing dragon.
Yes. Definitely top tier A1, top level hot rod right here.
My dads friend had a 69 gto, used to call it the goat.
Said he never lost a race in that car. When I showed him the sn95 I bought he said "oh yeah I remember those back in the day, I'd eat those and the fox bodies up no problem, not even a chance."
so much work put into that. it would make me nervous to drive it... but man he gets right on it dont he?! sheesh. mad respect brother!
Pure art, in every detail. A real treat to see.
Absolutely beautiful work of art! Only complaint about watching some of your videos Sean, is that out here in Colorado I’ll likely never see these cars cruising the local streets 😉
Awesome machine. Really love that tire/ wheel combo.
Can't get enough of the Color....... 😍😍😍😍
Its awesome...😊
That car literally moved me to tears 😮😢
I love listening to these guy talk about how they built a car, then start listing off all the companies that had actually built the car.
If a Ford guy at heart, but 66'67' GTOs are my favorite. This one was in my dreams last night! Lol
I was never a Fan of the Stacked Light 67 GTO. But that car is Perfect...
@4:39 I noticed the left trunk molding does not align. For a million dollars 😀 Beautiful Car
Beauty, luv that steering wheel. Its the little things for me!
I’ve been waiting on this car to show up this channel. Love it🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wonderful build. Even though the car's quarter panels can tolerate larger diameter wheels, the aesthetics are better with a smaller size. Thanks Shawn.
Love and will continue watching your videos
But these billion dollar price tags are funny.
😂😂😂
Awesome piece of art, engineering inside and out.
Best interior I have ever seen.....glorious!
I am amazed!! Still looks proper GTO just way way nicer.
Dual consoles are just incredible. Dash is a work of art.
A lot of love in that build. What a perfect muscle car.
You know what looks good. That Ferrari Red and Blue look Dynamite!!
GTOs are never my preference and over exposed BUT this is a well executed car especially the stance, the color of the interior, supercharger and paint. It gets me vote. You continue to show the bad-ass shtuff.
Looking at this Machine just makes me want to cry. What a beauty-beast. Wow!!
Amazing workmanship. Beautiful looking car. Congratulations to the owner. Nice if can afford it. Nick Melbourne Australia
That car build is absolutely amazing!
Great work done 😎😎
I should have never sold my '66 GTO... I had a built 428, making 600 HP and it was a blast.
64 was a little different than 65-67 body style. I agree that this is the best GTO. Sick car. Love the skinny red walls. God what an engine. Love everything. Jesus fast ❤🧡💚💜🤑😎
Steve is one of the good ones, love that dude. Stunning car for sure 👍🏼
This is one of the most perfectly tasteful builds I've ever seen.
Beautiful car! This is what happens when you trust the vision of a great designer like Sean.
What an absolutely gorgeous example of American automotive history....woah.
Edit: Man, this car is how I define perfecting style.
Love the video. Have a C7 with 13,000 miles. Stage 4 cam, titanium rod, Kook long tube header, MSD intake, 360 degree rocker roller, ZR1 cat back system, headers wrapped, 7 speed manual, forest green. I want to Pro charger for it.
An absolutely beautiful car. I love the GTO. Great job.
Awesome shawn.......... Greetings from india🇮🇳🤠🤠🤩🤩🙌🤘🏻
That mustang got em
i saw that.. and the Mustang saved $960,000 😂
@@STRAIGHTPand he also looks like every other mustang out there
@@cbrobinson10 True ✅
That Mustang also had a 2 school bus jump on him........I'd like to see them go heads up!
@@MikeRobersonDaddyDoeBuckswould be even more embarrassing....
What a beautiful vehicle Gto love the build ❤❤😎👍🙏🎵🎵🎵🎶
That one is really special! Perfected inside and out! 🤩
That brushed Nickel trim on that GoAT is what makes this car pop! That interior is by far the sickest I’ve ever seen. The color match on the interior and engine are so money. The only thing I didn’t care about was the wheels those HRE he had on it at the shop looked way better. But I would have went with some sick as custom nickel plated Forgelines lol. I’m also surprised it didn’t have a crazy sound system. I definitely would have made it to Nelson racing engines and let him build a 2500-3000hp big whipple fire breather now that would have smoked the dog shit out of that junk Mach 1 shit stang 😂.
Sweet. That Infrared is a smoker, too 🔥🔥🔥
Now THIS is how you enjoy the car that you've been spending hundreds of hours on & god knows the prices for all the hard work. Those 'show' cars which get pushed from one show to another look nice but when you ask the driver/owner of the car whats it like to drive with 1200bhp & they reply with "I've no idea, we've never taken it out on the roads, it's more of a show car" IT'S A CAR, GO DRIVE IT!!!
Super nice shaun 👍 quite a build man thanks for the content
This is a clean and powerful build
I love how he pounds on the car even though it's worth a ton of $$. This is by far my favorite car yet!
10 out of 10. Rock on AutotopiaLA
