A fun little fact about “The Hall of Justice” for the Justice League, it was modeled after Cincinnati’s Union Terminal. It is currently a museum and still functions as a train terminal. It’s a beautiful building on the inside. So, if you plan a trip to Cincinnati and/or Kings Island check it out if you have free time.
This is a pretty accurate portrayal of what visiting our parks in the peak season is like... good rides but busy with slow operations! Glad you made the most of it, though!
that road runner coaster was the only non-water ride I went on more than once whenever we went to the gold coast for the theme parks. I'm a bit braver now but not by that much! there was a green hanging coaster somewhere nearby (I think, it might have been in dreamworld) that my younger cousin convinced me to go on and I screamed the whole time because I hated not being on top of the rails. that log flume, on the other hand, never had a line when we were there so we went on it more than once to cool off.
Great video! Im happy to see you got to ride DC Rivals Hypercoaster! Now you can put it in your top 50 credits lists from now on! The other coasters looked fun too! DreamWorld sounds like a good park when you make a video for it.
We call those dragons in Australia too, they’re called Water Dragons! I’m glad you enjoyed DC Rivals, was a bit nervous you wouldn’t get to ride it because of Movie World’s “no coasters in the rain” policy since I live nearby and January this year was soaking wet and humid. As a local I straight up don’t visit during school holidays because of the operations though. Something is seriously up with the management of that park at the moment, never seem to run two trains. Hopefully it will change when they open the new Wizard of Oz land.
I agree that Green Lantern is underrated, Road Runner had crazy laterals, DC Rivals backwards is terrifying, love seeing more Americans thinking australia is backwards stuff, plus I was there like 10 days after you. Also, why did we waste our time on Doomsday Destroyer? It took 10 full minutes to load and was less thrilling than a standard playground swing, at least it was shorter than Wild West Falls standby (40min) I’m going to put my own video out on my time there as soon as I can finish editing.
Had really bad luck at this park, but at least DC Rivals was open and really good. Wild West Falls was my next favorite ride there because none of the other coasters were open.
Steel hog and it's clones have always been amazing rides. Top 50s for me. I need to get on dc rivals so bad lol. One of these days hopefully. Breaking 400 coasters this year. All US ones.
I love this ride to death, it’s very special to me and I just can’t say enough about it. And well done, you made it to the land of Kangaroos. Also, was the ibis taking a crap? That outro was also very funny.
I don’t know why it’s TK Maxx in Australia but, presumably it’s for a similar reason to here in the UK where an existing chain retailer, TJ Hughes, claimed brand infringement when TJ Maxx entered the scene. Driving on the left is eminently sensible for two reasons: 1. most people are right handed, so steering control is in the dominant hand for most people (bearing in mind that, historically, most people outside the US drove a “stick shift”; 2. junctions and roundabouts (rotaries) are approached clockwise. There is folklore that we rode horses on the left to keep our right hands free to wield a sword, but that’s clearly apocryphal … if you’re planning to murder someone with a sword, you’re probably not the kind of person who’s going to follow the rules of the road.
I drive stick and i prefer having the gearstick in my dominant hand. Steering is on a more controlled plane and requires less dexterity. I live grew up in and still work in the US roundabout capital- Carmel, Indiana. I love roundabouts:). I'm not seeing how a clockwise roundabout is better. We run our anti-clockwise due to being on the opposite side of the road, and i believe they function the same in either direction. I'm interested what the benefit is of running clockwise.
I rode DC Rivals for the first time last Saturday (Feb 3rd) and it was absolutely insane. Superman Escape was intense especially with that hydraulic launch but its over before you know it and Green Lantern is good but it's overshadowed by Superman and Rivals.
As a broke USA girlie who once adored the wizard of oz, I am SO SAD we don’t have an incoming Wizard of Oz themed section of a park coming that’s within reach of me!
Fun Fact: Flash - Speed Force was actually moved from Wet’n’Wild Water World! (Yes, both these parks alongside SeaWorld Australia are owned by the same company)
What made you go to the theme parks during school holidays, or was that the only time you could make the trip down under? I remember the queues at Dreamworld in the 80s and 90s during Xmas holidays were horrible, but the water rides at least cooled you off during the oppressive heat!
It’s crazy they charge $30 for the backwards seat given the number of times the train goes out with those seats empty. Drop the price a bit and they could fill it every time.
I get it that it is Warner Bros and all , but it is kind of strange from my perspective seeing Beetlejuice and Scooby Doo (Universal) with the Looney Toons (Six Flags).

No proper public transport out to Movie World or Dream World. Maybe one day they'll stretch the G-Link out there but for now it's cars, taxis, or dodgy buses. (You can get a ferry to Sea World -- it's a tourist ferry and not a proper commuter service but if you're a tourist then it's a good idea)

That would be fun and interesting to watch!
Top 20, impressive!
Was awesome getting to ride Australia’s best - DC Rivals with you 🙌🏼🤩
The editing in this video is so good 👏🏼
You did a great job as co-host for the day!

That log flume is giving the water version of Expedition Everest vibes
I can see that
DC Rivals looks epic!! Would love to ride it one day!!
Ibises are often referred to as bin chickens because they are often found hanging around bins.
Im impressed by the theming here, especially during the parade. Excited for the future of MovieWorld Gold Coast
Great to see you down under, Chris, and I enjoyed hearing your reaction to DC Rivals!
(P.S. I’d‘ve gotten on that log ride!)
We could have if we really wanted to especially on the 2nd day

The opening of this video had me dead laughing lol

Arkham Asylum was my very first coaster! Back in the first year it opened, when it was still The Lethal Weapon Ride
Great to hear DC Rivals lives up to the hype! I can't wait to make it down there one day!
They have TK Maxx in Edinburgh too I saw that when I went overseas last year
0:01 I love this twist on the GPS Gag from the Six Flags America video

Coasters in Australia don’t go upside down, they go right side up
Best part of the vid was the 1st 10 seconds 😂
DC Rivals and Superman are amazing!
the start reminds me of the six flags america start
I parodied my own intro

Tell your friend that the American Justice League dark rides suck he's not missing anything
I’ve ridden both, the US version is heaps better.. so if you don’t like your version you’d really hate ours 🤣
Give six flags a little credit for trying
If you want to get some good footage of DC Rivals, there’s this walkway that goes from the car park to Topgolf that goes under the ride.
Yeah but that pathway was closed off
7:34 this flat ride actually made it into a game called parkitect which is essentially rct 2.5

Accurate. Just with fewer coasters for now
El Locos are so fun, I don’t know why more parks haven’t gotten them. I’m sure they’re cost effective
Green Lantern in particular is incredibly unreliable- that may have something to do with it. Shame as it's quite a fun coaster
I didn’t know that Michael Keaton was down there in the parade! Warner Bros! Warner Bros! Warner Bros!

Saw this and clicked faster than Maxx Force’s launch
DC Rivals solved the problem of Mack's weak launches by removing the launch. 🤔
Fun Fact: Flash - Speed Force was actually moved from Wet’n’Wild Water World! (Yes, both these parks alongside SeaWorld Australia are owned by the same company)
The nickname for the Ibis is Bin Chicken 😊
Welcome to Australia i've never been but I hope you have a good time
I don't actually rank my bucket list, but DC Rivals is very very high on it. I just wish we got a Mack hyper in the states.
Yessss early again! Can’t wait to watch this!
Green lantern in any way causes PTSD

I would be nervous to come to the parks outside the main season because of ride closures. Id rather wait longer and have everything open
What was the wait times you did for entering the park, DC rivals, and green lateen
Getting in was quick. Dc rivals the first time was like 45 mins. Green lantern over an hour i think
Fantastic 😊😊😊😊
Those qsc ad s12s are beauts
Ibis is also known as the bin chicken
It was a good ride on DC with you haha.
ok
No skip the lines?? If only six flags had this theming level for their rides but they have six flags ops lmao
They did have fast track but it was kinda expensive and with 4 coasters we figured we could do without it
DC Rivals, Better then Superman at Six Flags New England?
Mang gotta support them supports
Do you have a higher opinion of Mack after riding DC Rivals and Helix?
Looks cool and a lot of fun. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s crazy they charge $30 for the backwards seat given the number of times the train goes out with those seats empty. Drop the price a bit and they could fill it every time.
Also you wait for leviathan backwards, i do prefer dc backwards but leviathan is beyond unpredictable backwards
Would a skibidi toilet rollercoaster be top 1
Why do they call it “Hollywood of the Gold Coast” when WB isn’t actually in Hollywood? They’re in Burbank.
Sadly us Americans lost Kids’ WB! in 2008. Australian lost theirs in 2019.
I get it that it is Warner Bros and all , but it is kind of strange from my perspective seeing Beetlejuice and Scooby Doo (Universal) with the Looney Toons (Six Flags).
