- My final day in Australia was an epic one - this was my experience at Dreamworld and the insane spinning back car ride on Steel Taipan.

Their pattern of investments recently seems to be really promising. Steel Taipan in 2021 and a nice Vekoma Family Thrill coaster are some really nice adds.

Jealous about you getting to ride the spinning car - I visited on a Thursday and didn't know they don't run it on weekdays. Still really liked the ride, third best I got to experience in Australia/NZ.

Blue Fire clone with extreme spinner trains actually sounds like it could be a great idea, and given Canada's Wünderbar could use both a launcher and a spinner, maybe they can put one where the SLC and Volare are.

Yeah, that Moto Coaster restraint system does not look intuitive. Thankfully they do have that sample seat out front to give you the opportunity to learn before you try to ride the coaster for real.

The massive spiral walkway for Gold Coaster was because it used to be called the Cyclone… at the time, it was their newest ride big ride, and everyone wanted to ride it… it was rebranded to Gold Coaster. Unsure why but that’s some facts for ya

The area around Ohio has Pennsylvania with almost 13 million people, Illinois 12.5 million, Ohio almost 12 million, Michigan 10 million and Indiana almost 7 million. Those states comprise a MUCH smaller land area than the Australian continent and therefore have a MUCH greater and higher population density. Does that help explain why Ohio has parks like cedar point and kings island and Australia doesn't?

That motocoaster is by far the most disappointing coaster i've ridden. It looked like it would be a fun one like the Jet Rescue coaster at Sea World when watching it but it felt so pointless and slow when I rode it. at least you seemed to think it was bearable :)
Apparently with the vegemite you have to do a light spread on toast. I mean a really light spread like half a knife.

First of all, good choice of car music (coming from a Queen fan).
Second of all, I had 4 pieces of Vegemite toast for breakfast this morning so I can get more “American In Australia” moments when watching.
Third, I got the infamous Thunder River Rapids credit as a child
Fourth, Gold Coaster was my first looping coaster, but all I remember is being terrified, the queue being long and slow, and the exit spiral.
Fifth, I somehow enjoyed Escape From Madagascar (now Kenny’s Forrest Flyer) and the original Wiggles world (I was like 7, Ok?)
Sixth, I was glad to get the sidecar when I went on Motocoaster
Seventh, why did Zamperla give me their calculations for Top Thrill 2 as physics homework?
And Eight, I reckon I could get more of those Roos to subscribe to me
Also Ninth: I’ve been to the outback and it’s great! Uluṟu, the Olgas and Kings Canyon are stunning, there are many great people, a lot of indigenous cultures to learn (over 60000 years and hundreds of languages), a town where half the population live underground and the wackiest place I’ve ever seen, Daly Waters

If my family had enough money though, we could at least just had to Branson Missouri, and maybe with tons of money we could make him closer trip out of that through Glenwood springs, Denver, and Kansas City, then Branson Missouri with Silver Dollar City...

@@notcaleb64That's great! I feel you on the money thing. I was fortunate enough to be able to work and save some money in 2015 while staying with my dad for awhile. I took a cross country road trip from RI to Yellowstone and glacier national parks. Since I love parks I stopped at a bunch of amusement and water parks on the way out and back. After visiting glacier national park I went to Silverwood. Then I circled back through Colorado and went to Glenwood canyon. The rides weren't great. I think that is the only alpine coaster I have ever been on. They do have a cave you can walk through. They have added 2 pretty nice looking thrill rides since I have been there in the last couple of years. That is the only time I have driven across/through the Colorado Rockies. The scenery was amazing. I love mountains! I would love to get back one day if I ever have another opportunity.
I've never had straight up Vegemite, but my friends have forced me to have a snack with it, it was one of the most vile things I've ever had on this face of the earth, and I've tasted a lot... So........

Escape from krypton will probably be better just because its faster
Basically the same but ToT had a launch tunnel which may have been cool
I’ve done both, unfortunately when they decided to turn the trains around, SFMM upgraded the launch system & Dreamworld didn’t. This resulted in ToT only reaching just above the half way point up the tower. Ultimately ToT just died in the end, too much maintenance costs.

The Detroit Zoo has free-roaming kangaroos and wallabies. They encourage visitors to see if they can jump as far as a kangaroo. It's all sorts of cute!
