I supported their Kickstarter campaign a few years ago. It's pretty good; BF tracks within 5% of DEXA, on the low end. It sucks battery life though. Thx, Barry.
I think the short answer is yes. I set up two different accounts using different emails and different phones. You stand on the scale to get the Bluetooth to Sync the phone each time. Swapped between the phones with no issues...I was originally going to say that as long as their combined weight is not more than 200kg it can support both of them...
Are you having problems with the scale connecting with the phone app? I had no issues with the initial setup and measurements. However, when I tried to use it the following day, the app went from Not Connected to Connecting, but stayed there. It never showed connected nor prompted me to pull the handles out.
I had the same experience as you. To get the best results I follow the sequence. Open the App on the phone. Then stand on the scale until the Bluetooth light stops flashing and then stand on the scale and when the weighing is stopped, pull out the handles, holding them away from my body....worked fine the multiple times I tested it this morning. Much handier if I can keep the phone in sight so I can see it happening...
"I don't know how it measures all these details" They don't. It is just an algorithmic estimate. They can only measure just a couple of data and everything else is just an algorithm (read BS!) I am not even trusting conductivity based body fat estimate. It is easily affected by your water retention and hydration levels at the moment. Also their algorithms assume average low activity person. Not tuned to athletes or high activity life style. Personally I believe $300 is expensive.
@@OldManRunner I need to lose more as well but I am cautious of RED-S. Caloric deficiency during hard marathon training cycle is opening me up to injuries and stress fractures. I think my last serious injury (Pelvic bone fracture) came during such period.
@@TolunayOrkun For me it’s beer and cheese and bread… will cut down on two of those for the next month in the run up to the marathon…no prizes for guessing which two!
@@OldManRunner well, beer is the easy one. Now between cheese and bread. I guess I would chose bread next because cheese provide protein for satiety. But then again, you might want bread for powering long runs.

Right so, I am off to buy more rechargeable batteries...!
@@OldManRunner indeed
$300 sounds reasonable for all this data... thanks Barry another interesting product and a cracking review 🫶
Cheers Bartek...I really enjoyed making this video...and playing with yet more data...
@@OldManRunner I had no idea that 'scales' could do so much stuff 💪👏
Unliike many similar scales this sadly appears to not work with FSA/HSA cards...
Thanks Barry , I have a quick question , can it support more then one person in the household?

!00% on the algorithm BS. BMI is another...one thing it's not wrong on though...I need to lose some weight...!
