The new Body Segment scale is not recording Body Composition or Heart Rate. Customer service is silent. They are avoiding my request for a return/refund for a unit that only performs one-fifth of its advertised features. I have submitted a complaint to PayPal. Is it an issue with the flimsy tethered handle? The scale only records my weight and EDA. Customer service had me troubleshooting, and it is still malfunctioning. I've had the Withings Wifi scale for ten years and have been loyal to this company. I was excited about collecting more accurate health data but am sorely disappointed.
I’m mostly concerned about withings selling your health data. But from a little research, it seems that many hardware and software issues are prevalent with withings products.
Great video Sir Orbit, this video made me an automatic subscriber.... Anyways, I saw that you have a watch... is that a withings watch also? Personally I use an apple watch ultra which measures my steps and workouts. This is also displayed in the Withings app.. would you suggest I use a different watch?
Hallo! I'm a new subscriber and really enjoy your videos! It would be interesting to see more fitness tech videos, as this looks like something you are passionate about :) i've been working on my fitness lately, and have been using nintendo switch ring-fit, and am acutally really happy with the results. Have you used Ring-fit before, or would you consider doing a video on it?
Don't bother with the Body Scan! I'm on my 2nd replacement unit, each showing different hardware faults. Support are really dragging their feet, just keep telling me it's being investigated, when they bother telling me anything! My Health+ subscription is ticking away in the meantime! I've dusted off my old Body Cardio, it still works, more reliable and far better built and more solid, new units feel like flimsy plastic. I'm about ready to dump Withings all together and look round the market at Omron and others.
@@OneCutMan After much battling with their “support” I got a full refund. They used to have very solid, high quality products, but now the quality, reliability and accuracy is terrible, and their support feels like it’s purpose is to get rid of customers. I’m never spending another penny with Withings.
@OneCutMan I seems that there was a change to their app late 2022 that caused a ton of problems. It seems to have been corrected because I'm not having any problems with my scale and blood pressure monitor
@@SeeSaw99 It’s not the app that’s failing (although that is pretty bad) it’s the scales themselves, still very hit and miss, definitely not worth the money, the quality is a shadow of what they used to produce.
@@davepanrios Your experience is obviously an outlier. I researched their scales for weeks prior to purchasing the Body+. I've use their blood pressure monitor for more than a year. The app immediately recognized the scale and setup took 2 minutes at best. Everything has worked flawlessly since setup. Their was a major app overhaul mid year 2022 that didn't go well. That has clearly since been corrected. Withings has received recognition internationally for their products. I'll trust the word of international experts over a RUclips expert.
Great job! This device was just released in the USA. I’m still straddling the fence as to whether I need this, especially for the price.
Objective review or paid ad? :)
The shirt you're wearing at the start of the video looks amazing.
Was able to buy it for €299.99 because of a 25% discount from my work benefits. Am excited to try it when it comes in the mail.
u've never even had a job in ur life

Why did you sensor your bare feet?

I also agree with you on the color. Black just doesn’t fit our bathroom decor; hope they’ll release one in white.
The white ones are out now (at least in Europe). I just bought one with a black Friday discount
just paint ur bathroom black
would love to see more of this style and new tech
No feet pic?

Do you still have problems with your scale? I hesitate to buy it because I saw a lot of bad reviews

It can't consistently measure your weight though... It adds or remove 500 grams from one minute to the other.
THIS SCALE ONLY MEASURES WEIGHT - PERIOD.
THIS SCALE DOES NOT DO EKG. IF YOU WANT TO DETECT A-FIB GET AN APPLE WATCH.
it's uh·rith·mee·uh
Dont work - no support
