I like a review of the product but for this type of thing I would prefer a video studying the accuracy of the device. They've been making bracelets to measure sleep for years now and the apps are awesome showing you all sorts of numbers but they are not accurate at all.

Keep in mind, with these type of scales you need to follow pre-reading directions and make sure you are properly hydrated or your readings will be way off.
The $25 scale from Wyze tracks bmi, heart rate, muscle Mass, lean body mass, fat percentage, protein, bone mass, bmr, water percentage, visceral fat, and metabolic age with an app. This thing is $400 😨😟😟

7:27 - boiiii if your standing heart rate is 97 than boiiiii you need to see a doctor. Thats high AF. Should be around 70 - 75 - max 80 (thats already too high for your age anyways)🤷♂

Both. I'd imagine personal care items like this, smart mattresses, certain wearables etc they keep by virtue of what they do or what they cost. Some items get returned because they are basically prototypes at various proximity to production models. There is the flip side of that where reviewers get custom editions, like Dave2D getting a one-off colour way or Unbox Therapy getting a one of a kind puzzle box. Those I imagine they get to keep. Some items seem to come from a pool of 'press units', where they get distributed to reviewers who request them, like library books. I've seen that a lot with bikes in particular. All that said, a lot of reviewers buy retail units. Some will keep the items, some will return them and others sell them on, occasionally giving their followers first pick. Giveaways are also a thing. Anyway, if you are interested in getting good deals, see if the reviewers you watch have market places or private pages they offload to.

I have withings scale and have found it quite useful. There are a lot of information that can help understand how your body fluctuates throughout the day in terms of water retention, body fat percentage changes (higher in morning and lower st night when your body is hydrated). I have also found it useful to understand relationships between fat and muscle as this is where people get confused about healthy weight gain (muscle mass increases) and unhealthy weight gain (fat percentage increases) Helped me move from 38% to 13% and allowed to rationally track and understand my body changes and progress.
Lol, within 10 minutes of me finally getting weighed, you post this! It's quite cool for a scale, but as always, app dependency puts a fly in the ointment. Still, if its legit, I can't deny the data is appealing. Maybe one day after I win the lottery.
