  • Curious what's going inside the minds of our robot companions?
In this funny and world's first 'robots only' TEDx talk, you get to see a glimpse of what robots are really thinking of us, humans.
Zora & Pepper are two robots from Zora Robotics, a Belgian pioneer in healthcare robots.
Fabrice Goffin and Tommy Deblieck, the company founders have known each other for years, but it was in a dark bar in Qatar, during a heated discussion on Star Wars, that all pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
Their love of awesome robots and their heart for the healthcare and hospitality industry combined, gave them the idea to develop a helpful R2D2 that increases the comfort of people.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

This is a rewritten conversation, they are more players than intelligent and smart robots.
Do you understand? Before every act we do, we produce a question for example if I am hungry I ask in my head what will I eat? Or I wait, as I ask for an idea and then I get an idea of what to eat, so it's either in speaking or conducting a conversations, before each sentence, we ask for an idea of exactly how to express ourselves.
Now, the source of our ideas is God. Robots do not have a source of ideas that can offer ideas for any case, ie the robots are programmed to respond to predefined cases, to create an algorithm that gives ideas, you need an algorithm that knows how to find a logical connection - an algorithm that can learn, and to learn correctly, he must feel like a healthy person. [What causes pain, what causes lossnes, what causes infection, what causes boredom, what causes sadness, what causes happiness, etc.] This algorithm should be in almost constant learning, and is limited to giving ideas only according to facts you already know in advance. But our God knows how to give new ideas even about things we did not know in advance, "maybe you will try this and maybe it will be that way", but from life experience this extra ability has only done harm.

You can set the speed at which the engine plays the generated audio file as well as as the pitch at which it's generated.
They definitely reduced the speed in this clip, not 100% sure about pitch...

I think this is silly. Why robots have to communicate the way humans do? They could just transfer data to each other via wireless.

Showcasing their ability to respond to voice and hold a decent conversation. It’s really important considering these robots are made to be in social settings (usually classrooms and workplaces).
