There are also a couple issues with the M4 conversation but honestly it's wild how well Japanese developers do guns in media considering most will go the majority of their lives without ever touching a real firearm

Hatred You must collect the enemies' dog tags throughout the entire game on each difficulty. Hold up an enemy from behind, aim your gun at their head or groin and they should drop their dog tags. If they refuse, fire a lethal shot at their limbs then they'll give you their dog tags. Btw you must be facing in front of the enemy in order to attempt to get the dog tags.
Funny that Kojima took the littering critique to heart and made each snake further on in MGS games be safe smoking. MGS3, snake stamps out his cigars each time, and old snake keeps a cigarette holder handy for the same smoke from prologue to end. Man, I always imagine what it'd be like to revisit the Big Shell with say MGS3's or MGS4's game engine. Being able to explore the entire thing and take advantage of things like climbing around struts, climbing down and swimming around the plant. I always felt like exploration wise it could've used more, especially around the 2nd core, but it makes sense considering the PS2's hardware limitations.
MGS1,2 and 3 run on the same engine. POPS,POPS+ and Peacewalker run on a version bases on MGO1's branch of MGS3's version of the engine. 4 runs on a heavily modified version.
I know it's just david hayter reading off a thick VA script, but all of these blurbs about weapons really make me respect snake as a character more. Even if this is more 4th wall type stuff, the thought of snake having an encyclopedic knowledge of weapons and their functions and performance is still amazing.

I never found it in the first runthrough but I heard a rumor that if you beat the game before and do the NG+ you can find it on top of the tower on top of the bridge, where you get the Thermal Goggles.
1) XBOX 360 & PS3 2) Yes (USP Suppressor) on NG but Thermal Googles will be there on NG+ BUT if you don’t pick it up there, you’ll find it on the top left section of Hold No.1 during the Commandant’s speech. You have to hang on a wire & shimmy all the way to the left to find the goggles

I know this game is old, but I just recently got the metal gear collection and I'm curious, why do I see sometimes in people's videos on msg2 people aim down the gun sights like mgs3 but in 2 I can't do it I only aim using the laser. Am I too early? Is it a case of keep playing or is it weapon specific or attachment specific? Any help is appreciated.

Took 30 min to get a cold on MGS3 on swamps, under snow, half naked with rain. Only 5 min under the rain in MGS2.

I know this game is old, but I just recently got the metal gear collection and I'm curious, why do I see sometimes in people's videos on msg2 people aim down the gun sights like mgs3 but in 2 I can't do it I only aim using the laser. Am I too early? Is it a case of keep playing or is it weapon specific or attachment specific? Any help is appreciated.
