Love how Pong waited 26 years for the Master Collection to be released just to play the game on an emulator
the hype gets you to play shit. multiple times a remake of a game came out and i used that opportunity to play the rest of the series and the original before just playing the remake.
the master collection came out last year, i dont think it's about hype, even because in the master collection there also are the prequel and sequel of mgs, i dont think it's about the remake that is coming
@@neepha7324the master collection isn't remakes tho, they are just basic (and boy I mean basic) ports of the games. So you're essentially playing the same exact games as the originals.

I love how as a child I couldn't figure out the whole, "the frequency is on the back of the CD case" thing. Dude hands you a CD in the cutscene and I was just like, 7 year old screeching "hOw Do I lOoK aT yOu?!" Meanwhile... figured out the, "punch the ninja" thing immediately. Things just make sense at the strangest times.

I played Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the Gamecube, where he just says it's on the back of "the package". Cue an hour of me inspect the in-game box models and second-guesssing my memory until I admitted defeat and looked it up online.

Same kind of situation with Nastasha, the Russian weapons expert the game literally never tells you about. Her accent is a bit more obviously bullshit though.
fun fact, if you equip the cd baker gives you after he says her number is on the case, it will add her number to the codec memory. So you dont really need the actual cd case, but both work. Kojima with the next level immersion.

In the game they are invisible. But yea, no radar means a mine detector is next to useless.

If you're right on Meryl's ass when she runs for the bathroom, she'll be in the middle of changing when you enter (so she lacks pants). Pretty sure that was in both the OG and the remake but it has been 20+ years since I played it.

Fun fact, when I first played Metal Gear Solid, I think I was about 8 or 9 years old, and when I fought Grey Fox, I ended up winning by using Chaff Grenades then shooting him.
I went through my entire supply and barely won by the skin of my teeth, but since I WON, I assumed that was HOW I was meant to win, so I ended up fighting him until I was about 14 in that precise way, until I was at a friend’s house and they punched him.
And I was like “THAT WORKS!?”
