A fun glitch/exploit for the Fear fight is to use the "Fake Death Pill" and after he walks over and turns around to gloat you can use the "Revival Pill" and stalk up behind him with the D-Pad and if you equip the Torch and crouch while close enough he will catch fire. He apparently isn't coded to react to being on fire so he just stands there and takes it without getting alerted. Not tied to any trophies or anything but it's always funny to do.
Something similar if you want to get the camo from him for non lethal, instead of torch after fake death pill, just light him up with the AK. It for some reason does stamina damage and doesn't consider it killing him
that intro gave me the motivation to platinum every souls game and armored core 6 also the sorrow in MGS3 will summon every enemy u killed so using the tranq pistol will help make the section shorter
Hate to break it to you but Souls Games aren't even close to the hardest games known to man. Ninja Gaiden isn't quite the top either but it's a well known series to start witht that's much closer than souls if your goal is ultimate challenge. Crypt of the Necrodancer probably has the single hardest platinum of all albeit do to pretty much just one trophy
Respect, i am a huge mgs Fan and got plenty of these platinums, but these 3 i probably never get because of the rank trophies.i just have no time or patience anymore trying these. The tighter limits and controls also ain't helping. So respect for someone just starting this series getting these 3, respect🎉
This is my 2nd favorite game series. So many deep and/or nuance mechanics and moments that are amazing to see firsthand. The torture scene in the first game is torturing YOU, they even tell you not to cheat or “they’ll know”

As someone who’s one and only MGS game I played being MGS4, and wanting to get the plat for it, I’m curious to see the process of getting plats for MGS games
I haven't played survive, but the story is about you trying to stop a loop that happened in Survive and you haven't been transported to a different realm but the future around like the 22nd century, how you got there was you were in the MSF as a captain and big boss left and then this blue wormhole came in and started sucking things up or floating things up to it including you and some soldiers you tried to save a soldier but he got suck up by the wormhole and you were in the sky and the wormhole closes and you fall to your death and dump your casket to the ocean. But you were revied by a man named Goodluck, and he put you into the place and after that you try to survive out in the place now you make a base so you can stay at make food and boiled water and recruits like nurses, soldiers and more you got to fight zombie type people they called wanderer's there are more of them later on and you find a kid name Chris he doesn't know how he got here but he's important character also you find an AI pod that helps you with your base also important. So after you do things, you find a way to somehow get out after the first try it didn't go so well and you learn a creature its name is like the king of dust or something like that and it big monster thing now after doing more things you find out that your not in a different world but the future as i said at the beginning and the big monster he is the reason for this. You see this monster had been like eating or something and when there's like nothing more, it travels back in time to do it again. It's a loop thats happening now you make a plan to kill it and you find the Metal Gear to use now its not in good condition to like use it use it but the weapons on it works so you get it set a trap and you have enough to fully open the wormhole back home know you and the people you recruited decide who will go and Chris is the one who will go back home with information about the place there was a twist Chris is Goodluck, you now started the trap and have to defend the it from the wanderers and you did and you use the Metal Gear weapons on it but it hasn't died the reason was it never has the concept of death and the AI pod decided to go in the monster and give the concept of death and you try it again and it worked you killed the monster and you celebrated the death of the monster and the AI pod is stil survive and you hope that the loop have been broken. After the credits have been roled you here Goodluck/Chris getting scolded about the MSF wormhole not being there and Goodluck/Chris knows the loop is broken and now has to find a way to get the player out. This has the chances to be all canon because of the post credits having no wormholes in the MSF mother base so and the wormhole happen a little ater big boss had left so they could have seen it but in all of MGS games there's no mention of anything of wormholes. But i got this story from a person playing every Metal Gear game for the first time.
Great video, by far my favorite game to Plat was MGS2. Love the story, love Raiden and Snake in that game and the whole message despite how convoluted it may seem lol.

I’ve done MG1/2, MGS1 and I’m I’m currently doing 3 at the minute. I’ve got one trophy left for 2, and it’s the Big Boss one, I’m currently on my third save after the Fatman fight, I’m just putting off going back to it haha 😛 amazing job man
If you haven't got it already I wish you luck! I had to take a break from it after the Fatman fight, it took me about 6 hours of grinding just to get through that fight alone!

*Spoiler warning* Info wrong in the explanation Liquid gives before the fist fight: "FoxDie" was created to allow Solid Snake to be the carrier of a virus that targets specific people based on their DNA - the Sec of Defence altered it and forced Naomi to give Snake the updated virus that would (and does) kill the main FoxHound group as well as killing Solid Snake eventually. This is so the Sec of Defence can get Metal Gear Rex with no hassle and use it to allow the USA to be the dominant military force in the world. Obviously FoxDie just makes Solid Snake age quicker than normal hence the "Old Snake" in MGS4...and so on. Sorry, I've played this game till death and love the lore in it and the other mainline games.
Tbh i don’t think anyone wants a survive video (please correct me if I’m wrong) but a revengance video would be amazing as that game is incredible in such a unique way even though it is nowhere near a typical metal gear game and it’s platinum is also pretty challenging with some of the time trials requiring perfect runs
Having played them all at their releases (apart from MGS) that was 1999 for me. I’ve thought about getting the platinum on the MGS Master Collection but I’m waiting until it comes down in price, I’m not paying a high price for a game series I played and completed 20 years ago 😂

I like the PC version best because you can add a mod that lets you crouch walk like in the 3DS version.
