I normally only do videos on games I've never played before but I wanted to give this a shot. Making a remotely cohesive video out of a game this plot dense in 20ish minutes wasn't easy but if you guys like it I'll do the whole trilogy.

I was really mad that the option didn't destroy both romances, there was no consequence to asking really unless you were banking on Ashley as a romance.
Bioware was hardcore rooting for Liara being the standard love interest throughout the series, though. It really shows in ME3.

God damn I'm surprised Ashley didn't just throw herself at Shepard after the hateful way he addressed the Batarians.
To be fair, Garrus was actually a bigger racist than Ashley in ME1 if you listen closely to each of their conversations about aliens and certain companions in Shepard's party, namely Tali and Wrex, throughout the game.
I always took it as Turians in general looking down on other species. His conversations with Wrex and Tali sound like him genuinely learning about them and being like hol up these War Frogs and Space Gypsies aren't so bad after all.

Skipper is just the person in charge of a ship. Since your rank is not captain, skipper is actually a very apt term for Ashley to use. Not sure what the Systems Alliance regs say about addressing rank though, it's no doubt an informal title.

I can't get over how Pongsifu's version of Shepard looks like what Pongsifu's voice sounds like.
There's actually a reason in the lore as to why punching ignores enemy shields, it's because shields basically detect things moving at a high enough speed and then activate hence why they block weapon fire but not the butt of a gun.
Like Dune. Cool.
There's even a lore reason why they block punches in the sequel! Reaper infantry shield tech is just better.

The fact that Shepard, who is not only commander of a prototype stealth ship, the Normandy, but is also a Spectre for the council, despite not knowing what a license is, or just the sheer fact that this is an actual line of dialogue in the game.
