I’m so confused by the AB connecting bridge guard. I know it’s technically a gravity kill but I feel like every time I do that same thing either in the story or snake tales it counts as a kill. Even happen on the tanker towards the end of the server room, guard went over the rail and it counted as a kill for me
@@Cornholio174 I think it depends on the matter on how the guard falls over. The AB connecting bridge falls by cartwheel contact and in the ocean considered out of bounds. If they fall one level down and is in bounds, it may count but not 100% sure.
Not sure what area you mean, but the Prozac skip does work on the PS5. My guess is you're referring to the Shell 1-2 Connecting Bridge. The one with all the Semtex and Sensors. Unfortunately, that door is key card checked. Meaning if you attempt to clip through the door before getting a level 2 Key, you will softlock.
The last three headshots dont get counted because the encounter ends faster before their deaths are registered. The AB connecting bridge guard doesnt count either because knocking guards off railings into the ocean are not direct kills. I mean, gravity was at fault there xD 😆

@@cameronblain701 I played it casually for years before considering speed running. Afterwards it took me a few months to learn the basics and my advice is have fun doing it. It will motivate you to do better in the long term.
The first one is a timed shot to cross underneath the camera blindspot and avoid getting attacked by that guard. The second shot in deck B is to get their attention without being attacked when discovered.
That was done with the use of a trainer program developed by gogobmn. Its mainly for practicing but also has capabilities like changing the health bar name.

Killing the last three makes the guard rush encounter end faster before their deaths are counted. Tranqing them makes them despawn slower as their animation is different vs. lethal kills.
This would be way cooler if you did a play-by-play and explained what you were doing and why, like the MGS4 speedrunner guy did. This is cool as hell but the conversation just doesn't help

MGS2 Substance "V's Fix" has a built-in turbo that can be enabled. The community voted to approve its use years ago, especially for solidus' torture.

Actually this run is the MGS2 substance PC port, it's own version separate from Master Collection.
