Over sharpening is still HORRIBLE, especially in video... WE NEED an option to reduce the ULTRA SHARPENING that ruins the footage. And keep in mind that RUclips compresses and smooths things out. Another great video, as always!

In most cases people wouldn't have been able to tell which shot was made on the iPhone13 or 14 Pro Max. Most differences are visible when using the zoom lenses. Otherwise it's not worth an upgrade. Probably low-light situations will make show the better 14 Pro cam system.
This video is a great example of doing the best with what you got. I love the 48MP ProRAW images. However it’s a large file size and passing all the photos to a laptop with lighting is going to be a pain. USB-C needs to come to the iPhone next year.
The super steady or action mode is meant for really dynamic situations like running with shaking hands, not while standing still in a room. In those mentioned situations the difference is dramatic and the action mode is much much better.
No wonder the other RUclipsrs with an early iphone have not shown this comparison. The 14 PM isn’t worth it. Mine is going straight back. Took some sunset photos and the sky is so blown out it looks like a nuke has gone off and in portrait mode the subject looks like a noisey ghost. Might be fixed with updates but for now the overexposure of people on portrait modes is very bad. The 48MP is nice but we aren’t really cropping into phone pictures and they will be compressed a lot uploading them anywhere anyway. I do like the other updates but think it’s better to wait for the 15 pro if you have the 13 pro. Don’t want to keep rewarding the incremental updates model Apple has going. The buzz of the new phone will quickly wear off when there’s not really anything substantial to set it apart from last years.
I recently bought 14 pro but I found its camera little black then I exchanged it and bought 13 pro max so the camera is white as compare to 14 but I didn't like its blur and also lack 2x so I am again changing it with 14 pro
@@RennieAsh It's a marketing name for re-arrangement of one layer of their image processing which is deep fusion, but the rest of the process layer including sharpness, contrast, skin tones ect, is still the same untouched from last year with their issues found in iphone 13 series like the over sharpening & crushed shadows. Hdr is not improved for photos output this year which is non-justifiable for me.

In my country, the difference in trade-in price between two pro models that are a year apart is the same as the price difference between the 13 pro and the 14 pro.(As you might know, you can trade in your existing iPhone for credits when buying a new iPhone). So assuming you'll keep using iPhones in the future, it's just the question of paying extra 200$ either now or later. In this case, you might as well just buy the 14 pro. You should see how the prices are in your country and how sure you are you want to stick to iPhone in the future.

I watched the night walk test video from virtual Japan. Flare/glare is much more pronounced and frequent with iphone 14 pro. The clarity in low light is better than 13 pro. Colors are more saturated as well, Please confirm in your upcoming tests.Thanks.

YT renders 4K for a long time, so when you upload a movie, you can upload it as private and wait for it to turn to 4k and change to a public movie. iphone 13 have 4k 25p and 4k 60p. Correct is 25 and 50p, like 30p and 60p.
I dare say Apple did it a little better in some cases. With Samsung it seems to be some fun features that you wouldn't often use, like they didn't really flesh out that feature. At least in the 3rd gen it's a bit better than the 1st gen

Both devices use the same image processing version, smart hdr 4, so there is no wonder if we don't see any major difference between them.
One supposedly has "Photonic Engine"
What I can see is a little more noise on the 14 Pro but you also get more natural detail

I’d say 14 Pro Max is worth it if you’re okay spending 200$ extra.
