I think I’m amongst the few that prefer the heavier weight on the 13/14 Pro Max iPhones. They just feel more premium and robust.

Maybe new ultra phone next year? With even higher fps? With more ram with a larger battery, larger screen, better camera, new features and of course better chip. So you still will have the best of the best. However many people that buy the regular pro will switch to the normal iPhone 16. And Apple wants to boost the sales of the pro phones, -> they will still limit the hz but I hope they will at least make it 90 hz

The only tangible difference between 15 and 14PM is the professional camera features and the rapid USB-C transfer/external recording. Other than that no realistic difference and even action button will be a honeymoon feature that will soon lose its appeal as nearly most people will choose an "action" and stick to it long term so in effect you lose mute switch and you gain an alternative action. No big deal. Unless you keep swapping between the countless number of functions of the action button (only one is usable at a time) every few days you will get used to it as you get used to mute switch.
Rocking iPhone 12 pm I see this as an absolute win to get 15 pro max I’m expecting a shipment today can’t wait!
Still rockin a 14pm as far as camera I’m not a professional but I know enough to know what I’m doing and it’s still amazing especially the macro mode and 4k cinematic mode the dynamic island is so much better than the notch and a always on display and crash detection and satellite that the 13 pro doesn’t have don’t get me wrong I’m sure the 13 pro is still great but it falls behind imo
The problem with the camera blur on the edges is a direct consequence of the lens + big sensor combination. Samsung had the same issue with their 108MP sensor after they introduced the S20 Ultra and to this day, all their Ultra phones have some sort of issue like this one. We're at the limit of what they can do with the lens + sensor size.
No such issues in either Vivos or Oppos or Xiaomis Ultra Phones which feature industry's largest 1-inch Sensors, it isn't the problem with sensor size, it's just the laziness of Samsung!

I got the iphone 13 pro max since march 2022 and been using for at least 8 hours almost everyday work, for over a year and a half now. Battery health is at like %90 and it still runs like a beast and lasts over a day on normal use. FYI, I never tried to have the battery below %30 - %40 tho, and tried to not keep it too hot or too cold. Had a screen protector with phone case for its whole life. Had it on airplane mode when not using it for an extended amount of time, to save some battery. Never had maxed out performance settings either.
I thought it was best to never let it go below 20% battery and don't charge over 80%

After over a year and a half could've used your phone in its most effective modes and had almost no difference lol

In 3:12 part I don't know if it's just me but the dynamic range of the 13 pm I think it's s way better I mean specially the clouds and some of the cracks on the ceiling is way more visible ☹️

After lot of thinking, I happily bought 14 PM for a slightly cheaper price. I upgraded from iPhone 11 so the differences are huge for me. I didn’t find any new feature in 15pm which was important for me. I’m a regular user who don’t play any games in phone and I’m not a professional photographer or videographer, I just use my phone for regular social media apps and occasionally takes pictures. One of the main perk for me was, my iPad, AirPods have lightening and I have new lightening cables just lying around in case I needed a spare. And complaints of back glass breaking so easily and heating issues just pushed me towards 14pm which was tried and tested considering I’ll be using this phone for atleast 3-5 years.

If you still have a 13 pro and you don’t really need all those cameraman features like usbC fast transfer and the extra camera quality (which is almost negligible) keep your phone , im going from the 10 to the 11 pro

Yep , had my 14 pro max for a year and it has proven itself to be a good robust phone that has survived my clumsiness over that time , and I actually prefer the more utilitarian design of the 14 over the 15 , even the weight gives it a feeling of substance.
I’m not a C content creator but still like to take happy snaps , and I shoot in 48 mp mode all the time , and it takes nice pics , I also have the pixel 8 pro and I’ve compared pics , really not much in it , both shoot good pics generally, but I still carry the 14 every where, it’s just a good phone .

We all know the 14 Pro Max Deep Purple is the best looking + in terms of the power and camera is great too the difference can’t even been noticed the pic it do the simplicity is fu*** great! Im very glad that i have it and ill keep it until a new decent iPhone will be created! Before of the one i used my 11 pro max dark green and i loved that phone too!

My fave feature of the 15 Pros has to be the lighter titanium frame. My kids bought the mid year green 13 Pro, and I've always disliked the weight of their phone. Having held the new Pro phones in my local Apple Store, colour me impressed. I’ll definitely be upgrading to a 15 Pro next year, … just haven’t decided which one.

So any of these phones will be a massive improvement. I just don’t know which to go for. I don’t really want to pay $1200 but I want to make sure the upgrade is worth it so I can go another 5+ years.

13 Pro Max’s battery lasts up to an hour longer than 14 Pro Max’s. I would therefore not go as far as saying 14 Pro Max is better than 13 Pro Max. The only true difference is the Dynamic Island, and that was not enough of a selling point for me when it came to choosing by latest phone. I am very happy with the 13 Pro Max, and although the 15 Pro Max has some enticing new features, I will still not be going that route. Let’s see what the future holds 😊
lol the 13 pro max battery life doesn’t last an hour longer. Have you actually seen the recent battery tests on ios17? The 13 pro max has worse battery life than the 14 now. And there are way more differences between the two than just Dynamic Island.

How fun it is that opinions can vary about the dynamic island. I didnt upgrade to the 14 and 15 exactly cause of the dynamic island. I play a lot on my phone and as i tried it on the 14 pro max i just got really annoyed about that. Its so distracting and noticeably lower in the screen. Im waiting for them to remove it then i will upgrade. My 13 pro max ist still rocking solid and the upgrades on the new phones are not enough of a reason for me to switch as long as the dynamic island stays there.

And for construction, 14 Pros are indeed more solid, theres a drop test on youtube where the 15 pro gets completely smashed after multi0le drops with the camera block separating and frame bending while 14 pro is still usable. But yeah, id still get the 15 pro because its good enough in its weak points and some of its features are absolutely among the best (like the camera/video/screen/smoothness of operation)

2. Titanium is more durable overall & the back glass is cheaper to repair now so who really cares. Have fun spending $500 on back glass replacement.
@@iwill_859 the latest ios updates do seem to fix the overheating issues it had at the start. Titanium is more durable but the construction is less sturdy in its design, its also an aluminum composite, not fully titanium.
One thing I don’t like on my 13 pro is it doesn’t have action video feature but overall I love my phone.

Hell my 12 mini still holds up to today. The only things to pick at would be the poor cameras (only with digital zoom and lack of macro), slightly worse chip (which still works great to this day, just can’t run demanding games with good fps) and the battery life
A14 inside the 12 mini is pretty decent for gaming! Can game Genshin Impact at 60FPS at Max settings or atleast that's what I guess! Maybe the chips degraded over time!
My 14 pro max still has a heating issue with the simplest tasks

The thing is that even with a cable connected to the tv, the tv (which is 60 herts for me) shows a framerate of 15, while my iphone has 40+, so i would rather play on my phone than my tv
I took some photos when I visited Yucatán peninsula and the people I have shown to on my 13PM, and they have mentioned that the photos looked amazing. It’s the technique, I tell them!
So one of the most important things that you did not mention is the Sim card. Some people have multiple phones with multiple companies like myself. I can simply switch my Sim card from my 13 Pro Max to the Samsung S 23 no problem off I go. but without the Sim card tray anymore you can't just do that anymore. Some companies charge you activation fees to simply go from one phone to another.

This is the first time I've bought an iPhone switching from an android. I'm going to say I'm amazed by the phone, but the only thing I hate, is the battery life. I only get 6hrs screen time on the 15 Pro

The 15 pro max did have a great camera and Dynamic Island. But that was it. It wasn’t impressive. I ended up returning it. If you have a 13 pro model or newer, you’re gonna be bored with it. Changing all of my charger cords, horrible battery, and constant heat made it not worth it to me. They have a lot to fix. My 2 year old 13 pro max is way better.

I have a 13 pro max as well. I took the 15 pro max back. It was getting way too warm, battery was awful, and switching all my chargers to USBC when I have an iPad that’s lightning as well, just wasn’t worth it to me. I think Apple made too many mistakes with this phone. I’ll wait for the 16 or 17.
