The 13 series iPhones are some of the most beautiful phones ever made.
As someone who went from 13 PM to 15 PM. I can agree but the 15 pro max is a better design in every way. Lighter but not too light so it still feels premium, rounds corners and thinner bezels

I upgraded my Xsmax to 13 pro max and I can see big a improvement on screen (brightness and refresh rate) , battery (almost 2 days doing same things as my previous iPhone) , 5g connection and camera.. I bought the phone refurbished from Apple Store UK and is spotless I can’t see any differences between this and brand new phone. I advice anyone to go for 13pro max which is a great device for the next 2-3 years and save some money 👍🏼👌🏽
You get less years of software support and you don't have action mode and action button.

@@dappadondadda100 tbh software support isn’t big deal after 3 years of software update battery performance decreases due to new features and more use of resources, I’ll stick with iOS 17.2 for a while which is great so far. Action button is not essential the way you use the phone doesn’t change at all without it. I don’t see big evolutions on iPhone in the following years , Remember that next big thing is Apple Vision Pro and their resources will be focused on this development and engaged users to use it as main device instead of smartphones. My advice: Save money for this new generation 😉

I work at a phone store. I held onto my 13 pro max waiting for the 16 PM. But the t mobile Go5G Next plan lets you upgrade every year so I just ordered a 15pm and can get the 16 PM in as little as 6 months when it comes out.

My 13 pro max will be the first phone I’ll be keeping and not selling. I love this phone. Smooth, fast, camera is good enough for me. I checked the battery the other day. I had 10:40 hours sot which is crazy for a two year old phone.

I have had the 13 Pro max since Dec 2021. Great battery life. My battery health is at 85%. Seem this comparison video on the others channels. Basically I’m staying with 13 pro max. The 15 pro max doesn’t have features worth $1200 dollars. So I’m just going to replace my battery on my iPhone 13 promax just rock this phone until 16 promax changes my mind or stay with this phone. 13 pro max does everything I need it to do ! Still on iOS 16.7.1 no need to upgraded needed on software side. This phone is a GEM!

Agreed, 13 PM 1TB sierra blue still in use since launch and I’m at 82% battery life. Thought about an upgrade but I’ll replace the battery before I upgrade again.
I still have my 13 Pro Max in Sierra blue - no scratches and battery health is 98%. I’ve had it for 2 years and charge it every 3rd day. I also have 3 Apple leather cases and I prefer the stainless steel. I think this is peak iPhone and will be keeping it for a while yet.👍

Another great video. Thanks Aaron! I only wish you'd talked about the lack of a physical SIM card slot. I travel internationally about six months every year. For some countries a physical SIM card is more convenient and way cheaper. It's the only reason I haven't upgraded from my 13 Pro.
They definitely should include a Sim card slot in the US phones as well. However, if you travel a lot, I would recommend getting one from a different country because it has the Sim card slot in it. You can use it anywhere around the world.
You can try buying non-US unlocked versions next time you travel
Yeah.... I can buy it overseas. I may do that. It's more expensive; plus, I lose my veteran's discount. It drives up the price another $300-$400.
I'm also thinking about waiting for the rest of the world to embrace eSIMs before I upgrade. 😁

I upgraded from the 13 PM to the 15 PM and I’m happy with my phone but I sure do miss the sierra blue and the mute toggle. It is noticeably lighter which is nice but not so much lighter that it’s not gonna hurt when I drop it on myself (again). Overall I don’t regret the upgrade (now that the overheating issue has been resolved) though. Just wish the color choices were better this time around. Would have loved to get that deep purple.
Why do you miss the mute toggle? The action button is set to mute and unmute by default 🤷🏻♂️

I never liked the mute toggle. The pro series phones always had shiny side rails and the finger prints, dust, and lint build up always irritated me! I'm glad we have the button toggle now. Plus it's just easier to activate for me.
@@Kupkaik exactly and even if you are using the mute toggle on the action button it’s still better in my opinion. At 1 point I had to clean the mute switch g because dirt got stuck 😂😂😂

Hello Aron, I waited to upgrade my 12 pro Max to see what the 15 Pro Max would bring. I was very disappointed with things I was expecting. One being the very small weight reduction. Instead I bought an almost new 14 Pro Max and I love it. Merely saying...

I have a 14 Pro Max and do not plan to upgrade any time soon. 14 Pro Max has a lot of the features that the 15 Pro Max has AND a lot of carriers are offering discounts on it as well. May wanna consider it too.
I just upgrade to Ip15promax from ip13pro max, the most highlight upgrade are the camera, and also the crystal clear display and smoothness from the device. Happy with my upgrade.

I have a 13 Pro Max with 100% battery health and it does everything I need so for now I'm keeping it for at least another year or so. Maybe when the performance benchmarks show at least a 1000 points difference in single core performance (which most of the apps use) then it would be worth the upgrade. I do like the new camera lens and features but since I'm no a Pro-Photos or Videos person is not something that calls out to me for an upgrade.

Pretty much if somebody has a perfectly good 13pro max I suggest buy a new case it will make your feel better . Save your money

Can you do a video on the new SOS and the AAA road side assistance? The instructions on how to do this would be great. I played around when I had no service here in Colorado. It’s not very clear how to activate both services.

iPhone 13 Pro Max to this date was my favourite. Beautiful blue and green colour, great battery life & a great camera. The iPhone 13 Pro Max never died on me ever. This new iPhone 15 pro max has died on me a few times as well as getting super hot.
I'm lovin' my iPhone 15 Pro Max (512GB) in Titanium Blue. My first device upgrade in over 9 years lol
One other thing to remember is that the 13 series are the last iPhones to use a physical sim card. Every phone after the 13 series uses an esim. I prefer to have a physical sim that I can switch to a different device if I need or want to.

As I use this phone a lot everyday, battery life is at 85 percent capacity now so i have to charge it halfway thru the day. I like to keep this phone, but with your opinion, is it worth the battery replacement of my 13promax or should i get the 15promax?

So I have been using a Note 10+ for over 2 years. The last Iphone I owned was the Iphone 4. I have been contemplating switching back to Iphone only cause I use a prepaid service and for some reason the only updates i have gotten in the last 4 years were due to me having to manually download and install using my pc. I have literally tried everything to get them to update through the phone but nothing has worked. I buy my phones outright so a 15 pm is out of the question. Im having a hard time deciding between the 13 pm and the 14 pm. Any input would be appreciated.

Got the 13 Pro Max in Sierra Blue and it’s funtastic with its black Spigen case. Battery is 88%. It’s virtually new for a two year old phone with no scratches or dents. I’ll wait for the 16.

I moved from the 13 PM to the 15 PM and am quite happy. Battery life has been very good and the phone feels slightly smoother and faster --probably the 3nm chip set and the 8GB of ram (2 more than 13PM). Love the way more flexible USBc port--thank you EU. The x5 Zoom is really good and one of the big reasons I upgraded. The 13PM though took excellent photos and so I feel in this area it's a slight upgrade. Also, the 15PM feels significantly lighter! In your video, the photos and video from the 13PM were more saturated, kind of like a Samsung, and a lot of people prefer that over muted yet more realistic photos.
13PM have 6 gigs of RAM.
Bought the 13 pro max recently from the 12. And I’m loving it. U can live without 48 megapixels and Dynamic Island and type c . Huge deals on it rn. . Got it for $735 on Amazon refurbished .

Very well made video, thanks! I do have a question to both you as well as your iPhone user subscribers. During the video test, I saw a lot of focus hunting due to stabilization (I guess). Is that still a thing? I do think it was a bit high, but this is the first time that I see a video showing that behavior. I´m currently thinking about switching from android to iOS, mainly because of the cameras on the iPhone, but that bit caught my attention. Thanks!
Thank you. The latest phones do a pretty good job of autofocus especially the iPhone 15 Pro models. If you have decent lighting or select a subject to track it seems to keep it pretty well locked.

This is the switch I made (only difference being my phones are just normal pros, not max), I just wanted the dynamic island and USBC so that I can have one cable for my phone, iPad, Macbook, airpods and pretty much everything else
I’ve noticed a huge improvement with far less lens flare on my 15 Pro Max Aaron, the photos are much better I rarely edit them no need, the dynamic range is much better too, I’m comparing it to my 14 Pro I had last year. ❤ x😊
I just upgraded my iPhone 13 Pro Max to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and I've noticed some differences. The photos taken with the 15 Pro Max seem more natural, which is to say the blues are less blue. You can really see this in Aaron's side-by-side comparison. I also like the new Action Button more than I thought I would. I upgraded because at the end of the day, the battery in my 13 Pro Max wasn't cutting it. Now, with the new 15 Pro Max, I can end the day with 50% battery remaining. If you peruse RUclips channels of professional photographers, they are almost overwhelmingly disappointed with the new cameras on the 15 Pro Max because Apple has made things worse in a lot of areas especially the mid-range telephoto lenses. If, like me, you are starting to have battery life issues with your 13 Pro Max, and are just interested in good overall photos, you will be happy with the 15 Pro Max...
Your gonna have battery issues because eventually the battery degrades overtime, check your battery health every once in a while then get it replaced when it holidays 80%

Sierra Blue is one of Apples all time best colours.
Absolutely no complaints with a 13 pro right now, quite fast and smooth. Only issue i have with it is major display tint, very visible with grey colours, its red in the right side of the display and green/yellow on the left, when held portrait.

I upgraded to a Titanium-Blue 1TB iPhone 15 Pro Max. At first it was overheating and eating away at its battery life about a week after ownership. I thought I made a mistake in selling my iPhone 13 Pro Max to get the new iPhone.
But after iOS 17.0.3 it has been released it has been great aside from it being a bit warm when charging.
warm/hot when charging has been and always will be there and that is why battery health depletes because people don't check on their phones mid charge! Disconnect let cool after initial fast charge then reconnect for the last part of the charge from 75% to 100% I know many will say who cares but clearly many care enough to drown reddit and other forums with the same "hot when charging?" post. I have 100% battery health after 11-12 months regularly..
@@Nala_1230 I appreciate your response. I know that electronic devices will heat up if charging fast. It’s just that my iPhone 15 Pro Max heard a bit too much at times when charging.
To remedy this, I bought an older 12w iPad charger. As I’m not enamored with the “supercharging at every given chance” movement I’ve noticing from other folks. 20w charging is more than enough for me, & 12w is near perfect. As it doesn’t add any unnecessary heat while still charging at a good rate.

@@Nala_1230I would say limit the charge to 80% also does the trick. Most battery degradation occurs charging to 100% from 80% onwards. Letting the battery run down to very low as well doesn't help the battery either.
For the it’s time, the 13 pro max was a better release. I upgraded from a 13PM to a 15PM and while the 15PM is definitely better, it doesn’t feel as big of an upgrade

Great as always you mention the PWM, but why doesn't Samsung/Apple rise it up as some Chinese phones like Realme phones AMOLED 2160 Hz, I've tried the 11 Pro plus and it's been amazing with no eye strain.
I'm currently using the 13 Pro Max and I didn't notice it, but when using the S22 Ultra my I start getting headaches and my eyes hurting for like 10 min of usage, really disappointing.

I have a 14 Pro with screen and battery issues that I traded in my previous 13 Pro for it.

blue and black models are ready for same day pick up... white was also last week not no more and natural has been the hardest to get... apple is steady but surely selling vs other years which have been hard for pick up until like march of the next year

I have to say macro mode and portrait on the leaf was miles better in the 13pro max.
Even the video on selfie camera showed so much more detail on your face . Makes the switch up decision very hard
