Is there a way, I'm wondering, to adjust the burrs or something else to move the zero point to straight downwards centered on the spout? Having my little ring point to around 5 o'clock is odd to me and bothers me. Yes, this is a first-world problem...but I paid a lot for this thing.
Can try to peel the dial sticker off with hair dryer or heat gun. Or can buy a new sticker from turingrinders.com and re-apply over the old to point down.
@@EspressoOutlet Good idea! Yep, they sell stickers for exactly that reason evidently: "A replacement sticker for the DF64 Gen 2 Dial. Use if you wish to recalibrate your zero point, or if you purchase a replacement adjustment collar." Cheers for the suggestion.

I took the grinder apart to clean it but I accidentally wiped the black mark and I forgot the correct direction. What should I do?
Check alignment, if it looks off, rotate 120 degrees until you figure out which was most correct.
