Before I moved to Jacksonville, I would regularly see car crashes on the news and many of them fatal. I was under the impression that Jacksonville must have some dangerous roads. I now see why they have so many crashes, driving way too fast and staring at their smartphones.

I’m pretty sure it’s the law to pull your vehicle over in a safe place and the officers job to make sure of that to hand out tickets in a turning lane is absurd

I've had fun with it... I passed an officer once and he pulled me over. He asked me what the rush was and I said I wasn't in any rush but I won the race....he look bewildered and asked me to explain and I told him "I thought we was racing". He let me off. Back in my youth I have a CBR 600f2 and a motorcycle cop pulled me over ...his first words were " why did you pull over....most of you run". I told him I don't play with mine or others lives and would rather take the ticket.....he let me off with a warning.

Great way to let you know not to speed through Coral Springs. Coconut Creek had a bunch of speed traps set up a long time ago, but I don’t see them anymore.

Even though she was clocked at 58, in my state you can go 5mi over, but in some cities speed limit is strictly enforced. So it's gr8 that its strictly enforced in Coral Springs, so that part if she really was going 40 and visiting, maybe some confusion if that was the case
The police motorcyclist has to race to catch drivers who all stated they were doing 35MPH as they were also zipping pass the ones going the speed limit. Just say you are Guilty. Wait until their premiums increase after the tickets.
I think its just easy to comply and answer honestly. There's no harm. The only time I was asked that question (what are you doing?) it was from a Boston suburban cop, I told him I was delivering. He took my license and registration to run it (which I'm happy he did). I didn't violate any traffic infractions but this business asked the cops to ID anyone coming and going due to an increase in theft. The cops register the names and car info of all of the people who come and go into this establishment, which doesn't bother me at all. If your doing the right thing, it won't matter what your doing. Plus, I think they are trying to find the culprit. Not everyone steals from the same place, but if they got away with it, they might feel emboldened to try again I showed him the delivery slip, dropped off the packages and was on my way to the next stop.
They actually raised the speed limit on a road here in Texas becuz the average driver was getting pulled over for doing 45 in a 30! New speed limit posted is now 45
The father speeding 20mi over the speed limit with his kids, that's a recipe for disaster. I wish the cop said something about not endangering the life of his kids
There's a AAA office five miles down the road, those nice kids take care of my insurance, registration and even license renewal. It's all so easy, the people in these videos leave me shaking my head.
Coral Springs maintains the speed limit. The lady who was stopped thinking she was going 40 when its 35 - in my state you can go 5mi over the speed limit but there are a few towns where the speed limit is strictly enforced and you have to maintain that speed
I lived in Coral Springs from 2002-2006 and all the speeding tickets I've ever received in my life were in Coral Springs during those four years, I have not received a speeding ticket since 2006 haha Shout out Barry at dispatch. Not sure if he's still there but he was a great neighbor.

if you ever get pulled over for speeding and the officer tells you he got you at X speed using radar or lidar, dont argue and say you didnt do it cause they got you, the only thing you can say is why you did it, Not i didnt DO it.
Every time I've ever been pulled over I've owned it. There's been a few times I was legit not paying attention and told the officer that. Sometimes I have been given a ticket, sometimes a warning.

You don't have to answer, but officers are trained to continually ask for questions for officer safety. It distracts a person that might be planning to do harm.
I also think that it's an easy answer. "I'm doing Uber" ... "I'm delivering" ... "I'm on my way to work"... "I'm on my way to pick up my son from work"... "I'm on my way to the Whole Foods to pick up an Amazon package" ... it's simple. Now, if they ask to search your car that's a different situation

Personally I think they should change the law to 3 months once you move to have your License changed to a Florida License. Because moving out of state is a big deal and can take a while to get things situated

Well sometimes there is a long distance between the signs. Her speeding offense occurred prior to arriving at this position.
