- Welcome back to this video on the Escort RS Turbo.
In today’s video I rebuild the bottom of the passenger side wing which was removed so I could rebuild the A pillar. I also finish off the passenger sill.
I’d like to thank all the new subscribers for joining us on the rebuild of the RS Turbo and hope you and all my subscribers enjoy the videos.
Execellent video more of the same please😊
Great video 👍
great video
Coming along nicely
Copper pipe is a lifesaver in loads of awkward spots. Makes welding the unweldable possible.
Excellent work again Chris .
Cars taking shape 👌🏽
Thank you Scott.
Well done Chris on the wing repair. That side looks nice now completed 👌👍
Thank you Sid! 👍
Rear wheel arch repair panels. Took hours to fettle them in but came out real well. Front valance replacement not a major biggy. Lot memories. Mine was the xr3i. Lovely cars. Wish never get it to the ex. Live and learn don't we just. Lol.
Great work mate looking really good 👍🏻
Thank you mate!
Another great video , youl be missing the work when' your complete. What's your timescale?
Thank you Paul, yes I will miss it but always get another project on the go, but I’m not sure the wife will agree.😂 I don’t have a time scale mate but it would be nice to get all the welding work done this year, or even in to paint.
Hi mate great job on this!!! I’m putting mx5 running gear in my mk4 cab but the car is in storage at the moment is there any Chance you could measure the gap between the pinch welds of the sills where the weather seal goes to see how far off I am? Cheers nick
Hi yes I will take a look .
@@ModernClassics81 ta pal,, I think I’m going to scratch build floors in the end… you know how these things go
Peeps... cars in general are only worth what insurance will pay u for it. They are money pits....only restore if you do it outa love and hobby
Arnt all cars money pits , they wear parts down. If there weren't people out there like us repairing them there wouldn't be many left
Very true, I spend most of my time working on them than I do driving them.👍
