- Where can you find the best Taiwanese food in New York City? Chef and RUclipsr @IngaLam recommends Ho Foods, located at 110 E 7th Street in Manhattan. Ho Foods specializes in beef noodle soup, but real ones know to swing by the restaurant on weekends for Taiwanese breakfast classics like hot soy milk, egg-stuffed scallion pancakes, and fan tuan, a sticky rice roll packed with yo tiao (fried dough) and savory pork floss. Inga first made a name for herself as a host on Tasty, and has since become one of our favorite food creators working on RUclips. Inga has long co-signed Ho Foods’ legendary beef noodle soup (which she samples at the end of the video) but the restaurant’s breakfast spread equally lives up to the hype!

So much beautiful food and facts! Inga is honest and she's cute... and her voice is very comforting. Thank you! This is all true.
From scratch soy milk is wonderful. Warm or cold with ice and a little sugar. Dream.
6:30 beef shank not brisket, HK/Canto beef noodle uses brisket more often, Taiwanese like to use beef shank or special trim beef shank 金錢腱
Came here because of Inga.
It's a great reason to go anywhere
Super grateful to have a RUclips legend like Inga come on our little channel! 🙏
Lmao the prices are nothing short of highway robbery. $4 for fried dough, $8 for fan tuan, $21 for a noodle dish…
Damn, the production of this video is amazing for a new channel!! Starting out STRONG.
Really appreciate that. We're a two person team doing our best out here! Thank you for watching
I enjoyed this so much! Def putting Ho Foods on my list💞
Love the Ho-me is where the noods are sign! So so true. Suggestion, have Inga on again. She's so damn knowledgeable when it comes ot the NYC food scene.
Inga has an open invitation at Rec Team NYC!
When you say rice roll I think of the other rice roll which is in like dimsum like Cheung fun
Why I look alike Taiwanese: because of the Cho tofu🌶
Win Son Bakery is another must try when it comes to Taiwanese breakfast!
"fan tuan" 飯糰 should really be translated as a "sticky rice ball" in the same vein as an onigiri... not sure why it is often translated as a "rice roll". There is nothing "roll" about it
💛
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Instead of by food type or cuisine, I would like for future food rec videos to be based on geographical area (like the best restaurants in one particular neighborhood) so that we can find the best eats in any particular place.
This is a good suggestion. Would love to do more videos like this. To be transparent, we have guests come on and take us to their favorite restaurants, and sometimes it feels like a big time commitment to do more than one stop. But would definitely be interested in doing more videos based on neighborhood! Thanks for watching
inga the foodie expert!
Believe or Not: I am actually a tall blonde seriously!!!!
U noe that’s totally not wat I look alike……………
Whole Foods x Ho Foods needs to happen.
nah, whole foods doesn't have an decent ingredients for making Taiwanese/Chinese food.
Inga, have you eaten rice? Now translate that into Cantonese.
in Inga I trust, another restaurant for my bucket list ❤
I head to "Nan Bei Ho" in Queens for this stuff.
Subbed cause the photography is awesome!
We appreciate you! 🙏
Awesome breakfast ❤
look so good
This level of production should at least get you one mill subs. But yeah, hope you guys doing great, get some sponsorship and so on and so on.
Thank you! This comment means a lot. We're a two-man team, trying to put out the best content we possibly can. Appreciate the support!
You said Beef Brisket. Heaven.
it's actually 5-spice braised beef shank, not brisket
Inga❤❤❤❤
I hope you paid for her meal 😂
Of course we did!
His folding technique annoys me shouldn't the pork floss wrap be more circular?
This girl is gorgeous, and she is intelligent too. 5 stars!!!!
Real oatmeal is healthier .. soy in unhealthy
People think soy is unhealthy is because what you can find in US are GMO soy and chemical processed soy products. Asians have eaten soy for thousands of years including those Japanese centenarians. Oats are not healthy too. Even organic oats have glyphosate. I avoid all oat products unless the brand had their oats tested to be weed killer free.
