cafes and museums, if your into that. Also, any food festivals, obviously. Are you going to check out le Quartier chinos? Share what you're comfortable sharing and show us Paris through your eyes! ❤
Any farmer's markets? I would also like to see you try artisan products. I want to see the prepared food available in convenience stores and supermarkets. And the usual- watching you prepare a meal and eat. And btw, you look so good in uniform!
Recently made a career change and started working at a pastry shop after 10 years working in front of a computer, and by far the biggest challenge has been the amount of hours standing on my poor feet and legs. The first 2 weeks were so intense, like daily cramps, sore everything and wondering if I made the right choice but it's been two months now and my body has gotten more used to it, but yeah, working in kitchens? Way harder than I ever imagined. Super amazed that you decided to take the chance and study again, I even got curious enough that I'm on Ferrandi's website right now checking their courses lol good luck, hope you learn everything you wanted and more!
been in the restaurant industry all my life.. it's definitely tiring and very hard on your body. i love it, but i know i can't be doing this my entire life.
As you said, the fact that the student present at the course WANT to be there, it makes a huge difference in everything. The feeling, the camaraderie and the will of everyone to learn is truly motivating and gives you strenght for the day. I really like to see you enjoying your trip here in France. Thanks for your videos !
This is so wonderful. I wish everyone had an education experience like this. Going not because you were told to, or expected to, but for the love of knowledge and experience of it. ❤❤❤
I am not sure why it makes me so happy to know someone on RUclips is as obsessed with baguette bread as I am but I wanted to cry alongside with you when you were showing off your creations. So happy for you doing your thing!
Inga's videos are so comforting. It doesn't feel like and watching a famous RUclipsr's videos (that she is) , but it feels like i'm watching a friend update me on her life
I love how you bubble up when you start talking about the experience even though you are exhausted. That's how you know its a good thing, and I am super happy for you. You are obviously going to be sharing a lot of food related stuff (which is awesome), but what has been your favorite non-food part of your stay so far?
It makes me so happy to see you living the life I dream of! I'm 17 and have always wanted to learn pastry, attending culinary school would bring me so much joy. I also love bread and I really appreciate your excited documentation of the whole process, baking baguettes must be soooo satisfying. I have been watching your videos for a while now and I am just so glad that you're doing this and we get to live vicariously through you! I wish you love and all the very best, hope to one day be living this life myself:)
I am so glad you are getting to do this. Your joy and passion is wonderful. Congratulations on this great chapter! Also, those baguettes looked great! Thank you for sharing with us
Inga I love your content so much! After I saw your first video in the Paris apartment I went back and rewatched all your old videos and realised that you've really manifested being in baking school! Most of your videos have at least a 2 minute segment of you fan-girling over bread and I find that so heartwarming. Also, you've really inspired me because there's still so much I want to do in my personal life and you've really made me believe that it's never too late; at the cost of sounding corny. Thank you ❤
As someone with coeliacs, I think I would cry being in that city and not being able to eat all that amazing bread! I also love being in a class or group of people who are excited to learn a thing - it's inspiring and makes you want to learn more ❤
Your joy is so contagious!!! This is such wholesome joyful content of you baking and making these beautiful creations!! I’m so happy to see you happy!! Sending you love 💗💗
Aww, so cute!! Thanks for bringing us along your super exciting journey, Inga!! The sheer joy in your eyes is so rewarding to see!! And it's so cool that they let you film/take photos in class!! I'm glad you're having a blast, and I so appreciate you sharing it all with us, but don't let it get too taxing on you! If you are too busy and have a lot going on, make sure you prioritize your well-being over making content for us!! ❤❤ Can't wait for the next one, whenever that might be!! 🥰
Hi inga! I’ll be writing an exam 6 days from now. And I was extremely sleepy when this video popped on my feed. I def feel more energised now- watching your culinary school journey. I loooove baking and I haven’t been able to bake for the last 2 years. So this makes me very happy n it’s so soothing. Good luck!
So cute to see how happy baguettes make you. 😍 Im from the Netherlands and i understand the feeling you get when tasting a good baguette🥰 France is beautiful hope you enjoy your time there!
omg I miss french baugettes so much!!! That's like all I ate when I was there. That looks like a long day, but you learn so much from it. The lunch looks exactly like the ones I had in university there. And dinner there doesn't start until 7:30pm which makes so much sense so you can relax a bit after you get done with school or work
So many Inga adventures in this one video. I'm definitely going to have to watch it again to catch all that. That class looks so fun though!! And getting to eat what you made shortly after sounds good to me haha
Inga, this is amazing! So happy for you. Those baguettes in the proofer made me think of babies in incubators at the hospital, and then your comment about children! 😅 I hope you get ALL the carbs. Bravo!
Nice video. So Ferrandi. Good choice. Have you tried their restaurant? The bread looked awesome. But I wouldn’t call it homemade. You used tools such as proofing chamber that no one has at home. ;) And a baguette is a bread we can’t keep for long so no need to store them. ;) Unless you want to make some croutons or some pain perdu. But seeing how gorgeous the bread looked I would have done the same. :) You chose a great area for nice restaurants. Near place Monge try Chez Gladines. It’s nice no fuss but tasty dishes. Their salads are great too. And I’m sure there are better options than the chicken from Carrefour. Oh and no need for bottled water, try the tab water. The Parisian water is good, often very good. Have a nice one.
what else are you curious about while I’m here in Paris? 👀 let me know!
cafes and museums, if your into that. Also, any food festivals, obviously. Are you going to check out le Quartier chinos?
Share what you're comfortable sharing and show us Paris through your eyes! ❤
If you like tea, check out Wistaria Paris. It is the sister location of Wistaria teahouse in Taipei. Really nice oolongs! 😊
Hot chocolate!
I love this style of vlogs! They are my favorite! So happy your baguette dreams are coming true!
Love from California🏔️🌲☀️🩵

awww you’re gonna see and hear this a lotttt but so so happy for you, inga!! you look so happy even though you have a very packed schedule ❤
‘The Bread I Inhaled: Stories from Culinary School’.
Book the title ASAP
A delicious title for her bread bible
The nerd in me was so happy to see your notes up close and personal. Plus! Those drawings/diagrams looked soo cute

The moment at 12:09 where Inga is joyfully framing her face with knife and fork should really be a logo for this channel. Maybe on a t-shirt too.
I would buy that 😄
Learning to make bread AND you get to take them home? Sounds like Inga heaven lol. Have fun!!

you tearing up was so pure. thank you for the inspiration!
Love this, but favourite moment is when Inga compares the baguettes to babies and next shot is munching on them!
