Wah Fung was to go spot for the high school and middle school kids. 15ish years ago, it was only $2.75-$3.75. The most affordable and satisfying meal for us back then 😂
aw thank you both so much!!!! credit goes out to my amazing editor, Alexa. She's a rockstar! She is the same editor who edited my Lost In Translation series on Tasty :)
Great video! Excellent thoughtful discussion of each restaurant and dish. We’re going to NYC this weekend for a wedding and plan to go to Chinatown for a food crawl. Took lots of notes, thanks for sharing 😊
My first video watching you guys. I live in Chinatown and your descriptions are on point. Keep up with the good work and honesty. On aside Jasmine…. gurrrl , don’t apologize! Keep it 100. Thanks for sharing about your molars it explains a lot of why you like or hate what you eat
I’ve never been to Brooklyn’s Chinatown! I actually didn’t even know they had one! But both are delicious. George and I liked Flushing more but I have a super soft place in my heart for Manhattan’s since I lived there for a summer. Both are great ♥️
When was this filmed? Why is everyone in winter coat? I agree with you on the Xi'an noodles, not a fan of it. For rice roll, you should also check out Yi Ji Shi Mo, which is down the block from the cart.
Hi i love your vids, I watched your video on why u left tasty. But i am curious. What happened to tasty? Its just recipe lunchboxes and no make it fancy or series and stuff?
thank you for your comment! unfortunately i'm not allowed to speak on this matter but i want to say that if you want to continue supporting the creators you enjoy watching that are still at tasty, engaging with their videos either on tasty or their personal channels through comments, likes, sharing is the best way to do so :)
Oh thats fine, but you said personal channels, I know you have one but do katie or mimo or any of the other people who worked for the lost in translation series have personal channels?
They do not have a security guard there. It was most likely just an emotional disturbed man looking for a handout. You really should add the address / where to find the food cart. Nice video.
@@jasminepak I have been there so many times. Never saw one. It is a hole in the wall. They cannot make that much money. To pay for a security guard seems like a great leap. They are also extremely friendly and nice. I cannot see them hiring anyone, let alone that type of person.
I'm pretty sure that aint a security guard at wah fung most likely either a homeless man or just a random dude trynna make a buck by letting people cut for a price. Been seeing it at a lot of chinese places that have heavy foot traffic cops wont do anything cause its not like they are trespassing by just standing in front of the store but honestly its a big deterrent for me especially if the entrance smells like piss poo and weed
Umm hello. I have seen the man you are speaking of. Whether he's homeless or not, I don't know. However, he never asks for a handout, nor does he smell. Just an FYI. He is actually a pleasant person. Period!
i loveddddd flushing! didn't get a chance to film a YT video for it, but check out the full food crawl we did on TikTok :) www.tiktok.com/@jasminebellepak/video/7369310580009602335
Too much talking and not enough eating the "best eats". Not too many people are interested in the narrator talking we want you to GET TO THE EATS as described in your tagline. Also many youtubers show the scenery or historical information. Just a hint. We are NOT interested. THis is not to offend you just info.
You and your bf make a great combo, personalities complement each other so well making this more enjoyable to watch.
ahhh thank you!!!!! I appreciate you ! :)
Agree clearly friends first 🥹 lovers second we love that
Literally bookmarking every single place in my to do list 😍😍😍

Bodhi Kosher literally has the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life! I've been there several times and I was never disappointed! 🤤
i love your personalities, i could watch you guys all day lol

This is so bonko to me, he literally had a whole security uniform on 💀

I'll follow you cause you are pretty! A black guy pulling Chinese noodles is a fail visually. The pineapple pork buns are $3 now.

I don't think that's a security guard... lol.... most def a homeless dude
I’m so upset by this news lol he really made my experience worse 😂😭
Lol yeah they don't have security guards 😂
There is no security guard at Wah Fung, or in any chinese restaurants.
