  • The work on the Cheapie Civic finally begins! Since this project is all DIY and done mostly on the driveway, I tackled whatever cosmetic work I could do first as the weather was warm today.
    Follow along as we pinch the pennies on this Cheapie Civic build! Thanks for watching and don't forget to follow us on IG @boltsandbanter for more daily Civic content!

    Bro... spray the length of the panel... just inveted a new striping so tiger stripes and whatever that was. Good thing it's clear coat so it'll polish nicely. Nice work my guy. you're better than 90% of folks watching just by doing it! Props. Take my criticism and use it to be better... that's how most of us learned.

    Dang! Didn't show the final product of the fender or wheels! You should definitely show the result of what you've worked on in each video. Good to see more budget Honda projects!

    One tip.
    If you spray paint smt do the whole panel from left to right because if not you will have too much Material in some spots in the middle👍🏽

    I miss the narration detail that you gave in Episode 1. I think your narrative skills have potential. Would prefer that over asmr.

      they'll be going on the car when I get my hands on a cheap set of 13" tires and have some time to refinish them. I agree, they look good when they're clean! Thanks for watching🙌🏻

    How much was the total save for the parts and tools?

    • @boltsandbanter
      @boltsandbanter  6 месяцев назад +2

      The fender cost $33 and the materials to paint everything in this video was about $70. The stand I used for the wheels and fender cost $30 from harbor freight and I wish I bought it sooner!

      @@boltsandbanter That's literally on the low end cost of materials and that's awesome! I have an '06 Ford Taurus and I'm trying to get everything done for it like this bit by bit. The suspension prices are killer though lol

      @@kristensanchez2100 the Rockauto Wholesale Closeout section helped a lot with keeping costs low on this project! If you browse around, you might be able to snag some good quality suspension parts on the cheap too! Thanks for watching and good luck on the Taurus!
