Fun fact for literally anyone who didn't know (because I've met a few who didn't) if hammering doesn't sound fun and you're one of the lucky dude who have the right sized bolts, those rotors can be removed by placing the bolts in the threaded slots and just tightening the bolts. Extremely awesome way to remove rotors/drums if hammering just ain't doin the trick.

That's not bad. Dealership charged me $1300 for one front wheel rotor and caliper replaced. Inspection was in with that too I think.

I feel like after the past 5 years people start to think its a good business if the price is expensive. That used to be the case now pay we pay a shit load for shit service! I started doing almost everything my self. From car maintenance, to installing my own split unit AC. Tools cost less than one "pro" visit and they can be used forever.

Every mechanic around my area wanted anywhere from $700-1000 for my moms Honda CR-V I went to my local Autozone and got all the parts for a full brake job pads and rotors for the front and rear for $340 and it took me about 3 hours because I was taking my time and because some of the caliper bolts were extremely stubborn otherwise it’s an easy job mechanics are extremely immoral people they can get the exact same parts I got for even less due to their shop discount and make a ridiculous nearly $1000 profit off of you absolutely disgusting.

parts alone are at least $180

That's cheap for the dealership! You usually get screwed worse! Plus real men fix thier own trucks! Don't let a car intimidate you, even major overhauls are not impossible for the average enthusiasts!

Yep that’s exactly why I became a motorcycle technician, Not about to pay the dealer $1200 for an oil change, Brake inspection & coolant flush. They’ll usually do something wrong too 😂
