The most honest guy on RUclips. He gives me such a positive vibe.
Yeah man me too!

A real class act. Indeed.

Thats a really clean ek for 400.

@@Stancehh I had to look it up since it's been awhile since i messed with hondas. We're both wrong. All the USDM civics from 96-00 were EJ's minus the SI (EM). Only the JDM 96-00 civics were EK's

This man has skills with a budget friendly attitude. I salute.

Had a 99 Civic EX blown head gasket. Wanted to fix it, no one wanted to work on it. No rust, had it for 11 years. Broke my heart.
So much respect for someone who does this much to restore a beautiful car like this
this is what 90s hondas deserve. those riced ones just hurt my heart.
We need our guy at 79th Productions to make one of them ricer-sleepers like from Fast and Furious
Yay, no spoilers, no camber, no loud exausts
@@gabrielrubim4859 and thank god NO STICKERS

There is not a single one of them in my country
This dude is out here bringing back the 90's one honda at a time!! Great restoration again! Nice work, bud!!!
would be awesome if he did a JDM restoration on a infiniti G20 to the primera. really underrated car
He did a great job restoring the civic
Return of the Mack
Who else here because you stuck at home wishing this could be you in your own driveway with your own ride. Got youngster to little to be able to do any work for now, so, someone elses project is my little escape. Nice Em2 bro.
awesome account name love it
Bro, I would tow ANY old Honda to your spot and let you have at it. Wouldn't care what you decided to do. I know I would love it. Your patience and attention to detail is crazy!!! Respect.
Doing budget jobs is harder than people think. I do body and paint work for a living, and its way easier with a full shop and all materials at your disposal. Being able to put out the quality of work this channel does takes real skill and planning, let alone planning to make it budget friendly. I give this channel nothing but respect, this is what the real car guys do with their time and money
Man I gotta buy one of your Honda’s one day. So sick.
No kidding. Clean job for a nice little civic!

Adam Perez exactly all the cars around my area are way overpriced and are junk. That’s why I’m looking at a imported skyline in Florida
Honestly
Taran damn you found a good deal in Florida, that’s actually crazy considering I’ve though about most jdm cars and they are usually really beat up or “ I kNoW wHaT I haVe” type of people overcharging everything :p
not possible m8
The northern Midwest has no cars I swear
7:51 did he leave his phone on the trunk hahaha
saw it too lol
Haha yeah 🤣🤭
Had to go and add watch that! Lol

I was like RIP that phone just got Rick Rolled
Half way through the video, I realized the amount of effort put in this mans content is unparalleled... Several weeks/months of working on the car itself. THEN once the build is complete, weeks/months of footage to rewatch and edit deciding what to keep and what to take out.... Can’t even imagine. Maaaaaad respect bro 🤙🏽🙏🏽.
Alright now back to the rest of the video lol.
Boogybreak thank you
I like the way you put this video together. No talking, from start to finish, cool music... Makes it easier to watch cause you dont spend 10 minutes explaining every little thing while joking around with a friend acting all goofy like a 10 yr old. Im tellin you some of these other youtubers act like clowns.
I see no ventilation when applying the final paint. This will cause the paint floating in the air to settle down on your new paint causing a dull fuzzy finish. With that aside you did a fantastic job bringing that car back from the dead. Great job my friend.
Love seeing the budget stuff. So many channels are using like 10k dollars worth of KTuned parts and it's just not realistic for the average hobbyist
Joe Black hey it’s their choice 🤷♂️
I get what you're saying٫ but I save for my quality parts. Im a dad and a husband٫ but still can create a savings.
These videos feel like they've been uploaded 5+ years ago, and I mean no offense with that at all. Today's videos feel overproduced and fake, and are stuffed with in-video ads and promotions (which is needed unfortunately in today's youtube world). These videos really have that retro RUclips feel and it's great. Short simple clips, easy text to read, ncs music in the background, no bullshit. It takes me back to simpler times and I love watching these videos in their entirety. Keep it up man, I love your work!
Proud for you bruh...lots of progress in your life man
I like how you highlight you mistake show just how much work goes into a job like this and how to correct those mistakes for us DIYers
The most impressive thing for me the amount of patience you have to pull this off. Most people would throw in the towel on the first day by the sheer volume of time it takes to do this.
@Skynet Cyborg True, when it's something you like doing it's not a "chore or job" it's a hobby & passion. He takes his time. 👍
I feel old cause I wear knee pads as well
Finally more content to make me happy during the lockdown here in Ireland
This one is what i like the most of any restoration project i've watched... Few tutorials are important..
This single video is better than every super car "RUclipsr".
Those gloves and the respirators are going to be with a fortune in the coming weeks....... Might want to hold off on body work. 😁👍
VideoServicesVB 😂 😂😂😂😂
No cap
You inspired me to start on my project car, I clicked so fast
Watching this 11 months later.. the work you did to this car will last countless more 11 months later. Very heartwarming and proud to watch this amazing video you have created. It's a beautiful car and whats more beautiful is the sweat, tears, and hard long hours put into it. Love the drive man, keep up the great work! 👍
It's good to see someone put some work into a car Most people would have left that in the junkyard or parted it out
Proper respiration equipment, even though it's DIY? Admitting his paint mistake and even going so far as to show it, and show him correcting it? Holding his shirt back when he was painting the engine bay so it didn't touch? I'd pay so much money to have this guy re-up my 94 EJ Coupe in Aztec Blue Metallic xD For real, amazing work as always man. Thanks for doing this. Please send me some of your initiative and drive so I can restore my '67 TBird lol
the fact that he likes every comments here is unbelievable. u deserve a million subs dude!! godbless from Philippines!!
Not Astroo sana may tig20k din na civic dito satin sa pinas lol
I appreciate your dedication to these projects. I am wanting to get back into another CD6 chassis and your results are getting me inspired again. Thanks for recording your efforts and projecting that positivity. Like COVID it’s contagious.
Dude, the level of detail and work ethic applied on this car is simply top of the line.
I had one of those civics and got stolen unfortunately. Loved my car.
I liked the fact that he said "A "STICK" ist looking out of the block"
As if there were people that would say :"naaah dude it's fine, no need for replacing."
i was so confused how he got it for 400$ an then when i saw the hole in the engine block it all made sense 😂
I bought a 98 civic LX two weeks ago for $800 and already threw a rod through the pan lol
@@fc1jp444 bro with out a doubt the add for that roller shell here in Ontario would be...."3000$ FIRM, no low ballers, no tire kickers, I know what I got 😤" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@SketchTactics you think Ontario is bad? Try New Brunswick, we have to go to Quebec or Nova Scotia to get a car this clean
I’m telling you lol. Here in middle Tennessee where I’m from, even with a hole like that in the block it would still fetch $1500-2000 just because of how clean everything the shell is. The engines are what’s dirt cheap around here. You can pick up a y7 like he pulled for like a $100 if you’re in the loop with the Honda people around here. Hell even a decent b18c1 would be maybe $300 at most. A ragged out ej1 shell, or even and ej7 like this would still be about $1500-2000 though.
Yeah, 2000hr. of labor later....it was a "cheap budget build".
I’ve been following these videos for a while and I think its awesome. I grew up building Honda’s, and I do body and paint for a living. I’ve seen massive improvement in products and techniques with your body and paint work. Keep up the awesome content.
From this video we can all see that the body part, of this & our cars are not expensive. What is expensive is the hand job. Done to your car paying the person to do it thanks to this video I learn how to change my car from lights and save up 350$ dollars that the guy in the mechanics was charging me. Thanks a lot dude well done.
Haven’t even watched it and I know it’s gonna be good LOLOL good shit dude
25:50 most satisfying part.
Brother you are killing it, love to see these old cars being brought back to life.
I like how your videos are more practical to an everyday working Joe. Nothing is outrageous expensive or overdone. Simple and cheap 👍
It always makes me happy when I see a 79th Productions video come out!
This was really cool to watch in it's entirety. I'm glad there are still so many guys out there that appreciate these cars as much as I do...and I'm 37 years old. I'm about $25k into my car...and still counting. I remember watching you back when you only had a few hundred subscribers with that old Prelude. Good to see you blew up bro!
$25k into what? A civic or prelude?
25k is not that much I guess... people buy a new car 25k drive it for 3 years then sell it for 7k in an auction
@@sebastianschumacher9772 but the difference of spending $25k on an old car compared to spending $25k on a new car is literally new or old, newer technology, and usually less miles even that on a newer car. But $25k on a older Honda, that’s a lot of money. Spend your money how you want to but there were other options to spend $25k
You are amazing. Cheap, one single video, honest, good at what you do ! Good job !
Wow, amazing restoration. Amazing work! There aren't very many of these in the streets nowadays. Back then just about every other car you saw on the road was a Honda Civic, really brings back memories.
The best to ever do it on a Budget, Looks so Clean!!!
Tmac0920 Mac for sure mad props !!!
Didn’t think I’d watch the whole thing. Dude this was great.
This was truly inspiring to watch. I am planning to get an integra here soon and I was already looking into coilovers but couldn't find any good prices. So the fact you linked that website saved me a whole buncha money so thanks for that and keep up the great content man! Hope to see more soon!
This guy starts and finishes with quality workmanship.

I watch all your videos. Currently I’m rebuilding a 90 Honda prelude. I’m swapping the 5th gen engine into the 3rd gen. When the build gets tough I think about all the work you accomplished In that garage and it really motivates me. This is a great video and it was really informative. You’re amazing👍
Thank you for actually putting captions next to what you're doing, it's a massive help and amazing work, great video.
Bcz of this dude... I’m gonna fixs my car now, in quarantine.
How’s it going?

Just letting you know my husband loves watching your channel and you look like a honest hard working man and that's all he talks about is wanting to do is what you do with yours cars so please keep up your good work because people like you make give people hope that they can do it to love your work and if you ever sale any of your work please let use know because would buy a car from you in a heart beat so please keep making this RUclips videos. Big love from. Lori/and husband Jason. AKA Turtle
i love how genuine you are
I love watching these videos motivates me to do my first budget build
These are the types of videos im trynna binge during quarantine
# LEGEND trust an believe 1 million subscribers. Man you bring back child hood memories of my uncle showing me how to work on a car. Rest In Peace lost interest when god took him. Took a decade to get back into it. Started on my 69 mustang but it was to big of a project for me so I just parted ways but I now have an 89 lx 5.0 notchback I’m working on and picked up a Harley going to live life a quarter mile at a time !!!!
I would love to see you do a a little geo tracker or Chevy tracker put together build watching you sand and paint brings so much satisfaction to my mind u make it look easy
Lmao that is kind of a random idea considering he does mostly Honda stuff but I'd kinda like to see something like that too. He's great at what he does and generally when I see a Chevy like you're talking about they're beat to shit but I can imagine Hector would manage to make one look super nice.
Well done sir. Just the message I needed. DO IT YOURSELF
You have amazing talent and Father bless those hands of yours to keep bringing back those Hondas to life.
I don’t even like civic but he really made this build interesting 😂
Jonathan Rivas same here, now i want to build one
Effort always does.
Yoouu civic are the shit if you want a carr to have fun running in the street thats the carr or honda cvr 89 to 2000...
Love your videos and how you do what you like !! Good work and its very satisfying seeing a car get restored to make a wonderful companion.
Inspirating bro thanks I jus got my 2000 si and had a few things to work on and was worried bout it costing to much but mostly took most of the stress away with the simplicity of the video and plain explanations will be bac for dope vids keep it up bro.✊🏿
This guy makes swapping an engine look as easy as an oil and filter change! Top notch work dude!
Awesome to see Civic’s being rebuilt. Quality job on a budget, you’ve got amazing skills. Keep doing what you do best, saving 90’s cars from the junkyard.😄👊
That’s super clean this guy know what he’s doin plain and simple 🙏
Thats it! You have convinced me to finally pull the trigger and buy a Honda to restore and build. I have little car experience and litlle money, but I know how to do the basics. Hopefully by doing this I learn more about cars and make my dream of building a car (on a budget) a reality.
Weather you love or hate Honda’s you have to respect the amount of work put into this. I drive VWs but you impress me every time with your restorations/rebuilds. Keep it up and stay safe.
It's a good day when we get another upload from Justin at 79th Productions
Great music and was awesome seeing the transformation. Keep it up man!
Much love bro!! Hard work and dedication ...u be making a nothing car into something on a budget ...keep up the content ..always enjoy watching them 💯
I love what you do man. It’s crazy how we think things are so far out of our reach financially and then there’s legends like you to let us know what hard work can do for you I love you dawg.
I can just watch your videos back to back... the way you build and the details you inform the viewers is golden. Keep it up... do not change your format.. thank you again.
Mate, I cant believe the work you put into these cars! Came out so mint to. So well done looks great.
Stupid clean. I love how clean it is. I bought one of these for $800 and put $200 into it to get it to run properly, and I wanted to keep it but a friend needed a car so I sold it to them for $2500. 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ I’m gonna buy another one. Right now I got a 2015 Civic SI Coupe and I love it.
Dude keep up the good work, one project by anther this channel will hit milion in no time. 💪
This is what I wanna do I have a 2096 Saturn that has a dead engine and I don’t want to let it go. In the mean time I have a 99 Chevy Malibu that I learned how to replace the brakes spark plugs I redid the interior spark plug wires sanded and added tint to. One day I will do a engine swap and you along with other great youtubers helped me learn. Ty so much for sharing.
Great job bud! A lot of dedication and attention to detail. Loved watching it. Loved the music too.
This is just beautiful, you put so much effort and love into it
The amount of work that went into this and filming it at the same time is impressive.
YES FINALLY! THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER AWESOME VIDEO!❤️❤️❤️
This added up to $2,370. I have a similar Civic, except my dash is in pieces. I really should install the new heater core now that summer is here. I would absolutely buy another Civic if I had the chance, but I cannot imagine spending $2,400 for one.
Without many words ! The work done deserves respect.
SO REALISTICALLY BUILT ON A BUDGET!!!! Kudos to you Justin!!!!
You put a lot of work in these cars and make them amazing, great job man
Total Respect, Amazing video. The time and perfection put into this car is beautiful. Will always love Honda and am definitely subscribing to this
Great vid. Also, good to see you include all of the cost to get your Civic looking as good as you did. I seen a lot of skills being put to good use. Keep up the good work.
That thing went from mechanic special to tuner's special, it looks freaking sick! Props.
This will probably be buried but you’re amazing dude. Just a humble guy working on Honda’s who knows his stuff. Real inspiration for anyone who wants to get into restoration or mods. Keep uploading please. :)
