I just started seeing this light a couple of days ago. And I decided to Google it. Thank God I did. I will be taking it in o get checked out ASAP
I’m leasing a Nissan Rogue, under 6,000 miles. My Rogue flashed and beeped emergency front collision lights while automatically hard breaking a week ago. Tonight, it just happened again while driving 40mph in my town with no cars in front or in back of me. While Googling- I came across this video. Taking it in to be inspected tomorrow.
How long did it take to be fixed? Mine did it this evening

Hi from Greece. I own a Nissan Rogue ( xtrail in Europe) and this light turns on several times. This light means that the automatic brake control is temporary not working because the radar is blinded for example by fog or by blinding lights, heavy rain etc. Nothing worrying has happened to me till now, although I drive under difficult conditions really often. Maybe they should upgrade the software

I just brought 2020 Nissan rogue and have the same problem, I looked at the video to turn it off, yes it worked no noise when backing out of driveway,
however, you have to turn it off each time you start your car. Doesn't stay on off. The noise is loud and very disturbing when leaving early in the morning.
Feel like i'm waking up the neighbors.
My 2019 NISSAN KICKS DOES THIS I barely got this car and it randomly has those malfunctioning signs and i was dropping off my little cousins for school I had it in drive and it SHUT OFF BY ITSELF right after those signs turned on it was really scary and I’m glad it didn’t do it while I was driving.I am definitely trading it in and never getting a Nissan again!
This just happened to me this past weekend. My husband was driving the car, and he called me frantic. Sent me a picture of what it says on the dashboard. We just got a 2018 3 weeks ago, it's going back to the dealership asap

This light flashed on me and my family last night. I didn't know what it was and the car never STOPPED SUDDENLY and I thank God for that. However, since this is a KNOWN ISSUE, #Nissan will definitely get a call if it causes an accident/injury.
Ah...I wouldn't wait until that happens. Get it in there BEFORE and INSIST that it be taken care of PERIOD...!!! You and your families lives are more important than waiting for something too happen.
My car has been doing this its a Sentra if it causes us a accident im going to be suing Nissan no questions asked..
I have a 2021 rogue and it did it to me. I didn't know about this when I bought this car.
I'm having this problem now. I took the car to Nissan, they charged me to do diagnostic test on it, they called me and stated that my brake fluids are low to do to my back brakes need to be replace. Replaced the fluid and repaired the brakes on Monday, received car on Tuesday, guess what this brake warning malfunction light is back on on Wednesday. Return car to Nissan shop, they tell me that they have to do another diagnostic test on it and that's going to cost me another $180.
You should be able to disable this feature in driving assists under settings. The car will still drive it just won't stop automatically. If you know it's a problem, shut it off till you get to the dealer. Do the same if it shows any type of sensor malfunction.
That's obvious, but it turns on automatically EVERY TIME you turn the car off and on again.
And to make things even worse, it's not like flipping a switch. You have to enter several different menus and disable forward, rear, lane departure correction, etc.
I have a 2023 kicks, the emergency brakes went of OVER 50 TIMES FOR NO REASON AT ALL.
I have a 2020 and it has the same problem.
I bought mine new in 2017, it still does this today!
Is there any update yet ? On lemon law or recall on this issue ?
Mine does this when I’m backing up. My whole dash board lights up. Mind you there is the curb in the “green” lines. It’s loud!!
I understand it when it’s raining for it to have a reason to do that. But it’s happened when the cameras were cleaned.

To n connecta diesel έχω αλλά απ ότι έκατσα και ασχολήθηκα συμπέρανα ότι το λαμπάκι αναβοσβυνει για να σε ενημερώσει ότι βγαίνει προσωρινά εκτός λειτουργίας το αυτόνομο φρενάρισμα. Μπορεί να συμβεί για 1000000 λόγους αν διαβάσεις το βιβλιαράκι αλλά η αντιπροσωπεία δεν είχε αλλά παράπονα. Δεν πιστεύω ότι έχει να κάνει με την εξοπλιστική έκδοση. Μέχρι στιγμής ομως όλα καλά. Αν παρουσιαστεί κάτι άλλο θα είμαι εδώ να τους κραζω

I own a 2016 SV as well! I bought it a month ago. Have you had any problems with the CVT?? When i drive at about 50 MPH there is a grinding noise and i cant find anythong on what it might be. It has 80K miles
Tyler Pfaff - hey. No I only have 52,000 miles on it but did change the CVT fluid just to play it safe. But I also did a full tune on because I didn’t know how the last driver drove it. And doing well. The other thing you might want to remember is let the car warm up because of the transmission fluid is not warmed up you’re going to have sputtering problems. Message me if any other questions 👍
@@tylerpfaff1625 it’s probably a good idea to change the transmission fluid if you haven’t done so already. Most people highly recommend changing it every 30,000 miles with these models. I just bought a used 2016 Rogue SL with about that many miles. I’m not having any issues with it, but I am about to have the fluid changed just to be safe... especially since I don’t really know how long it has been since the transmission was serviced (I bought it from a dealership, so I know virtually nothing. Why I keep choosing to do this, idk).
With that said, my SL has the premium package, so I also have to worry about this forward emergency braking issue. Fortunately, you can just turn it off if it’s causing problems.. but you have to go in and change the settings _every time_ you start it 😞

Oh it can happen I have an 2015 and when mines suddenly stops on me my check engine light pops on and I have to put car in park and start up it will start like it haven’t even happen smh
2021 Sentra has done it 4 or 5 times since buying in March. Brought it in to Nissan service and ask them to check it, they said they had never heard of this malfunction. Clearly A blatant lie. Gonna go back and play this report for them.

I have a 2018 Nissan rogue and I've experienced the braking, but now it turns the crash light on and my car won't start. I googled it yesterday when the light turned on, I'm scared now. Damn car just all of a sudden braked, the light turned on and the car turned off. My cousin came to help me took the battery off then put it back. Car turned on I came home. Looked like everything was fine until this morning on the driveway car wouldn't start that light symbol was on again.. car didn't want to start until I removed the battery again. Accident waiting to happen 🙏 May the Lord be with me
My mom has 2021 Nissan Kicks and her sensor that looks like has come on by itself! Is that the same issue!
It happened to me today!! The lights! Something about malfunction.. reduced power. It's a 2023 pathfinder. With only 15k miles.
my 2018 pathfinder does the same thing and not only that, then the cruise control does not work until you stop and start the car.
can the goverment do something about this???individuals are vulnerable in front of dealers/manufacturers...

Just a heads up, you can go into the settings and just turn it off, BUT you have to do it every time you start the car because it automatically reverts back to the default “on” setting

mine is a 2020 nissan sentra and i had the same malfunction happen i went in they said my bulb basically was burnt out and fixed it it’s been like 3 months and today i was driving and the AEB pedestrian detection for the front end came on no sound it just keeps blinking i tried everything and it just won’t turn off so i guess i have to go in again and see what they say, i’m just so irritated not sure why it won’t just turn off

Damn I just rented this Nissan Sentra and that same light came on. I’m driving in the rain at night in Ohio
The light is supposed 2 come on when the sensors can't see what's going on so the light comes on and that makes the system unavailable.
My 2018 Nissan Sentra did the same thing today! It frightened me, I was doing 60 miles an hour on i-95 highway, as I was pulling over , I looked at the dashboard & saw a light that I've never seen before, like two cars colliding! I was very frightened. I had shut the car off. I started it up and the light was gone. I was about 7 miles from home. A few minutes later the light came back on with a few beeping sounds. I shut the car off again, started it back up the light was gone again. It seemed to happen about every mile and a half or two!! I got home, and looked it up on Google, video prior to yours miles away from home & I didn't know what it was . I turn the ignition off and looked at the book

2019 Altima SR...collision malfunction light has come on twice, with check engine. Called Nissan they said car needs software upgrade for $480. WTF!
That's BS! If your vehicle needs vital updates which THEY SHOULD have done, it should NOT come out of your pocket.
As a Car Dealer, I tell you guys, this is a stupid system most the Nissan i sold last 5 years keep coming back to service thats evil system and of course warranty not covering most of those problems and all what’s you have to do pull your wallet and pay 2400$ to 3000$ to replace front radar and doing calibration
Its more than just the Rogue. Altimas, Maximas, sentras, they all use the same equipment

Yessss!! I bought a 2019 Sentra a month ago and that sensor's light on the dash drives me crazy!! At least it hasn't done any sudden stops like the lady's Rogue
I had the same issue, it pops up all the time and will not shut off. I have tried to call Nissan to complain and they did nothing.
My Pathfinder does the same thing.. don’t know what to do.

I have a 2019 Rogue and when washing or driving through heavy rain the light has come on. It’s goes off soon after. A vehicle pulled in front of me and almost stopped a year ago and my Rogue automatically stopped which was good. For now I’m going to uncheck automatic braking and take to dealership. With CVT transmission I drive it nicely anyway.
I have a 2020 Nissan Rogue and it happened to me. It done it a few times. It would start flashing and I'm going about 40 or 60.

I have a 2018 Nissan Sentra. The warning light is coming on while driving from Tennessee to Indiana on 8/3/21. I just had a new brake light switch installed and a battery when the problem of the warning light for AEB came on. I watched a RUclips video to find the solution. I was directed to remove the check mark from the Emergency Brake feature found in the Settings-Driver Assistance-Driving Aids. Hope this works so that I can continue my trip without another warning signal.

This happened to my 2015 Dodge Charger R/T. That forward collision warning sensor is not a good safety feature.
When i put my nissan rogue in reverse it makes a grinding sound. I was told it was the abs actuator and all nissans will do that. It will always do that
That’s your transmission get rid of it cause mine had the same problem

Omg yes that grinding sound was the 1st thing I noticed when backing out of the driveway! Since then I feel like it’s coming apart at the seams this car was my dream car I’m retired so I bought a used 2018 white one and I couldn’t believe how many white SUV’s are in street so I have pay attention when I park my car so I won’t try to open someone’s car. It’s embarrassing when that happens lol. I knew this had to was too good to be true. Seriously is anyone else noticing parts of it to be lifting or separating on the body of the car

I have a 2021 rogue...... so far this hasn’t happened to us yet.
Keep in mind that if it does start malfunctioning, you can go into the settings and turn it off. BUT, you have to do it every time you start your car... it doesn’t maintain the changes you made. So that’s kind of annoying, too.

i just finance a 2015 nissan rogue sv and 3 days latter the light came out in the road i hit the gas pedal a little bit because y was in front of a ligt stop and i thought the car goes backwars and start shaking i was by my self i reported and nissan got aproved by all state to replace the transmision also i found out this car belongs to another owner 8 monts prior and didint pass inspection it was inspected twice in massachusetts now i have to wait 2 weeks to get the car back again ass soon i can change it i will

The symbol means something is blocking your front breaking sensor. The light turning on isn’t dangerous, it just means you actually have to pay attention to surroundings. I have a 2019 rogue sport and that symbol turns on whenever it’s pouring rain, snowing, or my cars just dirty. Lol that symbol really doesn’t mean anything
This on top of all the other issues with this brand. just don't buy this brand,,, there are better ways of spending your money.

Just curious on how your case is going? My 2020 Rogue is having the same issue I have 2 written reports from the dealership of the issue. But there telling me Nissan most likely wont do anything for it.

@@jueileeneileen4808 I am sorry to tell you that Nissan doesn’t care. They will talk to you bla bla bla but will do nothing to actually solve it. And I’ve realized that when you buy a car with them, even though insured with them and having a guarantee, Nissan won’t help you but will ask you to take them to court instead. THEY KNOW THEY HAVE THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO CRUSH THEIR CLIENTS.

This is also going on with the 2021 Nissan Sentra SR. The exact same thing is going on. WTF???
I have noticed the radar on my 19 Altima is wonky and does the same thing for almost 7 months now. When the collision malfunction light comes on, it causes the check engine light to come on and it puts the engine into a safety mode. Which means the car doesn't have normal acceleration and drives slow/lethargic. This is a huge pain in the ass.
What I figured out is this happens more frequently when my car hasn't been washed for a few weeks. The dust/dirt/bugs can trigger the faults. Solution: washing your car can clear the malfunction lights. Check engine will stay on however until it is reset. You can take it to a dealer and they may charge you and say you need a software upgrade, or you can reset it at auto zone or with an app on your phone.
how come the dealer dose'nt let the customer know about the abs trouble?
My 2018 nissan rogue did it and caused me to rear end someone on the freeway.. causing me to try to get over quickly and swirve into another car..
Then it did it again, on my way home that SAME NIGHT , and made me go up onto a curb, popping both tires on that side, then now has a malfunction light everytime the cars turned on, and if u so much as try to reverse it 2 feet it makes this terrible sound.... Thanks, nissan!👍
Read your owner's manual before driving your car. She could have turned that feature off herself for her own safety

I bought mine 12/22/2020 and that light came on this past Tuesday 1/5/2021. It didnt brake but I feel it drives a little weird. Lord last thing I need is another car problem. That's why i bought a new one
