Hey guys, my first "outside of SC2 series"....series.
I played quite a bit of C&C Remastered since it's release and decided to upload my journey to attempting at reaching top 1 in the world on the 1v1 ladder. It was a rough start, but I learn pretty quickly :)

I must admit i am having fun watching the red alert game play. Lots of good memories. Just fyi, building more production structures makes your units build faster. Thanks for the content!

Hey beasty press alt + left click on infantry to crush them with your tanks. With selected infantry press X to scatter them avoid being crushed.
Also H used to focus your construction yard.
Also, press X+F to run them over feet first, X+H to run over their head first, or X+S to run them over sideways.
If you can sneak up behind an infantry unit press CTRL+RSHFT+T+B+L to tie their bootlaces together. This counters the X so he won’t be able to scatter from your tank.

The music and the sound effects for building and movement sure bring back some real memories.
If you hold alt you can force move and use tanks to crush infantry
Also Ctrl and click on ground where the enemy tank is going to move to will increase damage due to direct hit
Ctrl + click to guard a unit
F to lock a group of units 8n formation, which they will try their best to keep even while moving

I used to play this multiplayer over 36.6k dial up modem.. who knew, that.. like, what.. 20+ years I'd be still playing/watching this game. Haha.
I'm so happy you're playing this game. This was my obsession as a child and then I moved to SC, SCBW, and SC2. So following you from SC2 and seeing you play a game I used to invest countless hours in is so sick.
I cannot wait till Tiberiun Sun gets this treatment!

This brings me back... One of the first computer games I ever played on Windows 98
I never played C&C but it is fun to watch Beasty play.
The multi-tasking is insane. Kudos.
I've seen you miss this plenty of time making things difficult for yourself. If you hold Alt, if I remember correctly, you can prompt a move command making it easier to run over infantry with your vehicles/tanks. And when you build multiple factories / barracks etc the unit production will be quicker. Oh and the service depot repairs vehicles. The engineer is the guy who can take over buildings but in R.A the building needs to be on red hp b4 doing so compared to the first game.
Does he know that building more than one War Factory makes vehicles build faster?

FIRST!! BeastyQT you are best!
Also BeastyQT, if you want to run over infantry, hold ALT, then click LMB on infantry. This is force movement command and its much easier to eliminate infantry this way, than shooting or clicking past them.
I bought this game and its great. Lot of fun. Money well spent.
Infantry are OP if you can micro them well, and sometimes a quick little ACP can take out an entire platoon of infantry if you do it right.
Use H button more to get back to your Construction Yard.
Trust me it will be one really handy shortcut.

How do you have all structures selected to see their health meter?
Yo beasty, I've seen you already are crushing on ladder. I'm just wondering, do you already know about the "Q-Move" and "Alt-Force-Move"? These are essential for C&C and they will let you shoot without interruption while moving arround (units only get 10% dmg while moving) and also directly move ontop of units. its the best way to squish infantry. If you want I can go into more detail. Keep it up!

Waiting for Alex to realize the tech jump and switch into helipads and runways. Funny that he always takes to the air in SC2 but not in C&C.
Beasty if you build some Factory the tanks go Up a little bit faster, the same thinx with the barracks and the principal building.
The thing to cheese on RA is power snipe. and X is to split :P

Good morning Beasty, perfect timing to log on and see my favourite streamer is at it again.
After seeing the guys get run over, I was expecting the tanks to crash into each other and exchange insurance information.
One more thing. Refinery cost about 1400 (if i remember well)
Selling gives you 700, but ore truck remains on field
War factory ore truck cost 1000
So building refinery, then selling it is generally more efficient.
Refinery is 2000, and sells for 300. Ore Trucks are worth 1400.

A Path beyond is pretty much the most popular map in the entire hisotry of C&C, surprised you don't know it
i loved command and conquer when i was a kid but i feel like theres not as much strategy as other games. seems like it was always like just tank rush or something

I think the most known map in RA
multiple war factories make you build tanks faster.
infantry is pretty underpowered.
use defense buildings. they do good damage and can be repaired.
you can build walls to block paths, at least until you enemy destroys the walls.
helicopters are good for hit and run tactics. they are vulnerable to rocket soldiers.

Nah, the path finding on these games is pretty bad and you can auto split your units by hitting ‘X’.
Yes it’s a big weakness in the game, competitive strategies almost always revolve around mass tanks imo in tiberian sun they introduced an emp cannon which counters mass mech and also the tanks are a bit slower which makes squishing less viable. Still kind of a problem though.

I think seeking the refinery was a game losing decision in the last game.
I can't play games like Red Alert, Age of Empires and such multiplayer because I just want to build a fancy base, not units and fight.

You post videos of games against very weak players. BTW the option of elimitate all buildings to win is something you click on before you enter the game, and I really enjoyed the last game where you lost lol, lot's of laughter

Try not to sell refinaries, the pathing on ore trucks are really bad and the last game getting more trucks actually hurts you because they block each other.

long time fan here. I just came here to say I prefer your SC2 content. I know, I know, "don't watch it", but it's disheartening not to get my daily dose of some of that juicy salt.
