@captain scentsible39 that would’ve interesting to see. Eddie was a legit luchador whereas Tito was trained in the states by Matsuda like Hall and Hogan. In fact, when they wrestled at the Worlds Collide pay per view, Tito got booed.

Tito!! He looks great!! When I started watching wresting at age 12, he was on the Saturday morning wrestling show every week!! I started watching around the time that he was tag partners with Rick Martel in Strike Force just before Martel turned heel, ah the good old days of WWF!

... Funny to me that you asked him about Nailz there at the end. It quickly brought a memory back to me: I saw Tito in the Legion Hall in Steelton, Pennsylvania sometime around 2010. I introduced myself to him and when he heard my name it was off to the races with stories about his "friend Nailz". I was never a fan of the character Nailz, but I always enjoyed his previous stint as Magnificent Kevin Kelly!
Good memories. Tito is a good guy. 👍👍

I always liked Ric its funny how Terry Funk or others got in. Shame about Koke but I guess Duggan is pretty tough dude. I can't believe he had that Intercontinental Belt all this time as always thought he tossed in trash after a show. Though I guess he had at home gym heh. I was never a fan of Snuka. Could always tell something was wrong about him or off. Hulk Hogan would not let the Union happen. Bundy did not seem happy as I recall him on Moving with Richard Pryor or Married With Children. I think he was one of Peggy's Relatives. I like to hear about all these stories about them fighting. Tito I don't really remember him in Football. Ivan Putsky or so remember rarely saw him. Though he did seem to Win often if I did haha ;).

In late 2000 I met Tito and Tony Atlas at a car show in Calgary, Alberta. Lou Albano was supposed to be there with Tito but he could not make it. Got an autograph and had a nice convo with the both of them. Calgary was still talking about Owen Hart's death and I was talking about how I could not watch anything since early 90's because I was tired of Vince and his bullshit with how he was ruining the business with the theatrics. They seemed to understand. Class acts. Both of them.

No way his T shirts were outselling Hogans lol. But its kinda ridiculous the wrestlers didn't get at least 50% of the royalties of their merch. It's only fair as the company can't sell merch without them and the wrestlers can't really get over and sell their likeness without the wrestling company. So it's 50/50 and the royalties should have reflected that but typical Vince, has to screw them and be greedy.

I think Tito was hired in May 1983 because WWF was expanding into Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Jose. This was a big risk and they felt that they needed a Mexican to challenge Muraco in those markets.
And that's what happens. Tito is getting IC title shots out there before the main arenas like Madison Square Garden.
As for why there is no footage of Tito beating Muraco for the IC title in Boston, it's simple.
WWF hired a cameraman to tape the match because Boston Garden matches weren't being televised as of yet.
The cameraman used a 30 minute betacam. He taped some footage and pre match interviews. Then the time for each wrestler to walk to the ring, intros, the tape ran out.
