Come along with me as I assemble this bookcase. Instructions included. Tips on what pitfalls to watch out for during assembly. Great for storage of books, games and plants.
This a relatively simple project that shows take you about 25-35 mins (if you are not video taping 😀)

Thank you for this great instructional video. It made it so easy to assemble. I'm using my shelf to store fabric in my sewing room. Is it absolutely necessary to bolt it to the wall??? There are no children or pets in my house, I'm thinking not. Thanks again!

Thanks for watching my video and the feedback. No, it's not absolutely necessary to attach it to the wall. I don't have mine attached to this wall and it's just fine. If your floors are relatively flat and stable then it shouldn't be a problem.

What about using shims to tilt the bookcase back a little to prevent tipping over? Wouldn't that be adequate? I rent and can't afford to make big holes in walls.

Thanks for watching my video and the ultra-kind feedback. In my experience if you have a flat floor the wall attachment is not needed. I've used mine for years without it. The wall attachment was introduced because little kids were climbing on them, causing them to tip over. You can also use scratch floor protectors in the front of the unit and the very top on the back where it may hit the wall so it protects the wall also. Hopefully that helps.

I want to place this in a corner, not flat against the wall. I hope i can still bolt it to the wall even if it’s in the corner
