I like your Chanel, and teaching you’re children, because if we don’t have time for children, we don’t have time for anything. Keep up the fantastic Project’s
Rubber baby buggy bumpers. Nice project. But the best part was seeing the kids getting hands on with the tools. This will lead to a lifelong love of woodworking.
Hey Chris. I am a new viewer to your channel and the only problem I see is, when I finish binge watching all of your videos in one day, then I have to wait for more. You have a great personality, a great eye for detail and you are a wonderful example to your kids. Keep up the good work and may God bless everything that you do.
I enjoy your videos. The fact that you show that you are human (mistakes being made) I think is absolutely great. So many videos are out there that don't show this human nature. I commend you on your efforts and adore your enthusiasm with your projects and your KIDS
Great project. Great build. Yes, mistakes happen, but you are one of a few makers that sharing them. Thank you my friend. Tell your daughter that she has a big subscriber fan. I think your son was about to measure himself with that framing square. They both are just lovely. You are blessed indeed. Stay safe and healthy my friend.
Nice rack/cart, Chris. Just finished building mine today. Very much like and needed. Allowed me to cull through and toss a bunch of stuff I’ve been storing. Love that your daughter is in the shop. She’ll learn valuable skills.
And just fyi... HD has 4” really sweet dual locking casters for $9 LOVE the clamp storage and pull out shelf for a few more sheets of baltic birch is fantastic!
I was actually just thinking about making some horizontal racks for storing my parallel bar clamps! Gotta stop "storing" them in a pile in the corner, ha.
I think this might not be hard for me to make, but right now I'm worn completely out watching you fly around that shop levitating wood etc..Love the idea of this. I really need one.❤️
My son will be 21 in August this summer and hope he finds the same solitude and joy of woodworking that I do. Lord knows he will inherit a pretty dang cool shop and tools 😉
Always enjoy your videos - interesting projects and good explanations. Plus the moments with your kids are special - I learnt so much growing up by hanging out with my Dad in the garage/workshop.
Chris awesome! story I've been doing custom woodworking for over 30 years and you managed to inspire this old goat great job. brings back great memories in the shop with my three girls when they were young enjoy these days keep up the good work.
I love the idea of adding a cleat wall for clamp storage on the back of the lumber cart... I am absolutely stealing that idea when I get to put a shop together again. And the shop help is adorable I find myself laughing with almost every segment you include of her.
I am fairly new to this, I came across your channel and the build was spectacular!! No plans, No cut sheet, did I say I was new to this. I am going to give a try and have subscribed to your channel. Great video, thanks.
I am about to expand my small wood shop (10x12) to a whopping 10x16. One of these sheet goods and clamps units just went to the top of the To Build list. Thanks!
Dude, i mean this with all i have, you're one of the best woodworking channels out there. Its very clear to see your channel is gonna skyrocket soon, youre such a humble guy & your personality is super contagious (is it weird to talk about another man like this?) hahah. Keep up the great work homie, thanks for all you do to bring us these amazing videos!
Codie thank you so much that really means a whole lot to me. A funny moment happened at work bench con as well this year. I was giving a small talk and told the audience I’ve never hugged this many men in my life LOL so I understand bro no big deal pretty cool stuff. Thank you so much again it would be a dream if this channel will skyrocket. I hope you’re doing well my friend stay safe
Hey Chris call Jorgensen tell them you have a commercial. Show your daughter taking the clamps and say so easy a child can do it. Just send me my 10 percent agent fee. Lol 😆
@@AGlimpseInside - I ordered a kit also, with the three kinds of glue and accelerator, but I have not had a chance to use it. Still sitting on the kitchen table.
Hey Chris I am just really getting started in woodworking. I would appreciate your opinion on what would be a good table saw. Also, I wanna say your channel is so inspirational. Your optimism and awesome attitude is so great to watch. You have really inspired me to get back into building things. Keep up the great work and being a wonderful father. Happy Father’s Day early from one Dad to another.
Gaven Grace thanks so much buddy. As far as a table saw to get started with, I used a rigid for 10 years before I upgraded to my sauced up. I believe it was around $500. It was a great saw and honestly I have no complaints about it. That’s my recommendation. I would stay away from job site sauce unless you’re going to get the sauce top version which is actually a pretty darn good soul. But I believe it’s around seven or $800. Anyway thanks brother I appreciate it and happy Father’s Day to you as well
Nice job as always. Keep us updated on the sturdiness without glue. I sometimes find myself just forgetting to put glue on before I get it assembled and have to go back and put it in. BTW, I'm stealing that Star Wars joke! I love seeing the fam helping out, it makes it worth it
Father of 4 myself... please make sure the thing cannot topple forward on that sheet side when all loaded up. . Especially that weight, momentum and wheels, hitting a piece of scrap, screw or rock on the floor while moving. I am stealing this by the way... you impress me in more ways than one. I wait for your next video - usually impatiently. And still covet the response/resolution to the overhead nailer in the new shop.
Ok serious question. What is your preferred method for using the table saw while kids are riding bikes around the outfeed table? Elbow/knee pads and helmets? Full PPE? Or just wing it with flip flops and bare feet? Still my favorite maker channel - great job as always. All kidding aside, one of my biggest challenges is trying to watch kids and work in the shop at the same time. So if you have any tips, it might make a good video one week, especially since more kids are home nowadays.
Thank you so much for the kind words quite frankly I keep everything really high up on this French cleat walls in anything that is down low is completely safe for the kids or at least I think so right?. There really is no secret sauce in my opinion. You just Gotta be mindful and also when the kids are with me I’m building at about 50% speed because of that but that’s the sacrifice that is wonderful to pay
Kinda looks like a glass rack, the only thing i would add is some tie down points for ratchet straps just so when you move it around you have no chance a stray sheet can fall off. Either way it is cool and i just want to build one!! Btw your kids are little angles, both i mine are teenagers now and have way to much attitude.......
I would have thought you would need glue for strength, but if it is working for you, that is great. I need to build a lumber / sheet-goods cart. The one I have now is so heavy it won't roll. The casters are too under-powered (flimsy) and I literally slapped it together with materials I had available one weekend when I got back from the store with a bunch of ply and didn't have a place to put it.
What is this miracle? A child who puts things away as soon as asked!!! Where did you find this unicorn!?? 😀 Jokes aside really nice work on the cart. I'm trying to think if I can make one big enough for 4x8 sheets, pretty much everything here in New Zealand comes in full size sheets 1200mm X 2400mm.
This unit could hold 4 x 8 sheets with a bit of overhang on each side. Just remember it doesn’t have to be the size of the plywood. Thanks for commenting! I appreciate it. And yes she is an angel
Bro your channel rocks I love the content and I can't wait for you to blow up just keep posting videos try and do it twice a week you have a lot of great talent and we all want to see more of it God bless bro 🙏

As always supurb build and commentry, not ready to build this yet but know where to come when im ready buddy. If you had created a PDF file with the plans, i'd of saved it in my Adobe Wan Kenobi.
Cool storage rack~! I like that extra capacity with the pull-out and the clamp storage on the flip-side. Looks like something I need to put on my To-Do list. Hey, from what distributor do you order your plywood? We've got nothing here in Augusta, GA, for sourcing Baltic Birch ply, so I'm reduced to ordering wood (of all kinds). Thanks much~!
Hey Chris, my question is kinda-sorta related... I guess??? I am planning a shop build. Thinking about both wood frame and metal like you have. Question, on a metal frame, is it strong enough to hold a wall mounted wood rack? I noticed you don’t have anything that heavy on your walls. Thx!
I'm curious what you use to protect your daughter's hearing when power tools are running? BTW you are making memories that she will remember all her life.
Well so far She’s doing it herself by putting her hands up to her ears. However I did order, a couple of days ago two sets of Child’s headphones or earmuffs for that matter
I have recently been revising my workbenches and tool carts and I have quit using glue on shop projects. Several projects from the beginning of my woodworking hobby have been taken apart and the wood has been repurposed. Glued parts are difficult to disassemble without destroying at least some of wood. So for me its just screws and the occasional brad nail for shop furniture.
hey Chris, you should consider making some vids n building gym equipment (squat rack etc) could probably get some killer views with gyms closed rn; Cheers
