- I finally install a set of 4:10 gears (ford racing) to my 2011 mustang.
Work and life have gotten in the way of progressing with this car
But it's not time to see if we can run a 9 second 1/4 mile with this very basic setup.

Just swapped my 3.31s out for some 3.73s. That box of shims that Donny had would of been a major time saver for me. 😂😫

Got 3.73 in my tr6060 swapped 2012 gt, 4th gear is topping out somewhere over 150mph I think 160mph and I’m NA so that’s a no go for me the shop told me 3.73 was gonna be fine
what size tire u on? and what gears you got now?
Sounds about right.. my ls3 camaro with tr6060 tops 4th about 160mph 3.45 rear and 28 inch tall tires

In one of your other videos you said that 4.10 gears are terrible
probably with an MT 82 transmission. Yes they're terrible. The 3.73 aren't that good (in terms of daily driving) either since they're very noisy gears.
Angel They are in the t45, but not in the t56 the gear ratios are a little more spread out so you be having to shift every .5 seconds
@@coreymoseley6710 4.10 are not bad with a t45. I had 410 in my bolt on 97 cobra and wished I'd went 456 afterwords like many other people have with older bolt on na cobras that gear works awesome with those cars shifting at 7k. You don't have to shift every half second lol. Unless you don't like to go above 2k when normal driving which idk why you wouldn't wanna do that.

Doesn’t the GT500 have the same trans gearing with 331’s? I thought it did. The 875 rwhp GT500 I drove felt great with 3.31’s and 2.66 1st gear. It made a shit ton of torque too. What’s different about your setup that the 331’s don’t work for you?
We also hit a 9.89 @ 157 on welds and slicks, with those gears.
Which rear springs exactly? Because FR has alot of different options...

I mean I wouldn't. Only reason he does this is because the t56 mag has a double overdrive
@@TheEternallifeskater its not just that it has double overdrive the entire gear ratios are different 1st gear on it isn't nearly as aggressively geared as the mt82 is so you need like 4.30 to be similar to 373 with the mt82 410 (with a t56) would be kind of like 355 in the mt82m.
If the car was still Mt82 you would have stayed with 3.31 right?

I think your going to find more suspension tuning issues with the 4.10 that the 3.31 help hide.
Not exactly. He had MT 82 before with 3.31 gears. Now he has T56 with 4.10 and he said that it is very similar to the MT 82. I believe his suspension is already tuned for 3.31 MT 82
4.11 will have more torque at the wheels where the mt82 applied the torque through the trans and driveshaft. Simple physics. Thats part of why the t65 is stronger...
@@joeinmi8671 that don't even make sense lol. Its not gonna have more torque with 4.10. The trans ratios are totally different so 410 is gonna be very similar gearing with a t56 that 331 is with an mt82. Its gonna be very similar little difference. It doesn't matter if the gearing is coming from the rear or the trans similar gearing is similar gearing. You can even effect it with tire size it doesn't matter how you go about it similar gearing is similar gearing.

Why can't you people understand that a t56 is geared TOTALLY different from an 11-17 mt82? 4.10 in the t56 is very similar to 331 in an 11-17 mt82 trans why is that so hard for you guys to grasp?
