Great job setting pinion depth, preload on the bearings, swapping pinion seal, then setting the backlash on the ring! I've never seen it done that fast!
Way too edited. Changing the final drive ratio and setting up the final drive gears is not something an amateur can do unless they know what they are doing and this video does not show that. Do not attempt it unless you have the training. There is also a fundamental error in Ed's narrative. He changed from a 3.08 :1 ratio to a 3.73:1 ratio. That makes the rear wheels turn slower for a given rpm not faster, but with a greater torque.
Agreed. for some reasons the last season with Edd is full of things explained too shortly and that I didn't understand. The weird thing is that when Ant came along, everything was like before. Really, the 13th Wheeler Dealers season was very weird.
@@Snarl616 that's simple, it became "Americanised" i.e. lots of content done cheaply, rather and the more methodical patient explaining that the British audience would watch. They just trying to appeal to markets at once and it didn't really work

What I mean is, Mike, who was driving the car eeerraahh, , or beating the car? Who does that to a car especially if you're gonna sell it for a profit? He could've broken a "U" joint and now you gotta fix that now too?? I'm sorry, I've never liked that guy! Ed's a great guy!!! That's all.

These later eposodes with Ed? When he's around Mike? His attitude is shitty. You can tell, he has reached a point where he resents people and his situation. Mike said in a interview that Ed never got sacked or fell out with people but if you read between the lines? Ed is probally sick of his position and rank?? Aparantly Ed wanted more time off. Moving to USA, instead of more hrs of filming, he wanted chill out time and beach time.
