    Thank you, very good instructions. I've been a lifelong seamstress, but I never had a machine where the bobbin lay flat. Again, great job.

      @@coolcalmapril6850 All cotton, heavy canvas for the outside, soft cotton sheet for the inside. All prewashed. HEPA vacuum bag cut to fit inside the two layers. God speed and blessings.

    • @deistite1
      @deistite1 4 года назад +6

      Jorge Castellanos the vacuum bags are made with small fiberglass particles that can damage the lungs so you don't want to use that (I had to cancel my amazon order after finding this out). Use air filters instead. 1500 or 2200 Filtrete. There's a video that shows how to get the filter out. You'll get a ton of filters out of it!

I haven't sewed in years. I had a seamstress friend, & when I had to move, my dtr did my mending. She doesn't anymore. BUT!!! God answered my prayer & gave me you!! So calm. So patient. Bless you!

    Hello, I am a granny ''new bee''...first time using a machine. My LX3817 was delivered today and I wasn't sure how the bobbin was to be inserted properly. The manual didn't help at all and the DVD won't play in my outdated laptop. Thank you so much for this video. I will come back to it whenever I am unsure of installation. I, know eventually things will begin to flow...once I become used to utilizing my machine. New subscriber, God bless you.

I received my first sewing machine/LX3817 for Christmas (2020) and it has been sitting in the box for 2 months. I had a friend show me how to sew some simple pillows on her machine before Christmas. I just drug my new sewing machine from the spare room and I am going to attempt to make some curtains for the windows on our front and back door this week. Hopefully you have some tutorials on how to make simple pocket rod curtains. I will definitely be looking for some of your other sewing tutorials! Thanks again!

    The absolute best memories I had with my mother was when she would sew the most beautiful outfits for me. I would buy an outfits from the mall and she would recreate it to a much higher quality and then I would get my money back. I wish I had asked her to teacher me, but I was only her mannequin😂 I bought a sewing machine around 1992-93 and the front-loading bobbin kept jamming up. I only made a vest and then a co-worker asked if she could borrow it, and I never saw my machine again. Now 30 years later I'm about to buy this machine from Walmart for only just $88.
