His work with the firm was also great
He was also the lead singer for Queen for awhile after Freddy passed. He still rocks today.

Paul Rodgers is the defintion of rock and roll soul. His voice is as smooth as butter.
Oh oh YES! You keep hitin the ones I love without even asking. I know Lex will dig every B.C song that comes up. This is their latter stuff. After this Roger joined up with Jimmy Page to form The Firm. They generated some really good tunes also.
Saw the Firm in Austin on their first tour. What great concert.

Paul Rogers took Freddy Mercury’s place in Queen after Freddy’s passing for a while. Although Paul and Freddy have different voices, Paul’s voice worked great with Queen’s music.
Waco, Texas with 3 of my greatest friends, new car had a cassette player and my friend ran into the music store and bought this for me. This song was blasting and we were young, and felt so good. Thank y'all again for bringing great music?

This group was one of our favorites to get stoned and listen to. In the dark with just a black light watching the traces. Lol. We were grown so it was ok.
Nice choice, they were always fantastic when I saw them, criminally underrated band and Paul Rodgers is one of the best lead singers of all time, whether in front of Free, Bad Company, The Firm or even giving Queen a hand, Paul always brought the best he could to whatever project he was working on. For more from him try Ready for Love, the Live version from Hard rock Live about 15 years ago was one of the best things I ever saw/heard them do, amazing g rock jam ending that gives me chills every time I hear it. Enjoy! 🎸
P.S. Also checkout Paul's Muddy Waters blues project, he has a amazing array of guitarists on it, each doing a song or 2 and he had Neil Schon from Journey in his house band. Try I just Want to Make Love to You with Jeff Beck on scorching lead guitar.
Definitely not underrated....just the new generation is brainwashed with all the main stream garbage and dont even know good music exists. Thats prolly why i enjoy these reactions lol...to see people hearing great music for the first time

Paul Rodger's (vocalist) was also in a supergroup "The Firm",... Paul Rodgers, guitarist Jimmy Page, drummer Chris Slade, and bass player Tony Franklin. They have some great songs...cover's as well. "Satisfaction Guaranteed",..."Radioactive" & "Midnight Moonlight Lady" come to mind...

This came out when I was in junior high and my sister bought the 45 RPM single and played it constantly. And you really noticed it Lex, that was one of the first albums in rock to use so-called syn drums, short for synthesizer drums. It was regular drums but he would have a couple extra toms that you hit and it triggers a synthesizer sound. Also, this music was played sometimes at parties where there were lots of women and lots of drinking and lots of fights. So don't let the basic feel of it fool you.
So many great songs by these musicians.

One of the most tasteful electric drum sounds from back when artists were tempted to overuse something new, like when synth keyboards were unleashed.
Love this song, takes me back to my 20s. Everybody has given y'all a few songs to react to, so I'll give you another one that hasn't been listed. Try out Electricland, also from Bad Co., from their 80s album 10 from 6.
One of the party groups we heard in the 70's. Blasting & living our youth with wild abandon. Still enjoy this at age 65.

Lex has a t-shirt with 'journey tour 81'. if i recall, that was the escape tour that I actually went to at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Was great. I was 14-15 years old, really awesome. I think Loverboy may have opened for them, but not entirely sure.
