      Chefs are not doctors, doctors are doctors. Doctors can only treat what you give them to work with.
      If you feed your body disease, you will need a doctor and medicine. If you feed your body Whole Foods, you will have little need of a doctor.

      @@iamthebadwolf7296 I understand your need to be a smartass but you missed the point..."doctors and medicine" don't even work and make you even more sick so your logic is failed. PLANTS AND VEGGIES is the real medicine and CHEFS know how to prepare those medicines, not doctors. Think before you type.

      Corsican lulu do you exercise? I walk on the beach with my dog for about 2 hours a minimum of 4 times a week, I try to do it everyday but sometimes that dang life gets in the way. Also our bodies and brains react differently to stimuli. Don't compare yourself to other people, the causes of depression are varied, diet and exercise are just 2 of the stimuli that affect it. Depression is a hard illness to cope with and get over. Don't feel deflated, you'll find your way

After a week I felt lighter, decided to try again the following week which turned into a Month, one month turned into three and now 13 years plant based and meat free , the end result, 120 pounds lost, NATURALLY. I wish certain members of my family would adopt a plant-based diet because of their chronic health conditions, but they're obviously not interested.. so I have to set the best example that I can for *me* - - and *for the animals* . It's just a lonely road when you're the only vegan in a family full of omnivores. 😖

She decided to turn her life around by eating plant-based and when she had her next check-up later the clog cleared away significantly. • @FlatEarthLuvr
      @FlatEarthLuvr 5 лет назад +1

      t starr me a sheep to mainstream? Pretty sure veganism is way more mainstream than carnivore. Just like yoga, veganism is constantly promoted on tv, RUclips, magazines, and in the grocery store. What is said is not absolutely false since there are undeniably nutrients lacking in a plant based diet. “Essential” fatty acids, b12, A, K, DHA, and cholesterol are absent in plants. Not only are they absent, but many plants contain anti nutrients like endocrine disruptors and oxalates, for example. Unlike you, I actually have done research. And I’ve experienced both sides. Veganism left me with nothing but rashes, bad mood, fatigue, and bloat. Meat heals...you should really look into it before you do major damage to your human animal body.

    • @MsSavyy
      @MsSavyy 3 года назад

      But the food companies are telling them what to do. It is food companies sellng that vegans ideology. They make great money on that. Also, going vegan in most of countries means importing hella amount of plant based food, which bascially means not a fresh, nor natural food. For eexample in my country, plants do not grow for most of the year because we have winter season. If you see what vegans eat and how these foods are marketed, it is not fresh food. I think people should go vegan if it makes them happy and healthy but it should not be a philosophy or a matter of morality.

    • @MsSavyy

      @@gracjankoprowski8252 The highest example of moral teachings is written in Bible/Torah or Koran. This is what society holds as moral standards. Wether you like it or not. Personally, I don't always like what is written in there but I have to agree, wether I like it or not. So if you want to come up with new moral standards, you are making a new religion/institiuotion/philosophy. And you are free to do it, go ahead, it is a free country. But based on fact that you have Polish name, you must realize that Poland cannot survive on plant-based diet only? There is cold season there; storing vegetables for winter as your diet is gonna leave you deficient in a lot of things.

      @mustafaibnabdullah6392 6 лет назад +1

      Kyle Thain there is nothing wrong with dairy, if the milk comes from grass-fed animals. You see you got to see the whole picture, if you live a life the way our ancestor did, you would grow your crops, get your fruits nuts vegetables and starches, your village would have a Shepard that would take your goats and sheep to grasslands and mountains, the sheep would proces those wild amazingly nutritious plants into pure milk, meat, skin, fat, woll, bone broth (look up the health benefits) the milk could be consumer right away but soon it would turn sour, so you could make probiotic yogurt -butter or ghee for longer storage, or turn to cheese for the winter. A sheep is like juicer, it extracts the nutrients turns it to pure milk. And manny other products as mentioned above. But it is the juicer made by god. The same way a horse is the natures race motor, or potential car if a wagon is added. A donkey is for luggage, called a burden animal. It consumes far less energy then the horse so in some cases it may be more ideal. A bee is the natures sugar producer, but with slots of benefits added. But today people are totally disconnected with nature. With the traditional way of living. Everything we need, Allah has manifested for us in different forms. And everything we need is provided by Allah for us. It is impossible and not sustainable to go to the traditional people and say go live on whole food alone. Except perhaps in the tropical regions where food can be grown YEAR round.

      QUESTIONS well I have pretty much heard all the good and bad arguments about milk. Milk that is raw, coming from a animal that has lived in nature, has grazed grasses is one of the perfect foods one can consume. The milk is the product of the way the animal has lived and eaten. My father was a Shepard in Afghanistan in his younger years, he told me story's of the sheeps that ate the herbs and flowers of the mountains and when you milked them the milk came out as if it was a thick cream and when you ate it, it was as if you got intoxicated. The milk is the manifestation of the food, the love that the animal has received. The animal is like a chef, if you give the chef love a good environment and great produce, he will give you a amazing dish. Disconnect people don't get that.

      So many people place their trust in online information that may not be accurate. Try using your common sense and the natural instincts God gave you. You don't need to consult with a website and think it is written in stone. Everyone wants to believe they know more than others, but we have to find the answers from within ourselves and also from Nature and common sense. The Holy Bible never said don't eat meat. In the old testament, when there was no refrigeration, man was told not to eat pork, due to spoilage and disease, but meat, bread, fruit, nuts, and plant food was the diet that was considered acceptable and necessary for good health. The children drank water and the adults drank wine with their main meal, but not to excess.

    4:55-5:25 absolute truth! I was vegetarian for about 6 months from January to June of this year. I was a person who had chronic allergies since a child. I would get raccoon eyes, had to see specialists, I would have to lube my eyes at night because they would be swollen and stuck shut in the morning. I would have to get steroid shots while in college and would also sneeze at least 27 times per class. But God, He gave everything we need within everything He has already given us... your food is your medicine. By simply cutting out meat I went through spring without issue, I had little to no problems! God is good, and knowledge is indeed power!

    So inspiring to watch this. Thanks so much for creating it. I've been vegan and chemical-free (i.e. no carcinogens or toxic chemicals in my personal care products) since 1996 and people are always surprised to learn how young I am! I don't get sick like my friends with colds, flu, coughs, etc and have lots of energy, clear thoughts, and no sad, angry vibrations from the death of animals or the sadness from their child being taken away from them after just 24 hours. I used to live near a dairy farm and you could hear the cows' cries from losing their children echo hauntingly for weeks across the valley in Somerset, UK. Research phytic acid and learn why it's important to not add raw cacao into smoothies or eat after any meal, not to mention all the other nuts, seeds and grains that contain it and why it's important to prepare these foods properly so your body can absorb all the nutrition from your food. Most of us are mineral and vitamin deficient. Get educated about what those symptoms are and make sure you're eating food state fully absorbable organic-based supplements. Liquid form is usually the best.
    It's also important to know however that soya, is NOT a healthy option. It de-activates the enzyme trypsin in the stomach and so inhibits your absorption of plant-based protein, unless of course it's fermented e.g. miso or tempeh. Avoid all other forms of soya e.g. soya milk, tofu, soy sausages/burgers etc. Drink other plant-based milks e.g. hemp, oat, almond, etc instead.. Once we really get that we are what we eat - what we put in our bodies, and not only that, we are what we put on our bodies e.g. creams, make-up, deodorant, toothpaste etc and we are what we allow to be around our bodies too e.g. Wifi, mobile phones, cordless phones, smart meters, wifi peripherals e.g. speakers, printers, etc and most chemically-created personal care products that are sold as so-called "natural" by the big brands, are bio-accumulating in our bodies and actually making us fat! Our bodies do their best to keep the blood as pure as possible by storing these toxins in pockets of fat, so if you want to lose weight, you actually have to detox first. Always ask a qualified health professional who's got experience in how to detox safely. It's an art!
    It's also important to know that confusion has been caused in the media about fluoride by removing the first part of the chemical that's beneficial for our teeth, which is calcium fluoride. Sodium fluoride is actually the main constituent of rat poison (Google it) and is a byproduct of the aluminium smelting and phosphate fertiliser industry and is NOT good for your teeth. It actually causes you be more docile, and susceptible to suggestion. It was first tested on inmates in concentration camps in Nazi Germany.
    I would like the next movement of pro-active awareness to change the frequency of the technology we use daily, so that it no longer is damaging to our health. Most of the genuine research comes out of Germany. Research Freiburger Appeal from 2002 signed by over 30,000 doctors, scientists, academics etc because they'd read that research! Watch "Resonance - Beings of frequency" on RUclips here and notice that a cordless phone put in a bee hive makes all the bees leave and they never come back and yet most of us carry a mobile phone in our pockets or bags 24/7, maybe not thinking about whether that's affecting your heart, blood pressure, brain function, your mental focus, stress levels, your DNA, or your sperm count or your unreleased eggs in your womb. Ex-Navy radiation expert Barrie Trower from the UK has put out a PDF that's available here eeshirahart.net/wifi-health-dangers/ which is designed to be used in a court of law. Go here for my latest wifi and technology tips to protect you, your friends and family from exposure to EMF's and spread the word please! eeshirahart.net/wifi-and-technology-tips. All we need to do is actually change these transmitting frequencies to make them beneficial for us and all it takes is enough consumers to DEMAND that the companies that provide these services and technology make those changes NOW. Bees globally have been killed off by up to 85-90% in some countries and bees pollinate our food. Kill the bees and we've got a massive survival problem. Let's change this for the sake of the bees, our planet and our species! Together we MAKE a huge difference. If we can go VEGAN, we can go HEALTHY VIBE too! Who's reading this that wants to take up that challenge? I'm passionate about the power of sound frequency for healing and have many things to offer anyone setting up that project. Please message me here or on my RUclips channel.

    I had a health scare last year at 25 years old. The doctor told me that I had high blood pressure and my cholesterol was getting pretty high and I was also overweight. I decided to go vegan after giving it a thought for several years. Within the first two months I lost 15 pounds without even trying (I wasn't working out because I blew my back out before going vegan). All I did was change my diet but I was still drinking a lot of alcohol. I stopped drinking alcohol and my face started looking brighter and clearer. Now my cholesterol is back to healthy levels and I no longer have high blood pressure. I'm good! I have started eating a lot more junk food though so I'm not the healthiest but I'm starting to cut back on those as well. Now I'm alert when I wake up and I'm not always drowsy. Veganism saved me.

    Remember People There is a difference between a Vegan and a Whole food Plant based diet. Processed foods are just as dangerous as meat, dairy, and other animal products. You can't just cut out these food products without proper substitution. Oreos and Taco Bell are Vegan but that will kill you faster than drinking bleach. Exaggerating but you get the point. Food shouldn't have an ingredient label if it does then it should only be one item listed. Not an entire essay as the ingredients. Shop in only the produce section if you want to convert. Be smart not wreck-less. If you need to detox do it raw and fruit based. Conversion is not easy and it doesn't happen overnight unless you're like me and you're life is on the line. P.S I'm more then well now :)

    When I was in high school growing up on a farm I use to be the most anti-vegan bastard you could imagine. I've been overweight or obese since 1st grade. As I've gotten older, my cholesterol and blood pressure have been on the rise to where I'm not far away from my doctor pushing pills on me. I don't want to live the rest of my life on pills. I've tried all the various tips on trying to restrict calories and eat healthier, but it always included meat and dairy and I could never seem to resist that cookie (which would always turn into 4 or 5 cookies). I'm on Day 4 of eating WFPB. My blood pressure consistently before I tried this was 140/85. Today it's 120/75. On day 2 I felt better than I ever have - more energy, no more aches in my joints. No other dieting has had those kind of quick results. Furthermore, there are some fantastic recipes out there that make it that much easier to sustain is you just open your mind to different ways of cooking and eating. I have a lot of confidence and hope in the early days of this journey!

No exercising, I only Focused On My Diet by having a 75-80% vegetarian diet, cut out the drive-thrus, no sodas, and increased daily water. My go to plants were: Spinach, Onions, Sweet Potatoes, Celery, Kale, Broccoli, Tomatoes, Baby Bok Choy, Carrots, Ginger, Garlic, Bananas, Pineapple, Citrus fruit, Apple, Pears, Strawberries, Grapes & Papaya. Had Salmon & Tuna three times a week w/ Brown Rice, Pasta dish Twice a week, Big Salad twice a week as main meals. Twice a month I'd have a Rotisserie Chicken from the store. Once a month I'd treat myself to a take out Pizza or Some Chinese food. Now adding more beans and other plants.
    Bottom line is my A1C is down to 5.4 and got other bonuses! I lost 15 lbs, my BP is down to 117/73 and my Colon got cleaned!

    i’ll never forget this thing that happened to me at 6 years old. my mom kept taking me to different doctors cause i had these heinous eczema outbreaks. every doctor just prescribed me steroids and other nonsense. but one doctor we saw, after i had left the room, the female doctor had told my mom “we as doctors aren’t supposed to say this to patients, but dairy and eggs are a direct cause of eczema”
    that really stuck with me. the fact that doctors aren’t supposed to tell their patients the truth about what’s causing their illnesses. i still eat meat, just in moderation. no eggs, no dairy ever.

    Having adopted this type of diet recently, I think/hope we will start seeing a large shift towards a plant-based diet in people all over the world. The only barrier I see is that people might have a hard time with titles associated with a plant-based diet. They will assume you need to be either a vegetarian or vegan to hold a plant-based diet, *which is not at all true.* They will assume that when they eat at a friends place that they will need to hand them a list of acceptable foods or a blacklist of foods or show up and say 'I can't eat that'. The reality is, all you need is to have the majority of your diet come from plants. Seldomly eating some meat won't disturb any of the microbiomes you have set up to receive nutrients from your plant-based diet.
    If your goal is only your personal well-being, you don't need to religiously abstain from meat. Vegans and vegetarians *usually* have other motivations for their food choices and improved health is just a plus. Again, I think that people assuming they have to join one of these groups and live that way exclusively may become a barrier to many who become terrified by the thought of 'i'll never get to eat meat again!'. *I hope for humanity that this view will change.*

      sure is, then the world would go exstinct and animals would die

    • @highlander200268
      @highlander200268 6 лет назад +4

      really? so lets get this right, millions of cows, chickens, pigs would die cause they are domesticated and are not predators and cannot get food, so they would all die, millions of acres of forest land would have to be taken for crops all those animals would die, then all of the ground animals would die from plowing then all of the microbes would die from plowing, then all of the pesticide run off would get into water and kill more animals, yup but no animals would die, i would suggest you do research

    • @noname-ww8jh
      @noname-ww8jh 6 лет назад +8

      @ Highlander -- you're right, the cows, chickens, and pigs would rather be confined to a cage where they can't turn their head, stand in their own waste, get impregnated for milk, have their young taken away for said milk, cut the beaks off chickens, and for egg-laying chickens, let's literally kill all of their chicks that are born male because they can't lay eggs... You're so right, let's completely subject these animals to these mass-scale, life-long, torturous conditions because some moles might get hurt when we plant vegetables instead. And because livestock don't need to eat, right? We don't have to farm millions of acres for billions of livestock, right? They eat air, don't they? And we don't want to kill off "microbes" by planting vegetables because that would be bad for the environment, even though animal agriculture is the second leading cause of climate change.

    • @PrimevalArt
      @PrimevalArt 5 лет назад +6

      Highlander Let’s get this straight raising animals cuts the rainforest down and kills/extinct thousands of animals like birds, reptiles and insects. Foxes,wolves and bears get shot to protect cows, and pigs. Raising animals does not make you a predator to them it’s simply an artificial process not a natural food chain. Animal agriculture is 50% of the worlds pollution, land usage, resource usgage, contamination. 300,000 whales, turtles,sharks, and dolphins are killed catching “seafood” all this will continue to grow. The complete opposite will happen in a vegan world!

    • @highlander200268
      @highlander200268 5 лет назад +1

      @@PrimevalArt oh boy you are stupid, in order to feed 7 billion people we need to farm animals,second when you need more crop land you tear down forests cause crop land can only be used for so many years, as i grew u on a farm i know this, which you dont apparently, the land becomes unfurtile, which means more forests has to be taken, killing all the animals in that forest, trees, destroying microbes in the ground, billions of them, killing rabbits, mice, snakes and other creatures in the process of plowing, then pesticides kill even more cause of run off to water supplies, but hey who is counting here? lol wow you people really are ignorant to actual facts arent you?
      when you farm animals you have an ecosystem, the animals fertilize the ground and it grows, and then they eat the grass that grows from this, this is a complete ecosystem, not so with crops.. but i digress

    I lowered my total serum cholesterol from 190, near high, to 131, heart attack proof, in 12 weeks. My primary care doctor says it usually takes 2 statins to get that low.
    People simply think they will have to eat bushels of lettuce and life will suck doing that but they fail to realize they can eat all kinds of starches which are very satisfying. Many, many people die prematurely even after they are told diet change will work. It is very sad.

    I had early onset dementia and cataracts, I was on statins clopidogrel and blood pressure meds, I had already had a minor stroke in the area of balance, I had to stop taking Losic because of liver and kidney damage, I wayed 115kg was eating pies coffee Waves, sweet surgery creamy drink, burgers chips and Coca-Cola. After three weeks of Joel Fuhrman's vegan diet my blood pressure was so low I ceased all meds, reflux went away immediately. Five weeks later I had my blood checked, everything except liver function was normal. Losec in New Zealand can be purchased over the counter, it is advertised for babies with colic! I am rapidly losing weight, my memory is improving, my cognitive ability is improving. And I am practising mindfulness, weight training long walks and swimming, so I am now very happy.

    If you have been on the Standard American Diet for years you will get amazing results if you make the radical change to a plant based diet! You will lose weight, improve cardiovascular, think clearer etc. However, if you have been Vegan for years and have developed nutrient deficiencies and other health issues and then you start eating nutrient dense foods like grass fed beef, pasture raised chicken and eggs, grass fed butter etc. you will feel fantastic and your condition will improve. There are thousands of people that have made the switch one way or the other and can attest to the amazing healing properties of such and such a diet. No one is lying!!! Also, some people can thrive on nothing but raw foods, some thrive on a high carbohydrate diet and some thrive on a nutrient dense Animal diet. Both sides can point to successes and to unhealthy people eating one diet or the other. It all boils down to the history and needs of that particular person. Sorry, but life is just not as predictable as everyone wishes it was.

    I adopted a whole foods plant-based diet back in 2015 and was able to come off of ALL MEDICATION including Lipitor, norvasc, Diovan, effexor and long-acting and fast-acting insulins. Then I moved in with my daughter's.I paid the rent and phone, she paid for food and utilities. All junk food. I wound up back on all medications. Now I am back to having to pay much more for the meds so I am back to the whole foods plant-based diet. I am praying for the same outcome.
