  • Brockwood Park 1981 - Question #3 from Question & Answer Meeting #1
"I am in pain. However I try to meet it I do not come to the totality of the fact. It invariably remains partial and becomes an abstraction, and the pain continues. How can I penetrate the problem without it becoming theoretical?"
This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

Following his thoughts is so difficult. I keep trying. I know I'll reach it. Someday.

I know you'll do, Natalia. There is this magical thing, so immense. The seek, the sight of seeing arrogance.
Isn't that a great question this person made? How can I approach the thought without thought? Isn't that the question? Isn't it complex? Isn't that so intriguing, this fact of the very question be thought itself, made of language?
Let's ask questions together, and see their movement together. We're alive, you see? We no longer need anyone to help us see. Let's help ourselves, 'cause we are alive, here and now.

Time isn't the variable. It's only when you listen to him that you understand him. If you listen attentively and "walk" the path with him while listening you will understand what he is saying. It's easy to follow the path while listening to him. What's not easy is to follow the path on your own, without his companionship. Understanding him is at the moment, at the instant, it's not a matter of time. That is what happens with me.

Time is an illusion ... All time is based on thought - no thought and verbalisation can penetrate the truth

I am loving this! A chance to step back and observert my pain og be able to «treat» it as the mental pain it is. Just feel it without relativt it to any condition 😍😍 I will practice!

Love of self and life in general beside an introspective mind would seem to lead to a dissolving of mental pain at least to some extent
